    I hardly doubt you could have gotten Aus pr even if you move to regional area. I was there same time as you. The immigration policy was as unpredictable as the weather. When i left Brisbane only 4 occupations were on the skilled list. Of all my friends, only one got pR, the rest had to go through the marriage route. You need to appreciate Canada and look back to what your life would be as a temporary resident in Australia. Though i heard its much easier for Pr now. Focus on the real food Canada has given you rather than the cherished crumbs you had in Australia. Peace of mind in invaluable. Honestly, it wasn't easy at first here in Canada for me but it has gotten much better for me in my career and finances. Australia has changed at the moment. My friend pays $350 per week for a room in Perth. So its not all rosy there now. Take care and wish you the best.

      Totally agree, Australia is too expensive now n even if u keep moving with immigration policies, its never easy to get PR here. Life as temporary visa holder sucks. Its just ur luck if u get invited. Be grateful for where u r are, enjoy Canadian life😊

    I live in Toronto Canada and completely agree with the point about immigrants needing to make an effort to learn the way of living, trends, and culture, mindset etc of the new place they’re moving to! I see so many newcomers here who don’t do this at all and it does feel disrespectful for sure. If you move to a new place it’s important to try to respect the place and integrate into the community harmoniously

    • @Whatsnextakanksha
      @Whatsnextakanksha  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks. I also agree that new immigrants in Canada do not want to blend in and integrate in the Canadian culture. It’s saddening and annoying at the same time.

    Akanksha, one your best vlogs. Good advice for everybody even for people who are quite seasoned.
    My two small advices. The money you can spare dump it into a moderate risk equity fund and forget it for the next 20 years. I did it and is helping me a lot. Actually it turned into a gold mine. The risks will even out during the long period of investment.
    2nd advice, take a one week vacation to Florida, Mexico or Caribbeans during winter. This will relax you quite a bit and energize you for rest of the season. I do it most of the winters. Even the thought of going somewhere relaxes you. This is a good medicine for SAD (seasonal affective disorder).
    Wish you all the luck in pursuit of Australian PR.

Once you are a Canadian citizen you can work in the USA as well.
