Bro is a motherfu**ing LEGEND!
You missed two.
On top of the house you find the root cellar next to, is a duffle bag with a pipe weapon, some ammo, and a few molotovs. There is a felled tree acting as ramp that you can use to access this loot.
There is also a duffle that frequently has a Pipe Bolt-Action Rifle. You can find this at the base of the Minuteman Statue you find on the way into sanctuary. I always make sure to get these early game, as the pipe bolt-action rifle does lots of damage and .308 is fairly common and cheap.
See you don’t even have any in downtown Boston and there’s like 60 just there alone not to mention the 20 or so around the south end of the map
@richardkelley9380 he just posted a vid of that area today
@@Dino2GunZ I haven’t seen it
These unmarked location compilations are very relaxing to watch, I’m hoping you’ll make more!
More to come! Hank u :)
@@ThomasXplores glad to hear!
I just found this channel and I love your videos. Something about these locations in these games makes them so interesting to see showcased, and I appreciate that you’re not loud+obnoxious. Cheers mate
Appreciate that HC! Glad you enjoy the content! I’ve plenty more of these videos planned and coming out! :)
@@ThomasXploreswondering what mod you are using that marks the unmarked locations?
@@gilgamecha he is doing that himself with the video editor.
If you go behind the Abernathy farm Trailer towards the water tower-ish there is a pack of dogs guarding canned goods below a rock face.
Speaking of unmarked locations... it appears a nearby settlement hasnt gotten your help yet. Here, let me mark the location on your map
Whattt?
Bra
19:57 Imagine my surprise when walking towards tenpines bluff and seeing a deathclaw running towards me. was not expecting that one
That's an unlucky encounter especially in this area! :)
14:35 Check the cockpit of the vertibird. There is a brown flight helmet in the co-pilot's seat.
31:38 When you exit the room you see a half destroyed door on the left. There is a first aid box hidden underneath the rubble behind the door. Only a corner is sticking out so you have to be precise.
41:16 If you loot the items on the billboard, 3 raiders will spawn near the crossroads. You can snipe them from the billboard. Be carefull, they will attack Carla too, robbing you of a trader if she dies.
Brilliant spokes! Cheers for that, when I’m doing the shorts for this series I’ll remember them :)
On top of the vertibird is an ashtray and a milk bottle.
Carla won't die unless you kill her.
@@funki4896 Yeah I watched her get wrecked by a bunch of blood bugs earlier today and I just dipped because it was a new character. At 1st i thought she was dead, but sure enough she showed back up at sanctuary a couple of weeks later. It literally took her 2 whole in game weeks, idk why, but she eventually showed back up. She always seems to have exactly what i need for crafting. In survival mode shes the GOAT. Of course nuka market is circumstantially better, since it resets, but Trashcan Carla is my favorite wandering trader.
kinda killed her😬
14:38 Rare find inside the vertibird - a brown flight helmet. Other than that - I've been playing continuously since the release - and 15 minutes in already 3 locations I've never even heard of. Well done!
I’ve played for thousands of hours and I still find hidden things here and there. Love this game!
Getting Fallout 4 tomorrow and I'm sure glad I found this
Awesome! Enjoy :)
I love the game. I’m also from the area it takes place in so I’m biased 😂. Hope you enjoy! I’m doing another playthrough after next week when it’s updated for ps5
I don't know why you are so sad for the cat man that sells Cat meat. Based on what I saw, that camp is occasionally occupied by him, and sometimes by a woman. My interpretation is that the woman owns the camp and at the beginning of the game the engine flips a coin and decides if you meet the cat lady or the guy that killed her and has been eating her cats.
She also sells cat meat
Went in to comment about him selling cat meat. Don't recall seeing the lady. If I ever do, I'll check her inventory for cat meat. Hmm, never noticed any recipies calling for cat meat either.
I think just like the other food items the cat meat gives you stamina or something
@@joeyrinard6997 You can't cook it without mods, but you can craft a mounted cat head if you have wasteland workshop. On fallout 76 you can cook it in to Cat Meat Steak and it grants +2 Agility for 30 minutes.
Ran across the woman but no man, she had lots of cats but was also selling only cat meat like she had been raising them as cattle.
Great video man, saw some places here I didn’t know about after playing through 8 or so times, keep up the good work!
I've quite a few of these long form videos planned! So many places to cover, glad I showed you some new ones! Appreciate it! Hank u HoldenCox :)
God damn! This just dropped? This is a gem already, thank you so much. Time to learn about the hidden nooks and crannies.
All new content so you aren’t watching a montage of my other videos! Wanted these longer form videos to be unique! ;)
1:31 I have had two different encounters here.
1 being just a blown up ambulance with nothing in it.
2 was a scavver with a sailor's cap and an explorers outfit fitting a bomb onto what looks like bunker door, he's hostile right away and you have to throw your own explosives onto the one he set to detonate it, once you do there's a preppers bunker inside!! So cool 😁
I can’t believe after all this time I never noticed the trunk behind the Red Rocket near the water tower, and I go there all the time to get the purified water.
Love your channel. There are so many oft-overlooked tiny details in Fallout4 which help make up for the very thin main story.
I had never realized the mannequin with the stimpak in the heart was a Pulp Fiction reference. Is there a sign outside Sanctuary that says dead raider storage? You wanna know why it isn't there? Because storing dead raiders isn't my f-in business.
The teddy bear animation also occurs should you hand one to Dogmeat. Not sure if there is an associated skill or morale boost, but equipping a bandana on Dogmeat greatly increases his carry weight (even in survival mode). It must be re-equipped when continuing a saved game, but being able to place 100+ pounds on Dogmeat in survival means much more loot to sell & to equip your settlers. Game-changing early on.
The cat fanatic near Walden Pond just might be a bigger fan than you think. He's a vendor & guaranteed to sell cat meat.
There is a recessed bit of hillside forming a shallow shelter visible from the freeway overpass occupied by the gunners which is occupied by a pack of wild dogs. Guaranteed spawn of dog armor & helmet for Dogmeat.
The medical liquid nitrogen dispenser is among the worst bits of loot. They weigh 5 pounds and yield two steel. You could get 50 steel from the same weight in tin cans from disarming can chimes.
Looking forward to the tours of the Glowing Sea & Far Harbor (imo the best Fallout4 location).
Whoa thanks for all the tips and info! Brilliant to see, always helps myself and other explorers! I’m working my way through all of the commonwealth, series 2 comes out tomorrow and then it’s fort Hagen, followed by the glowing sea! I’ll have to get to far harbour too, excited to continue this! Hank u :)
it was nice seeing some of the locations with out them being blown apart from fighting raiders, ghouls and other nasties
For an early game min-maxer, there's a great spot between what you have as the Bloodbug Stash and Lakeside Parking. It's a collapsed house with wild veggies growing nearby, a small tent and a picnic table. There's a duffel in the tent and a cooler and some bottles on the table. Great place to try to find early-game mutfruit, corn, or razorgrain.
This is why I reccomend every fallout fan play on survival at least once. You notice so many little interesting spots that you’d normally miss fast traveling everywhere. I find the secret unmarked locations to be some of the best parts of the game
I couldn't agree more. I always have survival mode on for all my characters ever since i tried it. It feels much more realistic when you have to plan things out and you are not just teleporting between vendors and settlements back to back. The only time i ever have survival turned off is at the very start, and only so i can quicksave in vault 111 when i 1st make a new character. This is just to make sure the vault door actually opens. You cant use the beds during the vault escape for some reason. Sometimes the scripts get overloaded when you pick up the pipboy, and the door gets stuck. When this happens, even if you no clip out, vats gets disabled forever 🤦♂️. To fix it you just have to wait a good 5 minutes after you pick up the pipboy before you attempt to open the vault door. If you try to early, you end up bricking that character. I generally have survival off, just until i know the dang door worked. Unfortunately this means losing out on the possibility of finding antibiotics in the vault. But its not the end of the world. The preston garvey bug, or the codsworth bug are still harder to work around IMO. The gamebreaking bugs are the only thing holding survival mode back IMO. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and lose a lot of play time just to get an npc unglitched. Scripts are always breaking in this game it seems.
Awesome vid. You missed one of the best spots right at the beginning perfect for armour on a survival play through.
If you head down the hill from the vault as you get to the first little bridge into sanctuary follow the water line towards the robot yard just east of the vault. But follow the water line if you get to the mirelurks you’ve gone too far. There will be a a suitcase with leather legs next to it guaranteed. And the chest will have random armour in it too. Plus the military helmet you showed and you can have a full set of armour before even entering sanctuary. (The suitcase is very close to the chest underwater that you showed but on the shore) also on top of the root cellar house in sanctuary there is another duffel bag if you walk up the collapsed tree. Also not sure if I just missed it in the video but as you leave sanctuary there is another duffel bag under the statue where the raider and dog are dead in the road. Love the vids though bro and sorry for the tldr
Hey, you're doing a great job, and I'm enjoying your content! The mass grave with all the molerats I believe is a molerat nest. Your interpretation may be correct, though. Regardless, you earned a subscriber.
Hey Nathan! I appreciate that! Glad you enjoy the content, hope you stick around, hank u :)
Great stuff! :D I like that it's to the point but you spend enough time at the location to give it some feeling, and not a 30-minute video of 2 locations and a ton of personal lore.
@50:30 -- that's Mac's bar, one of the early-game random encounter spawns that burns a location. once it spawns, nothing else will spawn there, except maybe a robot death squad when you activate the Automatron questline. Mac is only there when it shows up -- after you leave the cell range he disappears. a similar spawn is the Longneck Lukowski settler -- it burns the hotspot, but the settler doesn't disappear. i still have that settler hanging out in the parking lot at concord in my original game save, even after about 3 years IGT xD
Poor guy still hasn’t recovered from his diarrhoea after three years 😂
That power armor at the crashed vertibird is always t45. I powerleveled myself in sanctuary with just building stuff to level 30. And it was still t45.
Can confirm, I'm level 77 and first time I've encountered it. It's still T-45
My favourite unmarked location is the cobbled together raft "house" off the east coast of the mainland. I forget the exact location but back in the day I downloaded a mod to let me turn it into a craftable settlement area with a fast travel location. It was relaxing to sit and look out on Boston
0:20 I thought of this basketball court corpse during your original upload but I didn't mention it.
8:30 There are also some black rim glasses next to the skeleton in the mole rat den for an early game CHR boost.
53:18 Earlier today I found landmines here and promptly got blown to bits.
1:04:36 I never knew of this before. Hanks.
1:14:35 Another new one for me.
BTW I like the custom location popups you added. What font is that?
Really appreciate you taking a 2nd glance at the video Shecklador! I think it turned out much better with all the feedback!
The font is Roboto Bold! Took me a good hour to get the animation/position and sound working together but worth every second I reckon! :)
Always throw any suggestion over, it’s great! Hank u :)
@@ThomasXplores 👍
I've been replaying Fallout 4 again, and discovering areas in even Diamond City I have never seen before lol. Your videos are awesome, brother, keep it up!
Appreciate it man! I’ve plenty more of these coming don’t worry hank u :)
the rad barrels showed at the medical tent is actually a random encounter hot spot
1:18:07 there was, not sure if its still around an Aliens mod that used that mech for the Zeno's to burst out of random spots, hell of a jump scare.
Skeleton in a bath could have been a failed attempt to find some protection from bombing.
Yeah, kinda like the little kid in the fridge.
Then too, there's also the ones that also have the toaster in there with the skeletons. 🤣
They should've had a mattress on or near the tub, like how its a method to put a mattress on top of you while in a tub during a tornado.
1:02:03 "Help step-bro, I'm stuck!" :D
Also: you missed the campfire between Ranger Cabin and the far end of the road bridge to Sanctuary Hills, close to the small island where that single bloatfly is patrolling up and down. You can find 6 respawning bottles of alcohol at the campfire, but beware of the random enemy spawn encounter right next to it. ;)
This is why I walked across the entire map in FO3 and FO4. There are locations and people in places not on the map. Sometimes you come across an NPC randomly.
0:40 The Railroad insignia is an image of a lantern. That's just a RR "hobo code" symbol for "ally."
Great video! I never even knew the workhouse in concord existed
Thanks Boaz! Appreciate it :)
Love this video, so many locations new to me! Thanks.
huh I had no idea that if you go into the Switchboard sewer entrance before the quest it's full of scorpions, I've only ever gone in there with Deacon and as part of the quest the sewer is patrolled by Synths just like the Switchboard itself
I’ve played this game since launch and not once, ever, have I found the abandoned shed. The only time I went there was for a sim settlements 2 quest and I thought it was just added by the mod
At the other end of the Gunner Den Ramp I had a chance to snipe at a Behemoth. It might have been a random spawn, but the distance was so great he never spotted me in sneak.
Very sneaky of you! :)
I don’t think Behemoth’s random spawn, they all have set locations.
So I've been following you step by step, some stuff I knew about but I still followed step by step for the ones I didn't. - The tire sinking. Well, if the tire is hollow and water fills up inside it, it will sink. when you put weight on it. I went to the settler spot S. of Walden Pond and found 3 dead settlers and some ghouls. The tall walkway going up along side the building is a fire escape not a catwalk btw :) - Great Video - Cant wait to watch for the southern sections of the commonwealth.
Hank u for that! The southern parts are coming soon :)
The raider in the bin and the settler in the bathtub are references to breaking bad. The settler in the bathtub is a reference to them trying to dissolve a body in a bathtub with acid and the raider in the barrel is a reference to them stashing bodies in chemical barrels
the room upstairs with the man and the mannequin in the bed + the bathroom scene might be a reference to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
As a player who very commonly scavenges the north/northwestern sector of the map before really starting a playthrough I REALLY appreciate what you've done here in this video @ThomasXplores.
I do want to add in, for the newer, or new players. That if you want to go exploring this corner of the map... you should go ahead and loot Sanctuary, and Concord first. There are much valued *lockpicks* that you can find in both towns, one right there inside the Museum doors, which will make your looting much easier.
😉👍
I also recommend taking Dogmeat, or Codsworth along with you while exploring this area. As companions can carry some of the burden, when you are carrying too much weight. 😉
Just... don't ask where either of those two *puts* the junk. 🙄🤭
Very good point about lockpicks! Some runs I find a lot in sanctuary, other times they can be quite the rare find! Hank u :)
@@ThomasXplores I also forgot to mention that sometimes I come across a pick there in Vault 111 as well. But yes, there is guaranteed to be a pick in a box by the inside gated door of the museum in Concord.
Happy hunting!
Thomas- Always glad to help! 😀
This was an amazing movie of the unmarked locals
Thanks Nakita! The next one is finished and will be out this weekend :)
@@ThomasXplores can't wait to see it
1:01:52 I'm pretty sure this is a reference to the movie "Ninja Assassin".
Anytime you can get inside of a crashed vertibird check the dash there is usually some sort of rare helmet in there for you
I visited Boston last year and it's so bizarre visiting a city you've only seen in a game. I knew it was gonna be much larger in real life but even still it managed to catch me off guard how long it took to get place to place because I was so used to fallout 4 where I could get from Concord to Boston City in a matter of minutes lol. In real life it's like an hour drive.
Please touch grass
40:09 I was LIED to!!! There was indeed a BATHTUB! MY DAY IS RUINED!!!
Good video as always, keep it up mate
If you don't loot the inside of the mole rat den the items outside will respawn every day along with the house items down the hill.
Fairy sure I have seen every inch of fallout 4 with how much i've played it.
the mole rat den has a guarantreed black rim glasses for a charisma suit
Literally my first play through I left the vault and went exploring up to Deacon’s Outpost and got killed by a dog. Like, 1 minute after I left the vault haha!
The APC near Sanctuary is among the first spots I visit exiting the vault. I didn't see it in your video, but there is usually an army helmet here. At 10 protection vs ballistic this will be your main headwear for quite a while. Beware of the nearby bugs though.
That third entrance to the Concord Civic Access is my go to location to farm a legendary in a new game. Only the radroaches can be legendary, but they're only two seconds from the entrance. Sadly it's a none respawning location, so you can only farm it once.
Just discovered your channel, and I'm already a fan. I love how I've been playing Fallout 4 since it was new, and I'm still learning new things about it all the time.
Also, what's the name of the mod that displays the names of the unmarked locations? Or is it your own personal mod?
Welcome abroad! Glad to see a fellow fallout 4 explorer! It’s not a mod, just some editing magic I do for my videos, although maybe in the future I’d love to make it a mod! Hope you stick around hank u :)
@@ThomasXplores just exploring everything I can find has always been one of my favorite things to do in the game, honestly. Same thing with Fallout 3. That was my intro to the series, so it ties with 4 for my favorite. Just curious, but do you plan on doing any videos like this for 3?
Also, you certainly have some good editing skills. It really did look like it was part of the game. 😅
Best of luck with your channel, and I hope it takes off. 😁
If you check the channel page I’ve it laid out with Fallout 4, then Fallout 3 then Skyrim locations! So I’ve everything, I’ll be doing new vegas soon too! :)
Appreciate that! Hank u
@@ThomasXplores I found you on a random video about a stingwing bus, of all things. 😅
For some reason it didn't cross my mind to look at your channel, but awesome. And thanks. I'll check them out soon. 😁
This is such a good vid bro appreciate you 🙏
Appreciate that man! Hank u :)
@ThomasXplores crazy this game gets better with every play thru I'm doin a zombie survival run now and this vid will be a big help
Skinny Malone ends up being one of the encounters if you manage to talk him into letting you and nick go. After getting Darcy to go home though
There’s a mod I use that adds 10 settlement locations including a few of these. I’m a mad builder so it’s a must for me.
Just a little tip for everyone. The access point next to the pelowski shelter in concord. That leads underground. U can see just b4 entering. There is a radroach just inside that 75% of the time spawns legendary. U can save b4 entering and farm it till u get the preferred item. Really good place 2 farm legendaries in early game.
Awesome to know! :)
OK, an explanation of the dug out at 20:40. That is actually a survival shelter strategy in real life.
By digging down a bit then putting a tent or awning overhead, you get protection from the elements, as well as some thermal insulation from the dirt surrounding you. You do not have to dig deep, just enough so your body is below the ground level (1-2 feet).
If it is an area that gets rain, you dig a bit deeper, and if you can not have the water run off you build up the base with sticks, boards, anything else to create some separation between you and the ground for the water to pool in. These are intended for use if on the move, and only stopping for one or two nights. If staying longer, you would build a more permanent shelter above. But for overnight before moving on the next day, these are quick and easy to set up.
At 46:00 that trader sells cat meat. I think hes farming them for food. Kinda makes the cat graves even stranger.
42:29 I actually got my first ever pie from that porta diner on the 2nd try as i was just passing by in late 2023. I wanna say Novemberish. Mind you, I've spent 30+ minutes at a porta diner real time before.
You forgot to mention the most important fact about the Water Filtration caps stash; The skeleton has a snubnosed .44 Pistol with (only a few) ammo around and it can be looted right out of the Vault's elevator. it's insane early game damage and a perfect way to get out of a tight spot with only a bullet or two
That area west of the vault (between the raider pylon and medical tent0 is a major random encounter zone. I've seen Duke from the Atoms Cats strutting around in his power armor there, and he helped me fight the raiders too. I've seen locked exploding trapped refrigerators there. I've seen those root cellar hatchway doors there, trapped of course (instant kill on a level one/two player). I've had the thirsty settler looking for a purified water (fallout 3 megaton reference/Easter egg). There's also a large chance of a molerat den spawning just on the ridge between the vault and that location, so a double whammy to deplete your stimpacks and your ammo! I've also seen random scavengers there, that start off 'friendly' but then suddenly go hostile. That shack along the tracks below Tenpines Bluff is also a super mutant encounter, along with the ferals, vicious dogs, and with Automaton DLC it's a robot kill zone too. I'm guessing you covered the rooftop stash in Sanctuary in a separate video? The one on the roof of the house with the root cellar behind it?
Yes they got covered when we came back to sanctuary concord later in this series! Hank u :)
(Subscribed:) love your voice and calm narration.:) I never get tired of playing this game. Play it daily.
Glad you enjoy it! Hank u! :)
I'm stash- ing this vid for later reference!😂😉Very imformative, i have played this game 100s of times and i had no idea about many of these! Thank you and earned a brand spankin new follower!😂
Great to have you aboard! Hopefully you learna good few new locations! Hank u :)
I was playing survival with 10-20x slower levelling speed and gave enemy 3x damage multiplier along with a few other challenges. I really couldn't stray too far and I found so much stuff in near the starting area that I didn't even know existed.
Tbh a few just don't count because you either encounter them by following the main or obvious sidequests.
Great video! New subscriber. :)
Why Hank u! I appreciate that, hope you enjoy all the content! :)
I found the railroad location with all the synths and named dead people after i met the RR leader . IT made the synths passive and i did not have to fight them.
The hermit near robotics disposal doesnt spawn in until you touch their stuff. Same with the raider shack near sunshine tidings coop
The campsite between drumlin and gorski cabin spawns raiders if you loot the chem box from the billboard where carla mopes
If you climb up the tree leaning on the house with the root cellar you can find a duffle bag
From the roof of that building at 29:33 you can sight a matress, a 10mm gun and a little loot on top of the house in front (other side of the street). It's possible to jump up there: go to the house on the right that has a staircase to a veranda, and from there with a few close attempts at a specific broken-roof spot it's possible to jump on top of the roof of that house that has a mattress/gun/loot on the other side.
(Edit: I'm just remembering now that you cannot go directly to this 'veranda' from the stairs: they end in a half-wall. You have to climb on this (a walled hand-rail, dunno how it's called) then jump diagonally to the 'veranda': it's tight but possible. What I called a veranda is just a covered 1st-floor in an otherwise boarded-up house. Then climb on its hand-rail (semi-wall) in a broken-roof spot so that you can jump onto the house in front, which is the one with a roof loot. It's not probably worth too much trouble, but there it is.. )
I will have to go investigate! Hank u :)
In the Junkyard, 18:23, there's a very well hidden duffle bag in front of that truck (or van). Dogmeat found it for me. It's very difficult to access though, you have to keep repositioning and trying to. It's not intuitive: pointing directly at it doesn't work, you have to point slightly downwards and sideways to access its contents, if I remember well.
Will also look at this! Awesome find :)
In the junkyard with the dogs near the Tenpines Bluff settlement, in the van with the first aid kit, in the front seat there is a duffle bag, sometimes I can get it without having to use TCL, but in most cases it is better to use tcl, because it's difficult to hit the duffle bag given the position... generally the loot is random, but if I remember correctly I find a weapon and some ammunition.
6:39 ~ Hmm, that trunk hit the ground at about 200 mph. I wonder what the story is behind that?
Do you use a mod to have the location names show up?
26:52 Behind the front door is a baseball bat - one of the best early melee you can find.
41:03 Thats where Trashcan Carla spawns. You can go straight there at the start and sell her the gold bars and get caps and gear.
You can take the concord access core and clumb up to the roof of the shurch - jump over. And take the Power Armor to use against the raiders in town and in the museum. You get a bit of unique dialog in the Museum esp if you bring a minigun of your own.
Rubber can float. But if you ever tried to ride a tire down river as a kid you will know no inner tube no luck.
46:00 doesnt the trader sell cat meat?
55:35 No key - Deacon unlocks it via the terminal. Scoorpions are replaced by synths during the quest. Normally you never see em. You used to be able to sneak in through the unpowered elevator but they patched it out. This whole area isnt accessable till you get the quest.
You really wander. From the name I expected a lot more Concord. Perhaps phrase it as the Concord Area?
1:08 Its been two hundred years - its more likely someone came in here and drank the beer after the bombs. Cigarettes used to be 'health' items - you know like cocaine. :D
1:17 There is a Gauss rifle that spawns thre ar higher levels if I remember right.
You missed a few things in Concord. Couple of things - the gun to the east of the museum is a silenced pipe rifle. Its the first silencer you likely can get. Also there is a snipers nest on the rooftops of Concord.
51:07
The NPC doesn't die, there's just multiple of these across the commonwealth and he travels between them. His dialogue even says he's a traveling barman. So if he's not at this one, he's at, or traveling to, another one. Sorry this is a year later but I don't know if you found that out yet.
Ooh! The dry creek shack actually has a couple of bodies tied to some trees you can see from the "window" that they take occasional shots at, assumably for target practice.
Didn’t notice that aha! Awesome :)
if you ever want to find stuff that you may never have found before its sometimes good to add a mod that shows up loot and dead bodies in a bright colour.. when i used one of those mods one i found various bunkers and locations id never found before in 6000+ hours of playing the game
Those 3 fusion cores just laying on the ground 🙄
fallout 4 still has some locations nobody has ever found yet..
Between the two dead settlers and the vertibird near Olivia there is a basket of aid items with some irradiated thistle near it.
WOW! Great video! Are these unmarked places the same as the ones in the long playlist you created on your channel?
Hank u! Yes these are based off the long playlist, however it's a completely new recording of those locations with new things we learnt along the way, so two different watches! Didn't want to throw the same footage together! :)
@@ThomasXplores welldone !
Codsworths box was in the house at the beginning of the game. HOWEVER, now that you mention it, Mr. Handy boxes would have been a perfect way to implement unique automaton pieces. Bethesda actually sucks so hard for FO4.
My theory about all the strange weird stuff. There is a prewar prankster, who is now a ghoul, setting all this stuff up.
1:18:42 Well the alternative is, there was no previous owner. And that seems more fun so let's go with a that.
Im curious as to why there are so many bathtubs everywhere 😂
Bathtubs and fridges! Are such an odd sight, I’m convinced it was cheaper to dump that to dispose of them right! :)
Well the theory back then was that Bathtubs and fridges were lined with Lead which could block some forms of radiation to a certain degree. They would be the only thing that would be able to sort of withstand nuclear fallout and waste
Love this game so much.
It's got so much character all these years on :)
Me too, my favourite game.
Awesome video! Helping me allot with locations I didn't know existed.
How to do go through these game files with an editor? Is that some kind of cheat platform?
The Locations are real and in game, however the 'discovered location' part I added in via a video editor for this video! Hank u :)

At the prepper house i think you called it right before dog meat stuff under the stairs outside is a toolbox you missed
0:04:34 there is also a wooden box with bottles and a food item in behind the caravan at the tire pile.
awesome video! you make fallout an adventure for sure!
Even after 9 years of playing this game, I didn’t know about at least a third of these locations, and the worst part is they are all around the starting area 😂😭
Always something new to find! :)
If you take a shot every time you hear the word "wee", you'd be dead in 5 minutes. Great video though. 😂
15:44 i think the name bin, bath, and body works best
Weird seeing those random encounter spots all empty.
When I visit them, there's almost always something (or someone) there.
1:13:21 That's a fire escape...
Here’s one I just seen last week while playing. I was level 150 or over, and I found a settler walking with about 5/7 super mutants. None hostile at first, so I watched em for a bit because they was near a settlement. The moment I assumed it was a merchant they attacked me and the settler took off running and they only attacked me and not her. Idk if that was scripted but it took me back because in the many hour I played I’ve never seen that happen.
Hi Tom! 👋🐈 I watched this great vid of yours, super editing(!), for a second time... there was just far too many "curiosities" to find the first time around, which is a good thing!
Reading thru all of comments, my contribution:
1. The duffle bag atop of Sanctuary house, retrieved by going up the fallen tree;
2. Take Dogmeat into Vault 111, go near the master locked unique Cryolator, tell Dogmeat to find a weapon, and he will retrieve the Cryolator. Not a great weapon, but in early access.....
Tanks berry berry mulch! 🤗🐈
I hope in the future to do a new mega video of all locations in the game and including many of these missed spots! Hank u :)
@@ThomasXplores As if you do not have enough on your plate! 🐈
If you go northwest of drumlin diner youll find a broken fence post,.. thats for sure an unmarked location based on these entries.
