Using an Analog Radio and PC to make a P25 Digital Receiver

In this video I demonstrate how a Kenwood analog radio in conjunction with a PC running DSDPlus Software can be used as a P25 receiver.
The C4FM modulation signal behaves essentially like an analog signal for an analog fm receiver. There is no distortion or other changes. The only thing needed is a 4 level decoder, and then the codec package, which the DSDPlus software and sound card accomplish.
