Hi there, I was wondering if you could help answer a question I have about this unit, I've never used a rack mount effect processor, but what I want to do is find out if I could use this into a guitar amplifier that has no fx loop as a reverb/delay unit in a pedal chain for simple home use. Thanks I appreciate your time!

Hi there! You’d most likely need something in front of the unit to raise the instrument level to line level. Assuming you have a pedal which does this then it will technically work. In my experience guitar amps can be lofi, so your mileage may vary on the quality of the sound… That said, if you’ve tried a reverb pedal (or something similar) and are happy with the sound you should be good. Honestly, that sound demo could've been carried out more judiciously. How is one to discern between the dry and the wet sound if you never let the dry sound through for starters, and if you coooonstantly jerk the values on the unit?
Let me hear the dry sound for a couple of seconds, then let me hear what the MicroVerb4 does with the sound for another few seconds, then let me hear what it sounds like with a different value of the Edit A parameter for a few seconds, and so on...

Sorry dude. The video wasn’t intended as a sound demo, more about how I’ve got it setup as I couldn’t find much info about setting up one of these in a modern setup.

Is there anyway to set up to play the microverb effects in a live recording ?

Yes, you could either insert into the channel you want delay / reverb or set up send and return so multiple channels can have FX applied. Does that help?

@@3dims so I’ve set it up with my interface
5/6 input and output looping from my interface to the microverb
I’ve tried setting up the I/o plug in but having difficulties and not getting a signal through the microverb
Trying everything and can’t set it up, unsure what’s up

@@ThEN003tr0ll if I were you i'd check each of the elements of the chain to see pin point what the issue issue is. For instance, is audio making it out of channels 5/6? Does audio come into 5/6 (without the Microverb in the loop)? Does the Microverb on it's own??? Do you have another effect (maybe a guitar pedal) you know works which you could use to prove the effects loop is working OK?
Good luck getting this going - let us know how you get on.

I stand corrected! I’m relatively new to the MicroVerb 4, so happy to be wrong on this front.
