    This is by far the best speech I have ever heard from Michael, even better than his books ❤Better in the sense that just this one video is all you need to understand his teachings and to do the work.

    Mickey is a brilliant teacher . I have seen and heard many of his videos or apps several times. And each and every time I learn more. This one is one of the very best teachings. I hope to meet him one day at TOU.

    Some people want to disrespect you and at times you may feel triggered to set boundaries but you can just remind yourself of what’s important and let things go.

      All of his videos and books have helped me understand the relationship between the thoughts of the mind and the feelings of the heart.❤️

    The best speech that I ever listened to. Thanks for your time to convince and drive the point across. Incredible, eye opening Nirvana. I could fee the energies as you speak. It was like a guided mediation to me. Thank You Sir!!!!!

    Essentially the same message as Eckhart Tolle’s and the Stoics’
    But Singer puts it across in his own unique original way - v refreshing

      I think Michael Singer is very relatable to the Western mind and a true gift to us all. He also has 2-3 talks every week that he puts up on his temple website completely free.

    What about when it involves your child and they just need to get past an emotion/situation from the past and you know how to help them but they don’t want your help? This eats away at me every day and I know it’s partially my fault.

    So he says why do u want another being to make u feel ok. Well if they’re toxic for my life or abusive , is he saying to keep that in your life? I say good bye to abuse and disrespect. Period. I don’t need to change them but they don’t get the privilege to be in my life

    • @dancuomo3074
      @dancuomo3074 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +30

      No, he’s saying the opposite. You don’t “need” anyone. Peace is found within. If you’re with someone who is abusive , you have an obligation to rid yourself of that situation. That relationship will never feed you.

      The next step is to nothingize and impersonalize aspects of your experience that appear to you to be in the form of a "problem". In your example, a "toxic" person appears to be such due to your perception and judgement. The instant you identify that person as "toxic" you've set yourself up for resistance, which is causing you to suffer. Instantly, with any desire, it's twin of resistance is born. Your desire for a solution to fix your claim of an illusion, appearing to be in the form of a "problem", is causing you to suffer. If you don't pick up the rock you will not have to throw it nor drop it later on. Just look at it at say "there's a rock. Poor rock. It doesn't know it's really a diamond, that it self ensconced within a rock so its light can't shine through. It is nothing to me in its rock form and all it's fears (toxins) projected at me in the form of rock dust are its own, not mine, and its ejecta will not accrete onto my diamond." Shine on!
