A year ago I started painting as a way of meditation , knowing clearly that I’m not talented, but with time I actually fell in love with it, I paint whenever I feel stressed, so this year I made up my mind to actually learn properly how to paint and get better at it.

How do you blend the edges of the clouds to make it soft? And as well as the green where it should be darker? How do you blend them? Gouache is difficult for me to handle.
I just blend them together with a thick white gouache, and for the greens it’s why I got lost most of the times in painting this particular scene. The greens are quite subtle so what I did was just put it on where I can see it using the reference and then I just go with the flow. Just use it like a water color in your first application and then use it like a acrylic later on, don’t put too much or too little water just enough. Hope I did some help, good luck! 💖

May I ask how can you get the watercolour to get that really thick colour? Like do you use only a bit of water??? Anddd how do you gett yk like really clear white like the one you did on the mountain and the cloud edges, idk but my white watercolour gets really sheer and blend easily with other colours and makes it messy
You can use watercolor for these kind of scenes all you need to do is to not paint anything on the white parts. Maybe I’ll paint a scene with watercolors later on 😊 goodluck on your process!

Am I the only one who struggles to put the tape straight? Then again I always have problems with cutting straight or writing straight or put something the right way without being tilted or just not straight ugh...I think my eyes are the problem.
I used light and cobalt blue with the mixture of white to lighten in up more, white, and different shades of green. as for the flowers I used pale red,flesh,white,lemon yellow,red the mountains have gray on it with the mixture of blue and then greens. I wish you luck if you try painting it! 💖

Sometimes using a dry-ish paintbrush helps me!

Hi there! Im not using watercolors, I’m actually using gouache. You can also use poster colors if you don’t have gouache 😊

It will be better if you draw a border first before putting the tape, you can always use a ruler. that's what I always do haha
