Very good video, I thought we were the only people that has "strange" problems. Working on sued, abuse / basket cases requires creative solutions. Nothing can be trusted, we've ;earned that the hard way. Just finish a WR450F starter battle royal. Frustrating and educational at the same time. Keep up the good work, its appreciated. 👍👍
Been waiting on another video. Great useful video as per usual. Keep it up man. As an Aircraft Mechanic i really enjoy your videos. You are helping alot of people with useful and more importantly correct information.
@@restoroosterohv it uses induction to heat a specific object as hot as you want it is hard to explain but i feel it isolates the heat to a specific area and maybe it would have heated just the crank and expanded it enough to break that bond
@@restoroosterohv I used my torch to try to free bolts in aluminum water pump housing and broke three out of six put the bolt buster on and rest came out easy I am sold on it I live in rust belt and work on alot of cars and it has been a lifesaver
Hmm, generally you want to “heat the hole” to cause expansion but heating the bolt head and allowing it to cool can certainly break rust and liquid threadlockers.

Yes, you run into them every once in a while for sure. Appreciate your continued support.

As always, I absolutely appreciate your support and patience
Glad I watched this my crf450 starter has started to do this
That sound will also happen if the voltage is too low. Check power through the entire system.
@@restoroosterohv will do thank you
Ohh you're still alive, that's good 👍
Yes, it is good. Thanks
I recently purchased a bolt buster induction heater, I think it would of been perfect for this job , another great video !
How does that work out?

@Rick-4552 yes sir, I am aware of what it is, just wondering how it has worked out for you using it over a torch.

Great video mate
Learn alot from your videos
Keep more coming
Thank you for your feedback and continued support
Another great video!!! I had the same problem with the flywheel on an 1983 440 Jet Ski. What a nightmare!!! Sorry you had to go through that.
Thank you. That’s the worst one I’ve ever encountered.
If mine is doing the same thing with buying a new starter, fix it
Follow the test procedures
Another great video!
Thank you
Great info, thx 😊
Thank you for your comment and support
I assume loctite on the taper?
The heat would have broken that for sure. May have been severely over tightened at one time.
hey man how do u like kfx450r so far i think about pick one up is worth it
I’ve had a few in my life but I am more of a two wheel guy. They are great racing quads that actually have reverse.
Next time you have to apply heat to get a stuck nut or bolt etc loose don't use pb blaster use a crayon.
Good tip. Never heard of that but scientifically makes sense.
