Here where I live, on a small island in the Baltic Sea, there are only very few foxes. Most of them died from mange 30 years ago. That’s why it’s nice to see a fox, even if it’s only on video.
Lovely Video Mike, we have a family of Foxes visit our garden every day, Willow the male, my wife named him his Mrs and 2 young, although same size now, my wife started feeding them, bad idea, they cache some of there food, they dig holes everywhere, wish we had not started now, but Lovely animals.
Very nice, thanks for sharing. I had three encounters with a local Red Fox last year. Always such a thrill to have one close by. It was in excellent condition as well. Very hit and miss seeing them in the area.
This post absolutely captured the mysterious nature of the fox along with the fantastic settings, images and videos...what an absolute joy to watch...Thank you so much Mike for sharing this with us.
Great video again Mike, when I lived in a town fox regularly visited the garden with its cubs. Now living out in the countryside, very rarely see them. Probably kept down by the farmers and local hunters 😢
Great video and photos. Urban foxes are wonderful. So intelligent and curious. They have a natural empathy for humans. They are not aggressive and will form bonds with people in their territory if you treat them right.
Very interesting, Mike. This past spring a vixen raised three kits in a groundhog hole in our fencerow out back. I would see them playing sometimes in the early morning but I never tried to approach them. I just watched through the kitchen window. I didn't want them hanging around after the kits were grown and all my bird feeders would become a fox buffet.
Hi Mike I had a great time with this city fox video, beautiful photos too. It's also nice that he almost ran off with your camera backpack. Did you have any damage to the backpack straps or was it not too bad? I love that too, I thought it was a very entertaining video😂😂😂👏👏👍❤️😇
Great video. I have foxes come every night to our garden. However they never show up at daytime. In Gothenburg there are foxes everywhere there is a small forest area.
Beautiful videos. I've just got myself an om-1 and blown away by the quality. To be fair, my previous camera was an E-1 so there have been a few improvements since then!
Amazing video! I have the 100-400 with the EM1X and the EM1 mkiii, did you see a marked improvement going to the OM-1 mk1 as that is in my budget. Cheers from Alpine California.
Unfortunately the fox does not engender such feelings down here in Australia. We tend to see the results of their nightly pursuits in the form of the new born lambs mutilated bodies. Not to take away from your stunning work and postings of which I am a long time admirer , it is just the fox ones that are hard to watch unencumbered by gory memories. Nevertheless, keep up the good work and I hope you don't get caught in any of those storms we see on TV hitting your homeland. All the best and a happy Christmas.
Wonderful images Mike, lovely to see the foxes so relaxed with people nearby.
Thanks.

You could watch it again at breakfast. I get paid twice as much then.
@@MikeLaneFRPSAlways happy to oblige. I didn’t click the “ like” button twice, though!
I have never seen a Red Fox confiding like this one! So cute and curious at the same time. Thanks for sharking 🙂

You can do it!

My wife has and industrial sewing machine and was able to repait the strap.

Or you could view it tomorrow as well.
@@MikeLaneFRPS I may do that just to help your wallet :-)
Great video and great photos from start to finish.

Thank you, stunning video.

Wow, love foxes, and love your videos mike - so the perfect combo! Where did you go to see such tame foxes?
Thanks. Unable to say where. Sorry
@@MikeLaneFRPS No worries. I respect your decision.
Beautiful images 👏👏👏
Thank you! Cheers!
I know I shouldn't laugh but the ending was very amusing! Wonderful close-up footage.
I was laughing and my wife has an industrial sewing machine so it's as good as new!
@@MikeLaneFRPS Ah brilliant!! Hope the go-pro-on-a-rope was ok too! Lol!
trop beau, quelle chance
Welcome
great images.
Thanks
Great, great pictures and story. Since some days owner of OM 1. First Cam, still very good Lumix G9. Regards, Michael from Germany.
Many thanks!
Fantastic video.
Thank you very much!
Great work Mike.
What has become of the 150 - 400 lens - I think you mentioned it has been sent for repairs?
Having a few problems with it.
What a magnificent experience that would have been. Do you use any baits to attract them?
They pose better without.
Very impressive 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks
Wonderful images and video, man! Sorry about your bag, though!
It's still going
Beautiful videos. I've just got myself an om-1 and blown away by the quality. To be fair, my previous camera was an E-1 so there have been a few improvements since then!

It’s not Saturday is it? Lovely pictures Mike.
Change of schedule to see if it improves viewing numbers.

AF on the OM-1 is much better.
@@MikeLaneFRPS so new life for the 100-400?
