Yeah, that's my usual reaction to legendaries.
Take that 2 shot pipe revolver to a weapons workbench, along with all the rest of your pipe revolvers, and put the best parts you can on the 2 shot. Also check with a few merchants - that 2 shot is a great legendary to start with...

(3:45) If you set up beds and other furniture on rugs, you can furnish buses pretty nicely.
if you go overweight and your companion is full you can drop things on the ground and tell them to pick them up which means you can have unlimited carry weight.except dogmeat

Like people have said before, captain ironsides would be an awesome companion. Like rl-3 in a way. It would be cool to use the robot workbench to turn captain ironsides into captain ahab.
Even though you have future Scrapper (perk) plans, when on dungeon, like the East Boston Prep School and you have a metric buttload of enemies, way too many to haul out ALL THE LOOT, use the in-house armor or weapons workbenches to scrap the overage (cheap stuff you were going to drop and leave) into components that are in the vast majority much more volumetrically efficient to tote home.

Did you mention you wanted some good legendary guns? How about visiting COVENANT and Vault 81. some good stuff for sale there. Deb in bunker hill sells the black ops chest piece and Kleo in Goodneighbour has some interesting armor. Kinda expensive tho. Cricket if you can find her sells Spray and Pray. Very nice submachine gun.Nah, dont listen to me, whadda i know?

@@ThomasXplores The chem station is your friend. You can make Jet, Psycho and mentats and radaway from hubflower, fertilizer, brain fungus and glowing fungus. Other drugs like buffout and med ex can be used to combine with other things to make new drugs Robot repair kits, are easy to make, and you can make and sell ammo for the syringer rifle. Look at the chem station, become a drug dealer sell stuff to thevendors to get the caps you need.
Second keep that pre war money. It is worth caps as are ciggiret packs, cigar and cig cartons, gold and silver watches, etc are worth far more for selling them than what their components are worth for scrapping them. It aint hard to make money. ALSO you can sell all those guns and armor you pick up instead of scrapping them.
Although you eschew stealth, is there reason not to at least take the kneeling position for stability (see how I didn't call it sneaking) to take your first few sniper shots?

Yes, I often loose the bodies it’s really annoying. I end up standing where I was looking in the direction but still can’t find them!

When I had to get the guidance chip it wasn’t in the cabinet. It was at one of my settlements under ground
A potential idea for a new series for you: the path not taken. In which you'd try the less popular mission ending options that most players don't choose and play them through. E.g. here with the Constitution mission, you'd side with the Scavvers instead of the robots to show what happens.
I managed to get a legendary auto assault rifle which does 50 per cent more damage against super mutants, was great for Revere Satellite

Unlike the rest of the industry that decided to reward players for their diligence and perseverance at playing their games, Bethesda is a clever bunch, and took the opposite approach. Rather than creating unique Unique Items or useful Legendary weapons and armor, Bethesda decided to insult the player and give them shit, crap, and garbage. A fine example of their philosophical approach can be summed up using the example of the "Legendary" Ghoul Slayers Radium Rifle/Shotgun. In case you didn't know, radiation heals ghouls , so using a rifle/shotgun that heals them to kill them is pure brilliance, and an even more convincing case for believing Bethesda despises gamers (and dogs), and will stop at nothing to make sure their games are as belittling to their players and customer base as possible.. and still profitable.
