On the outlining part your pen wasn't the problem, gouache tends to dry the tip of the pen making it seem like your pen is shit when it's not the case.

true, that's why i usually outline with the paint itself even though that's very tough...
May I know if it’s the same with acrylics or watercolor? I noticed it also happens with colored pencils :( do you know if there’s a way to fix a dry tip?
@@petitluna2571 not sure if this would work for on to0 of the paint but you can heat up the tip of the pencil to make it a bit creamier I’m pretty sure or it might’ve been to soak them in water I’m not sure but one of those could work :)
It keeps happening over watercolours for me and it’s so annoying

This video made me calm down tbh, I was just at Walmart when this came out and I have severe anxiety. Whenever I watch people paint, Draw, sculptor or even sew. It makes me calm and this made my anxiety go away 70%, I love the paint especially Ghibli Studies is my favorite type of anime. I hope you are doing well, wear masks! and make sure to keep 6ft away!

I bought this paint awhile ago! I love it I’ve had it for 2 years and it still works I paint around 5 times each month I have run out of 1 pack of white but if you paint ever hardens don’t worry water should re-activate it :)

Wooow you’re amazing with the color mixing, they all turned out so good.
When you went to add the varnish I actually winced haha. Just cause I know gouache reactivates with moisture! You can find spray varnishes that work better for gouache :)

So I'm looking for some inspiration and seeing if it's worth it and after seeing this I feel like its gonna be perfect!! I definitely learned some tricks and one I wont forget is don't put varnish on it-

This is so good! I recommend Pigma Micron Fineliners! They don’t dry out while drawing over paint like in the vid, and they’re just fantastic!!

You can totally refill your “disposable” microns when they’re dry with India Ink, over and over, which is cheap as chips and waterproof and goes over gouache. Don’t even worry about if they’ll get ruined, you were going to throw them out anyways, weren’t you? 😜 Check TheFrugalCrafter’s video or others on how to do it if you want (but just use some pliers on the top silver nib, pops it off, drip the ink in and close, it’s easy as pie!) 🤗🤗🤗
Or.... just get the India ink and use a dip/calligraphy 🖊 pen and nib... you’ll love it and be so good at it with your style... and it’s also pretty cheap to buy the basic supplies 🤗🤗🤗
