    Nice review but I'm still torn in my decisions. I just bought a week ago the r1700bt model. These are for mainly music coming from my iTunes library or internet radio or TH-cam videos etc. I live in an apartment that has a nice living room and kitchen open space which I like to bring my speakers there for little get togethers supper and small party. I use to have my old Bose 201 speakers which were rich and full sounding but my old pioneer amp died so that is why I went for the more convenient Edifier speakers with it's Bluetooth and already amplified.
    I find them too small and a bit thin sounding in higher volume. I was looking into the s1000MKII or the S2000pro but could not any good comparisons for my needs. I use a Mac mini i7. Which one would have the richest sound for 70's etc rock music ?

    Helpful video, thanks. So can you connect these to the TV with the optical cable, MP3 players via bluetooth and a stereo receiver via the speaker wires (splicing the RCA connectors to the end)? Can you take just the the powered one alone outside and use with ipod?

    • @NasiLemakTech

      You can, though the audio will only be one-sided. It's not meant to be a mono speaker.

    • @NasiLemakTech
      @NasiLemakTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think it makes much of a difference, honestly. It ultimately depends on your audio source and soundcard.

      @@NasiLemakTech Thank you so much for your swift reply. If i can get an optical output from my pc thus bypassing it's internal souncard, would'nt the built-in dac of the speaker does a better conversion than the sound card in my pc which is just a simple one?

      @@NasiLemakTech I've been researching speakers for my desktop, mainly for playing pc games and listening to music (rock and techno). I wanted to go on the "hi-res road" to be more future proof. My choices so far are S360DB, S1000MKII or R2000DB, with the latter being the option if I don't go hi-res. I'm gonna pair this with a 48C1 OLED screen, to have the best of both worlds, display and audio. Any thoughts? I think even though only the 360 has a sub, I'm not thaaaat crazy for the huge bass, I like mids and highs more, although it could be fun in some effects in the games, like when playing Battlefield or something. But it feels like it wouldn't be that much usefull, only in small portions of the games. What do you think? Thank you in advance! Cheers
