Robin, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your content! As a female barber I depend on reviews like yours to educate myself and recommend my clients the best products. Thank you!
thanks for the shout-out to your female viewers a 5:22! My hair is a fair bit shorter than yours, and ultra-fine, so it's a bit of a nightmare learning how to style it when so many women's styling tops are about getting waist length beach waves. Your videos are a massive help
@@ManForHimself Kevin Murphy, Aveda, and Baxter of California. I got fine and limp hair. Something with strong hold that doesn't weigh down my hair would be amazing.
For me in terms of pomades I really like the unorthodox water based pomades because you can easily work them back in and washes out very easily. I am really liking crystal lake because you can do some modern styles or classic style with this pomade.
I’ve been using this Shea butter pomade that’s quite nice called Cantu, just randomly bought it on ASOS just to give pomades a try. Typically a clay man. Apply it pretty much when I’m out the shower. It gives my hair some curly/wavey texture, which is an achievement because my hair is straight as grass 😂
Thanks for the video. My Holy Grail product for slick looks is Dapper Dan Heavy Hold Pomade. Extremely high shine, Lanolin based, no Petroleum and very easy wash out!
Hi Robin, do you think this is the best pomade for swept back hair with longer lengths? I have a wedding and sorta longer hair and was thinking about shear revival's Grey Ghost, but maybe this is better...what do you think?
Can you do a video on best products for texture? I'm looking for products that enhance very fine, straight hair but it's hard to find what products are best
Hello Robin! Hope your absolutely fine. It would be very helpful if you could do a brand battle between Arcadian matte paste and Crafted matte paste. As both of the product are quite similar
Hello OH Hi Robin can i use bumble and bumble go big thickness spray and bumble and bumble mouse plus nioxidin 3d boost thx all in one and mix it in hands for humongous volume and thickness and how do i do it?
I don't know how you do it Robin... But it both seems and looks like you've mastered the perfection of multi tasking with no trouble at all Envy you a lot, haha Great tutorial, and thanks aw always for the quality content. We can always count on you!
Love your videos, I legit watch them all and have learned so much. Quick question for you though, I have nearly the EXACT same hair type as you - fine but tons of it. I am at 7 months with my sides and back and 13+ on top from my undercut I grew out. I am deep in the awk stage and am struggling immensely with my sides (right by the ears) curling up awkwardly and being completely unmanageable..even with a hat. I know to use a pomade at this stage but what kind of prestyle and post hair dying products would you recommend to help this? I'm ideally going for you #4 Pomp style right now. Cheers!
Can u make a video on styling without heat? Like sometimes we are in a hurry or days we don't want to use heat or we r too lazy, and on those days, without blow drying, what kind of styles we can do? Pls provide styles with both matte and shine finish🙏
Hey @Robin James, can you recommend a product alternative to Morris Motley? I feel like their quality has gone down and the price is more expensive than ever
I was wondering how do you tell if a prestyler will protect you from a hair dryer? Like I know you have used bumble and bumble tonic lotion as one with a hairdryer. But it doesn't say anywhere on the bottle about using it with a hairdryer. So is there certain ingredients you look for to tell if it will protect you from heat? Edit: or is there a general rule where if it says it is a prestyler it will protect you from heat?
if you cut your hair a couple of times per year and don't have crazy bleached hair, blowdrying isn't really gonna do any noticable damage to your hair!
First time view, really enjoyed your presentation style. Please could you do a video on curly hair products. Left my hair to grow out, now 18 months in, beautiful curly locks but have no idea how to tame it.
@@ManForHimself I've been using the TIGI Matte Manipulator for years and looking to switch as I think my hair has gotten too used to it and I'm getting diminished returns. Have you ever heard about how hair can get used to a product?
A good shampoo always does the trick but if you don't wanna do that put some conditioner in your hair, let it sit for just about 5 to 10 minutes then wash it out.

Do the hairspray guide, Robin please! Wella Silvikrin Classic Hairspray is not sold in the US
What are the main brands you use?

@@lIllIllllIlllIll little bit expensive for only hairspray 😂 cheaper is effective as those or even better

HUGE fan of Crystal Lake. Great brand.
Crystal lake is my favorite product ever. No exaggerating
This channel should have a million subscribers!
Omg you literally put so much product in your hair in this video. I only use a coin size when I style my hair. Just a little bit on top.

Ah yes... Just another Quality video from Robin...❤️

Can you do a video on hairstyles for men with thinning hair / balding heads please.
Robin great vid as always, as have the same hair type to so you've made it easier for me to show it off, thanks!
is it ok to combine pre-stylers ? if i want volume+texture can i use 2 products without them clashing with each other ? or even more ?
Can you do a video on best products for texture? I'm looking for products that enhance very fine, straight hair but it's hard to find what products are best
You should check morgan's pomades
It's a UK brand since 1800s
Could you do a video about how to style with hard parts
Hey Robin, could you please do a review on Tribal Chimp hair powder? If it works as good as it says it does, I’d have to buy it myself
Oh, I don't know it! Will need to check out!

I have fine soft hair..... Can i use sea salt spray as pre styler and use Reuzel pomade for Great hold??????????????
Hello OH Hi Robin can i use bumble and bumble go big thickness spray and bumble and bumble mouse plus nioxidin 3d boost thx all in one and mix it in hands for humongous volume and thickness and how do i do it?
Hey Bruno, I'd say that's too much. Just pick one. They will cancel each other out.
You could so pull off the ELVIS POMPADOUR in my opinion
Please review shehvoo pomade!

My favorite hair styling product! Nothing beats an oil based pomade.
I'm growing towards them!
You are amazing
3:14 Did he just pronounce “Reuzel” as “Rowzel”😂
It's called an accent buddy

Thanks Raymond. Would love to do that too!
What is your top pomade/paste for messy hair? Your best reccomendation?
I hear Shear Revival Northen Lights in today for loads of texture. But I also chucked in some salt spray with a thickening tonic first!

God your hair is perfect and you always get It spot on. Good on you Rob👏👏👏
Thought you hated grease like the reuzel and the goon?
I think I mention that in the video. Ha ha! Or I edited that bit out.
Any advice getting oil/ petroleum based pomade out of your hair? I loved using stuff lied Nu Nile but my pillow covers didnt

You don’t have an idea how much heterosexual souls your saving with your knowledge 😅 thank you 🙏🏼
I ordered goon grease but I didn’t like how they sent me a tarot card in the package. I threw everything away.
Why only oil based? Title should mention that only grease used and not unorthodox pomades
Sorry, unsure what you're asking for.
Do moroccanoil hydrating styling Cream Please Robin i love ur content
Oh, I don't know this one! Need to get on it.
@@ManForHimself it is my favourite moroccanoil product. Definately the best prestyler.
Any 5 best water based pomade🤔🤔🤔🤔. Plz reply
I get Gordon Ramsey vibes from these tutorials
Still waiting for Robin to buzz his hair😁😁
You go first. I'll be ready straight after...
Yeah pomade just doesn't look good no matter how you style it. In my opinion
Lol they all look the same mate
