Tracing isnt bad its basically getting the outline done faster tracing doesnt make ur ability in art bad but nor will it make ur art improve. Soo tracing isnt bad🤗
i dont sketch perfectly, i just do a rough sketch and erase them with a kneadable eraser and outline them so it looks perfect. i used to practice how to sketch a lot from pinterest and youtube too if you’re wondering. thankyou so much anyway!

I would highly recommend drafting specific tape if you want to avoid peeling off layers of paper. I use Mr. Pen and it's enough to get clean lines, stop the paper from buckling, and easy to peel off with zero residues. Also, let me get you hooked on pentel brush pens because it will save you so much time on line work and having to draw teenie tally marks on the tape. Otherwise AMAZINNGGGG.

I have doubttt! How do you darken the shades of colours? For the shadows? Especially for the skin colour ;_; BY THE WAY I LOVED ALLL THREE OF THEM! They are sooo prettyy!
for the shadows, i always add more colour into the paint ( ex: mix white and brown for the skintone, and just add more brown or red yellow to the paint, dont add black to darken your colours because it’ll look dirty ) hope it helps and THANKYOU SO MUCH😩🤍

A little tip to keep your paint from drying up so quickly would be spraying water so it stays moist while you paint.
