The funniest part about the FF Origin scene is he plays it, lets it play the entire time as they're walking out, then stops it after they leave. He chose to play that song as his badass walk away moment for everyone else to see.
The mystery of Druid ones genuinely made me laugh out loud a couple times. The fact that he no sold that he was eating human meat and then went to slowly take another bite while the dude is dumping exposition on him was hysterical
I can't lie I love the Goofy 'death' scene for just how seriously it's treated. Games like Kingdom Hearts or Sonic Adventure 2 that are sincere with their storytelling despite how silly it is when you dissect the scenes, I can't help but respect.
The funny thing with that goofy scene is the manga did it a lot better. In the manga a giant pile of boulders falls on Goofy, and later they find out he survived because the rocks fell in a way that it left a perfectly Goofy shaped hole.
Wasn’t it the manga writer (or light novel?) that wrote Days? The one seen as the best story in the series? Makes sense they’d make the goofy scene a million times better with it making more sense why they’d assume he’s dead and using Goofy’s canon cartoony luck. Nomura really should’ve just gotten an actual writer for the series. Imagine how amazing the series would’ve been if was well written all the way through.
Learning the ending to KH1 is one of the only video game scenes that ever made Coney cry is like seeing the tragic backstory that led to an antagonist being the way they are in the present
Gotta be honest I wish more people would bring up the “I’M DISAPPOINTED IN YOU COLONEL HRAAAAAAAAAAGH!” scene more with X4, so much solid cheesy gold in it.
One of my favorites has to be from Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. Silver the Hedgehog is fighting Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow slows down time with a Chaos Emerald, runs behind him, and roundhouse kicks him in the back of the head before he even realizes what's happening.
Context on Thanos: He sees Ryu's Satsui no Hadou, and gets interested. The party infiltrates Sigma's Lab, and while they build an Infinity Stone-powered cannon to shoot at Ultron-Sigma, he builds a siphoning gauntlet, which he immediately uses on Ryu. He then discards the Stone in his possession as a "pebble".

In MVCI, we see Ryu trying to suppress it while fighting Ultron-Sigma's forces. The heroes seek the other four Infinity Stones to stand a chance. They release Thanos to help them track the Stones. In a scene, Thanos sees Ryu fighting while trying to contain the Satsui no Hadou, and takes interest in the apparent power boost it gives him. Some fun trivia about Mickey in KH. Mickey gets that sword in the KH equivalent to Hell. In his first appearance in the series, he appears shirtless. To keep continuity with the series in a game that happens to occur at the same time as that first appearance, they show how he lost his shirt (it got destroyed when he was attacked by a monster in the aforementioned Hell). You can play him in KH2 if you suck at the game, as he sometimes appears as a revival mechanic and is fucking busted. He can stop time. No bullshit, he has time magic and uses it at least twice.
@@Sassaparillaonly problem with the continuity thing with the shirt Is that he is wearing different shoes. They gave us shirtless Mickey 2, just for the sake of shirtless Mickey 2.
Man, the final voting being only won by a single vote is crazy. I personally found the Stranger of Paradise scene to be amazing, it's so out of nowhere and a HUH moment since it's Final Fantasy.
There's more context that makes the FFO scene even funnier, first of all that's the middle of the song, its not like the beginning of the song its like a minute into the song, secondly he turns it off immediately after he's out of earshot. He had that song prepped in the middle of it to walk away to look cool, bro planned that whole thing with a theme song and everything.
3:36 The thing about "That's the Tony Hawk sound effect!" is that some sound effects genuinely are just either royalty free or from sound libraries. Deadly premonition with its already bad sound library has a sound effect for I think it's when you kill an enemy through a headshot or when your kill spawns an item reward and quite a few TEMU ads use the same sound effect, just pitched up.
Honestly 3 has so many. Vanitas getting thrown through the door, Goofy yelling “Donald don’t” before the duck kills himself using the most powerful spell in Final Fantasy history
The "I'm me he says" is so viscerally hilarious because responding "no I'm me" is so childish and absurd that it would be the enough in itself for any KH game but no the game has to note that it's a stupid line and comment on it wich is unexpected coming from a KH game.
Honestly to me it’s just ridiculous because Riku clarifies simplistically that he is himself so they must be impossible, and the imposter just goes “lol dumb”
Yeah the first two lines are funny but what you'd expect from a two clones situation or whatever the context is I don't know. But the unexpected sass thrown into this ridiculous scenario is just HILARIOUS
“The Town With No Name” has some PHENOMENAL cutscenes and some absolutely awful voice acting. The “do you have the time” cutscene is actually phenomenal

Well when it's taken out of context of the actual scene and cut down to just the laugh itself, that's unfortunately going to happen. So anyone who never played FFX get shown that clip and think that the acting is terrible, because they get zero context for anything else.
My favorite cutscene bugs are the ones where the character models are in the cutscene but the environment and enemy AI is still active. That Red Dead cutscene was playing, but an explosion happened in the gameplay loop mid-cutscene, blowing a couple of a character’s limbs clean off, and it just KEPT GOING.

So technically they ARE different people
Sorry, that's basically his clone who was having an existential crisis at the time. The scene after you beat him in that fight is mentioned in the ESRB description too. "One cutscene depicts a clone who talks about his impending death as he slowly disintegrates." And it's a nice contrast to the previous scene which is funny out of context (and honestly, the delivery makes it funny even in context) where riku starts reassuring his replica as he dies. Man, I fucking love kingdom hearts and how earnest it is.
if you know anything about Yakuza, you'll know that Kiryu just effortlessly shattering a statue with his bare fist is not even close to the craziest thing he's done
as a massive KH fan for as long as i can remember, i have 2 things to say about this The Mickey Mouse cutscene genuinely gives me chills and gets me hyped because of the music and because of what comes after (if you've ever heard of the 1000 heartless battle, that's right after this and i ALWAYS keep a save file there so i can do it whenever i want to) and for "I'm me he says", kingdom hearts out of context is absolutely hysterical. "Say fellas, did somebody mention the door to darkness" is another classic Speaking of KH out of context being hilarious, look up Yeetus Vanitas and "Who else will i have ice cream with"
If there's not a single SotN cutscene, I'm gonna be upset. Not the well-known ones obviously, something along the lines of when Alucard first meets Death or the Succubus or the Ferryman
Honestly, out of Kingdom Hearts clips, that is a good and funny one. Although I personally (as for as KH cutscenes go) that one falls second compared to Sully from Monster's Inc throwing Vanitas through a door and then chaining throwing doors through doors is just absolutely fun.
there's a lot of good cutscene, from toby fox's game, bioshock, some old games, command&conquer, world in conflict, faith, etc.(too many) my favorite cutscene gotta be the lord horrik canorem from "Shootas, blood, & teef" that scene is just batshit insane, and lore accurate

I can't believe this didn't have the infamous "I found you, faker" cutscene from sonic adventure 2
as a massive KH fan for as long as i can remember, i have 2 things to say about this
The Mickey Mouse cutscene genuinely gives me chills and gets me hyped because of the music and because of what comes after (if you've ever heard of the 1000 heartless battle, that's right after this and i ALWAYS keep a save file there so i can do it whenever i want to)
and for "I'm me he says", kingdom hearts out of context is absolutely hysterical. "Say fellas, did somebody mention the door to darkness" is another classic
Speaking of KH out of context being hilarious, look up Yeetus Vanitas and "Who else will i have ice cream with"
And the winner is, every kingdom hearts cutscene!
I see Coney has caught on to what made the bad video game music video so successful
the bracket format
“I do know hurt”
-Sora, Kingdom Hearts 3
I am Darkness
-Vanitas Kingdom Hearts 3
"Kairi's inside me?"
-Sora, Kingdom Hearts
“That’s…nuts!”
-Sora, one of the KH games idk
"Mickey, it's riku, they put bugs inside him!"
- Kingdom hearts Re Coded
@@TheDukeofCheese12KH 2 I'm pretty sure
If there's not a single SotN cutscene, I'm gonna be upset. Not the well-known ones obviously, something along the lines of when Alucard first meets Death or the Succubus or the Ferryman
Chat had a funny one they mentioned, that being the Megaman X “WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOooooooooOrrrrrrrrr?” Scene with Zero and Iris
I’m curious what coney would’ve thought about the killer7 ulmeyda cutscene
What I’ve learn from this is that Square enix makes the funniest games every made
Honestly, out of Kingdom Hearts clips, that is a good and funny one.
Although I personally (as for as KH cutscenes go) that one falls second compared to Sully from Monster's Inc throwing Vanitas through a door and then chaining throwing doors through doors is just absolutely fun.
Square utterly dominating this tournament.
There's a real lack of "What am i fighting fooooooorrrrrr?!?!?!"
Snake getting shot is easily the funniest one don't @ me
It coming down to FF vs KH just makes so much sense.
I really hope the YOOP is here.
Edit: 13:20 Oh yeah, it's here.
Also, let it be known that steamboat Willie only has a violence of 7, actually.
I CANNOT believe Megaman X4 “what am I fighting for” wasn’t on here
Coney is too smooth brained for Killer7
every yakuza cutscene should be on here
I know NBA players are not voice actors, but I feel like those guys did one take and left
If AI replaced them, we wouldn't have comedy gold
Left? They definitely didnt even bother going to the studio. An intern held the phone next to them while they read through the script
I can't believe no one posted the Sonic Adventure 2 "Faker" cutscene.
Haven't seen yet, but the "I'm an optimist, but I'm also a realist; Sonic is gone"-scene HAS to be on this
glad to teach the people about Thanos Hadouken
Some good KH scenes here but I'm surprised no one came with Sora saying "You're stupid".
My personal favorite has to be Thanos learning the satsui no hado
there's a lot of good cutscene, from toby fox's game, bioshock, some old games, command&conquer, world in conflict, faith, etc.(too many)
my favorite cutscene gotta be the lord horrik canorem from "Shootas, blood, & teef"
that scene is just batshit insane, and lore accurate
“Say, fellas. Did someone mention the door to darkness?”
The frame perfect wild woody jumpscare 💀
The "A Bomb" scene from Deus Ex is really good, but look up the "What a rotten way to die" scene. Probably one of my favorites all time.
*lip smack*
Missed opportunity to have that goofy silver vs shadow fight cutscene from sonic 06 where shadow slows time and kick silver in the back of the head and then just stand there looking at him.
"I'm sorry sir but it will upset-"
Kiryu: "ALL AROUND THE WOOORLD- (4:44)"
Surprised there’s no Deadly Premonitioj cutscenes in thus video, that game is the cream of the crop for funny cutscenes.
One of the only things I know from that game is the coffee scene.
