Oh WoW❗️❗️❗️David, that White Arch shot was stunning, I’d love to take something like that but I’d need a Sea King from Valley to get me down there, never mind up. How you got such a beautiful shot of Snowdon from there with that lens I’ll never know, there’s hope for me yet as I’ve got that lens and we’re looking at coming down for a few days later in the year
Hello Brian, thank you ever so much for your kind feedback. I suppose that there are times when you simply have to take a slight risk to get the shot. The problem was for me that everything else I'd seen was from the clifftop, and of course from that angle you can't really see through the arch properly. With regards to the very long telephoto shot of Snowdon, I was very surprised it came out as well as it did although it was quite difficult dealing with all those flat mid-tones in post. 😊👍
@@DGriffGallery I'd love to at least try the shot though i wish it was now as i love the snow capped mountains. I may have to get my friend to edit it though if i dont get my new laptop in time. If my friend gets the deal he's after then he is giving me his old Mac which is even better. As for the white arch i totally understand why you took it from there and yes it is a much better angle but i couldnt physically get there, possibly get down to the first rocks but wont know until im on the scene
Hi, thank you ever so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Yes, it’s one of my favourite local spots, and not very well known. There are usually very few other people about, but I shall be back there before too long with my new camera system! 😊👍🏻
Well you have done it again, another location for me to visit from your travels, great shots and will do my best to match your images and a few more as well, here is to the next little gem you come up with, we will have to get out and finaly shoot one day like we discussed
Visited the White Arch Today, but unlike you with good weather, it was blowing a howler and couldn't get near the cliff to get down, even trying to get a shot from the top was impossible even with my camera back weighing the tripod down there was still too much movement to capture the right image, so its back again on another day, visited the old brickworks on my return home to shoot some there, Also the walk to the arch was as boggy as it could get,
Your very own Durdle Door...nearly. Always worth possible death to get the shots! Very well produced image, the lighting was excellent. Great shot of Snowdon. That’s some telephoto. Good vlog and well narrated
D Griff Gallery ...absolutely! It’s often the solitude that helps the creative flair! Never been to Durdle Door, not on my list to be honest as I prefer the less known places
Hi Stephen. Not sure which one you mean. I haven't vlogged any as I've only been filming 6 months. I'll certainly bear it in mind though. Thanks for the tip!
Reviewing your vlog. What a beautiful place, but down to the beach... 😅
Stay safe David.
Lunching at the White Eagle tomorrow, that’s whetted my appetite for a walk with the camera afterwards. Thanks for the prompt!
Brian Horsey Do it! 😁
I'll add this to my list of places to visit. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful work Mr. Griff. I enjoy your presentations. Thanks for sharing
Tony Blackwell thanks a lot! 😁 nice to get encouragement.

Hi James. Yes if you're ever in the area it's well worth a visit. And usually very few other people about too!
Love it David, great places and some lovely shots! hoping to be over your way for a few days in a couple of weeks.
Really hope the weather is good for you. That's always the issue wound here. I'm lucky that I can wait for the good light!
Great vlog and shots. Looking forward to you next one.
Cheers Mark. Appreciate your encouragement!

I often struggle with camera stability with the winds we get on the South West side of the island!
