Yes you can. But I purchased another small battery just for the fish finder and I fished all day and the battery never ran out. Here the link for the battery I got for my fish finder. Thanks for your support. Fish on! amzn.to/3OGMfVv
what about paperwork, do you get a title or cert of orgin? in NJ we have to title it just bc of the electric motor so we need paperwork? thanks for this video
Here in MD you need a title if you use a motor. When I bought it at bass pro they registered it for me and I renewed it for free. Very nice kayak/boat. Pls check the link in the description for the accessories I installed
I keep my 55lb thrust it is strong enough. If you put bigger than 55 like 86lb thrust it doesn’t make sense because you need another 12v battery to power it up. 86lb thrust needs 24v so I would recommend to install a 2.5-3hp motor engine and that’s what I would do this summer.
Hello, I purchase this kayak from bass pro they are cheaper compared to dicks and tractor supply. The rest of the accessories installed I purchased it from Amazon. I attached all the links below. By the way I’m from maryland. Can’t wait to go on the water again with this bad boy. You’re very welcome and thank you for watching. I’m thinking some upgrade this season so stay tune.
I have the same kayak and I purchased the same name brand battery as yours. But I purchased the the 100Ah. Do you think that’s too heavy for the pelican catch pwr 100? Also have the same trolling motor as you. Is that battery too heavy?
I think that is heavy to put in the battery compartment at the bow. But if you put it at the back you’ll be fine. It will affect your speed too if you put it at the bow especially when the ocean is choppy. I will upgrade to 2.5 or 3hp gas engine this spring.
@@bongcortfishing ok, you may have just moved the battery in the videos... but great job with everything. you made my decision on getting a CATCH very easy. Thanks
@@rayrivera2541 yes my friend I highly recommend this kayak. If you watch my lates video you can tell that it is very stable. The guy capsized his kayak and he tried to lean on the power catch 100 but I was surprised it did not flip.
Great video man! I'm considering buying this boat and I have been watching your videos on it. Very helpful thank you. 👊🏻
Wonderful video,
You showed it all.
Yes that’s my complete set up and for those who love kayak fishing they might consider this set up fish on!
Great setup!
Thank you
@@bongcortfishing just got my pelican registered today. Can’t wait to go out but I don’t have a fish finder yet.
Nice set up bro!
Thank you!
Nice set up. What did you use to remove all the stickers off of the sides of the kayak? Thx.
Thanks. I did not use anything it was just gone after fishing couple times. But on the top side I did not remove
are you able to use the trolling motor and fish finder at same time?

Hi.
Is there no problem using trolling motor with fish finder on same battery??
Hello, that’s what I’m doing no problem at all. Thanks for asking.
i'm back...what's the biggest motor we can put on this boat?? is there bigger than this 55 your using?? anything you may recommend??

Hi, thanks for sharing this vid. May I ask where you purchase the power catch from? Also, are you from California? TIA.

@@bongcortfishing no just getting all my things. When fishing season comes I’ll fish for the time in a kayak.
I will be fishing in a lake.
@@bongcortfishing I’ll probably do that too.
are you using 2 batteries???
I’m using just 1 for now. Been fishing for 5hrs and still got more power left on my battery. Thanks for asking.
