Hi! the 2 batteries are they juste in series, it doesn't affect the batterie? I tried it with 2 parkside batteries ans it distroyed one. is the BMS capable to work with 40V? Do you have used your scooter for some times, and your batteries are ok? Does somebody opened a PARKSIDE PERFORMANCE®40V tool to analyse the way they do it?
What do you mean with "now" The hub motor and the controller are from completely different scooters. Haven't tested the range, but the cool thing is you can bring spare batteries. You don't need to wait them go charge.
@@icku Now as in "after the modifications" as opposed to before. That is what interests me most about this as well, just hotswap the batteries. But ofc if you'd have to do that every few hundred meters, that's be a burden, not a relief. So I was hoping you have since tested how long the scooter will run on one charge. Thank you though, great video.
@@J0ermungand Yeah, i thought thats what you mean. Well like i said there was no before. The base is simple foot scooter, the controller is from one model, the motor from other. Its completely "new product" haha. Well judging by the charge indicators of the batteries you can drive tens of kilometers. The peak power if the motor is 300W. Least powerful Parkside angle grinder is twice of that.
why front wheel tho? and do you think it would be possible to put 2rows of 18650 batteries inside body just like you put controller?
Hello , nice project ! Do you have a link for the battery adapter ? I searched exactly for this one , but couldn`t find it. Thanks
Sorry, no. Those were locally bought.
Do you have a link where you got the motor from? Thanks!

Batteries are in series. 40 volts. Yes, i have been driving it for some time with no issues at all.
My question is, can 3 batteries be used in series for 60v ?
Yes you can.
Well done
Nice idea... what's the range on this thing now? Has it significantly changed?
