How much heavier is it compared to the „original vanguard“? And is it also a good option for future shiai? I couldnt decide between the two for my first bogu! Any advice to help me devide?
(PS: I would go to the sentinel but dont have the „time“ to wait for 16 weeks 😂)
Weight wise it is about the same as the Original VANGUARD- which is to say it’s very light weight, despite being protective, which is exactly how we’ve designed it.
It’s a fantastic choice for Shiai as well as practice as it is also light, comfortable, and looks good too. I’ve used it myself in Shiai in the past. It’s a great all round choice as a first set 👍

What about the do?
It's a regular 50pc synthetic Do as standard ;)
Total bogu weight?
It depends on the size, but usually around 4kg in total 😉
