I think my favourite thing about this is the fact that not only did that guy in the carrier yolo his way into the strait, he did it and somehow he still survived the whole battle.

He is a carrier, game rules prevent the other team from sinking him.
That guy was practicing top tier memery like there's no tomorrow. Did he need to go? Not really, thought the shorter distance to fly to the enemies is beneficial. Did he need to bait the enemies by going back and forth? Absolutely not, but he did it and nailed it anyway.

He almost looks like that guy that would leave his teammates to the Queen while laughing "I don't have to be faster than her, I just have to faster than you 2", doesn't he Jingles. Sound familiar? xD
There's something speshul about watching an old man teasing another old man about his age and skill.
I enjoyed watching this video, enjoyed playing this match and absolutely died in voice coms while it was happening of laughter xD

Orkan and Worcester still did remarkably well to hold their flank against all of the enemy on their side, if they'd gone down the game would have been a loss - to me they were the men of the match, hilarious in general though!

The audio of this is hilarious. Mr G had had the hiccups while roasting Flambass. The whole thing is comedy gold.

@@Schmeethe88 this game was super painful to play. It felt like everywhere I wasn't we were losing (except for öster he was good) up until the very end when I too failed miserably. Tbh I wasn't really paying attention To the other flanks until the end since I knew I had to hold mine

Pre-carrier re-work we had two carriers on two brothers and they both charged down the center (dual air supremacy bogues so no big loss). Our team didn't want to lose both our carriers so we all charged in after them. We lost both carriers but won the game. Enemy team went around the sides and we just mob rushed counterclockwise and chewed up any force we came across. It would have made any admiral or tactician sob salty tears with how much a mockery we made of naval warfare.

Regarding Mr G., I watched him deliberately block Flambas from retreating to cover behind an island. The best part was Mr G. got sunk, and Flambas didn't.
did you see the one where Mr G stream sniped Flambino's torp launch and blocked 13 of 15 Shima torps? Those three in Div are just too much.
And then Flambass backed into him, and slid sideways out of sight of the people firing at him.
Watched this on Flambass' channel the other day. It's worth watching just for the voice coms of those three with all this madness devolving!

I was about to say, the carrier pushing them out of the smoke screen and telling them to go do something was well-deserved after they did it to the battleships. Oh and Flambass getting torped was hilarious
On second thought, a carrier down the middle makes a lot of sense. Short way to every point, short ferry time for aircraft, hard for enemy carrier to hit something in the narrow, especially with defensive fighter and CV AA. Backed up by, say, a cruiser with smoke and an ability to punish DDs sneaking in, it's actually a reasonable tactic, no?

It definitely has its merits, not sure if they outweigh the risks, and I don’t really care to start playing the game in order to find out.
On this map? You just park yourself around the corner to that strait if you're smart... Especially in the complete balans the RU CVs are. Their team collapses? YOLO the cap. Your team collapses? You have an unexpected escape route.
The only problem is, if the enemy has a very fast BB and you get spotted while coming in initially, that can be a fast ticket to port
@@Maty83. aye, maybe not smart to yolo at the start, but in all other positions you invite being chased down or getting long range AP thrown at you after the enemy CV spots you.
@@bjrneirikstrkersen1021 Not unless the enemy has already broken through. Most CVs can make the corner in one turn so you just leave while throwing everything at the nearest ship
If the enemy had a radar cruiser In range just around the corner it can be VERY bad for you.
Is this a sign that the world's returning to normal? Flambass, on this map, in the middle ... We can only hope.
Remember, though the classical allegorical term is "a ship of fools," the fools do not necessarily need to all be on one ship.
The Shokaku thought she was her sister Zuikaku that became bait for the Americans during The Battle of Leyte Gulf and charged forward lmao
I hadn't seen much of MrG before the CC walkout, and I wasn't a fan the few times I had seen him.
But, thanks to the CC walkout, when MrG, Flambass and Trenlass div up - they are hilarious!
Two thoughts: Flambass, Trenlass, Gibbons et al: We can't outsmart them, but we can outstupid them!
8:30 Friendly reminder that the CV can still drop you even when you have a Plymouth, Ragnar, Colbert and a Shokaku nuts to butts! :)
This was easily the most amusing match I've seen in a long time.

@@Riker1990 Too bad the Navy often had pretty cheap ones that were more for show than use but it's the spirit that counts.
Edit: Also do you remember the German CVs where this is (was?) actually viable.
IJN CVs do actually have pretty decent HE shells in those secondary batteries...but the firing arcs are AWFUL.

I haven't played WoWs since about 2015, so things have very likely changed 😄

Good morning from the states. Flambass, Trenlass and Gibbons are a rare combination of talent and comedy gold. Gibbons is like that fun uncle that just happens to be good at gaming, comes over for the holidays and spends the day gaming with the kids teaching them inappropriate words and telling stories about your mom that you wish you you had never heard.

For once, the phrase "don't try this at home!" Makes sense to me.
Other times, "don't try this at home" makes me want to try driving a motor bike while on fire, at home. Because I figure, "well, how did this person figure out how to do what they did, without trying it at home?! Right? They had to try it at some point and got good enough to eventually say, "don't try that at home".
Bunk I say!
But running the 2 Brothers gap alone, I will definitely not try that.
When Flambass posted the live stream replay on his TH-cam channel, I couldn't stop laughing, that is the most hilarious and enjoyable battle replay I have ever seen.
I saw this game live, and Flambass's laughing was so infectious, it nearly killed me! 😂

That was a fun fight, I have to say I did watch the video when flambass put it up first, but I'm glad you got to see that one and you decided to put it up to because it was a series of crazy mistakes and Mayhem that was just totally fun to watch. And there was definitely plenty of that in this I couldn't believe it when I first saw the carrier come right in the middle of it all!? What the heck is he doing?!

I was playing a Random Battle last night, probably in the Nuremberg. I was in a nutty mood and decided to rush the center on Two Brothers, and a aircraft carrier rushed in ahead of me. I don't remember how the battle went. But somebody else must have been watching the live stream or your video!
The biggest surprise was that the carrier survived! Great game...to watch and enjoy the comedy.
I have to admit it was a funny Jingles commentary, but hearing those three in video still makes it better, so I love Flambasses upload more :)

Watched this on Trenlass’s YT stream, then on Flambass’s channel. The inter-team commentary is so funny, especially when the carrier pushes out. If you get a chance watch them , it’s absolutely hilarious. Mr G is merciless in his trolling.
