Thank you for clarifying this, none of us know why they’ve been hiding this video. They did a massive edit from the original tho. I believe it’s because of the gov response to the vid.
This might be my fav debate vid, its mostly calm and respectful its nice to take a step back from constant yelling, MOSTLY people agreed, and even if they didnt it was respectful, love this
My favorite part is when the criminal tells the cop that he could have cleaned the ocean or became a first responder… YOU COULD HAVE DONE THOSE THINGS BUT YOU COMMITED CRIMES INSTEAD!!!!!
I can tell just by the way this cop answered questions and explained scenarios, that hes extremely genuine and caring for his job. Respect to him. Hope to encounter more people like him.
I respect this cop and wish all cops were more like him. Calm, level headed, and unfazed by the aggression received by the criminals. He also demonstrated how to properly de-escalate their aggression by not rising to their level. And he's spot on with all he is saying.
Exactly, and the sad thing is that he teaches his kids to do the same thing, guaranteed. Ever wonder why young kids already have certain prejudices or hatred for others (and I’m not even talking about just towards cops), it’s because of parents and or adult figures like him. They teach them to hate or fear them before the kids even experience any interaction with them
I understand Tianna… sometimes you are hurt so badly, fall through every crack of the legal system, and get the worst outcome possible that you can’t see past your pain. This is easily the most respectful group of people in any Jubilee 1 vs. XX I've seen. I really appreciate seeing criminals portrayed as people; many people don't have any exposure to different sects of our society. I also use "portrayed" loosely, because it was the individuals who were representing themselves in a positive light.
Yeah who were most likely brought up seeing violence and drugs their whole young lives. You don't know what people go through. Most only have 1 parent if that. The police judges lawyers are all in this for profit. If it wasn't for criminals they would be jobless. The prison industry is for profit. People invest in prisons. Police are encouraged to hunt people down and lock them up. Police paid over 3 billion dollars I lawsuits last year alone and your taxes pay for that. Those taxes could have went to community centers, programs for disenfranchised youth and many other things. But it's people like you who judge so quickly that keeps this same wheel spinning the way it is. They might not be able to articulate themselves properly but they are not wrong.
Until you've been forced by the hand you're delt to do crime, just to survive, you'll never understand. People have to ask the question "WHY is crime committed? What is causing people to commit crime in our society?"
Why is it that when the conversation was ethical and reasonable, the flags were raised instantly but when the lady was talking crazy about how she hates cops, they let it happen? Those flags need to be taken out
This is a thing especially in the liberal vs videos. When someone doesn’t fit their side fully or is questioning things that they agree on they get switched out. When they are in a middle ground they get switched out it’s frustrating. This vid at least the first 10 mins it’s more about they got what they wanted to say and they wanted to leave to let someone else go. Idk tho just for the first 10 mins
everyone's talking about the criminals -- and they were so amazingly respectful! -- but oh my gosh kevin is one of the gentlest, thoughtful, patient and respectful guys i've ever seen on the internet
I find it ironic how the flags go up when the cop makes the argument winning points, people don’t want to hear the truth, they’re more comfortable living in their own “perfect” little bubble.
Lmao do you think he was born with a face tat or that he’s lived a life prior to the tattoo?? And does someone having a face tattoo or “looking menacing” precludes people from being treated with decency and due process???
It's staggering how many people can't wrap their head around the idea of generalities and just hyperfocus on outliers or exceptions and in their mind that's the majority
i wouldnt even say that, but in specific jobs, such "outliners" have a bigger impact and it should be prevented by the system the best it can. same with teachers, judges, childcare/kindergarten-workers or doctors.. but especially cops. where they have shorter education time of all (afaik). nobody cares when a bus driver is racist or is unfair to their customers etc. but if a cop or judge does that, its just a no-go.

@ShotoScrub That's why a few rotten apples spoil the bunch. Here in california, we're expected to lose 5% of our police force every year due to severe misconduct cases. Now imagine how much more that goes unreported.

Can I just say that the girl in the Paris shirt walked up there not intending to listen and then listened. This is why I watch this content, because when put in a vacuum people WILL listen. (Most of the time)
Coming from a criminal also. Bro could have been a doctor but he chose to commit crimes. There is no doubt that a criminal will hate the police because they are the only thing standing between that criminal doing what they wanna do and the innocent population
