As a pve player the pain to hear him say invisibility isn't that good.

With top tree nightstalker it is more consistent. When going invis with dodge you get about 60-70% of your melee energy back and u can create chaos with the extra radar pings etc. In my experience it is better with top tree for pvp where bottom with this exotic is better for pve. Also with bottom tree when you stealth someone you get grenade energy back so there is that as well
It only works when invisible, so this would probably work best with shotgun rushing, since your more durable and faster from HOTP

Imagine an exotic that allows you to shoot while invisible
Invisibility is more of an engagement/disengagement tool designed to give us Hunters the advantage in either getting the first pick w/ a strong weapon (sniper/bow/GL/etc) or vanishing when things get too hot so we can recover/reset the fight. The exotics that we're given are more or less designed this idea: Graviton Forefit = Invis lasts longer and recharges your melee while invis -or- Omnioculus increasing how much damage you can take while invis & giving you an additional melee charge but there's other exotics that we possess that work really well with that like Gemini Jesters obscuring your enemy's vision/radar while going invis (top tree void hunter) -or- Khepri's Sting giving you truesight while in your smokebomb (best for bottom tree void hunter for the additional stat boost/cloaking that happens at the same time).
By themselves the exotics aren't supernote worthy like Stompees or Wormhusk but if you tailor your playstyle and weapon loadouts to em, they can create this build that's pretty difficult to counter if executed properly.
Omnioculus is great for Bottom Tree (you could argue that it's built for it) but it can be pretty effective for Middle Tree. You get a second corrosive smoke so you can wombo more often and triggering flawless execution makes you invis AND now makes you have a higher resistance. Only thing I wonder though is if that effects your durability in your super when invis?

Using it with rat king apparently synergizes really well, since the damage resistance applies to all kills

If you want to use the exotic aggressively, use top tree nightstalker, the dodge makes you invis and recharges your smoke bombs which can be used aggressively
Yeah top tree is way more fun atm for crucible... until they fix the self invis energy bug :(

yea and he called invis useless....like invis doesnt take you off the radar. People use radar to find their enemies, they use it more than their eyes to find their enemies. Invis be given me easy slide snipes and ambushes.

When he didn't realize that he was using the wrong tether and that too on the wrong enemy subclass xD also, invis chaperone is the way to go with that exotic :D
Sir d you should try the frozen orbit with high impact reserves with a ammo clip perk+ a impowering rift= it one shot body shots
I feel like the exotic perk should’ve been that it stops you from becoming visible after engaging an enemy whilst you’re invisible.

I don't think invis really vibes with auto rifles. You lose your invis when you attack, so you need something with a lot of burst damage - something you can roll up to the opponent without them seeing you on their radar and be able to kill them before they're able to react. It's why I think Omnioculus pairs so well with breech loading grenade launchers. I use my Truthteller with Proximity Grenades and Disruption Break. I pair it with Thorn, as it cleans up kills very nicely, but True Prophecy or Steady Hand would also work well.
Rat King synergizes really well with this exotic

The real advantage of Omnioculus on bottom tree isn't the invisibility (though it's still cool as hell, right, Snake?....Snake?....SNAAAAAKE!); it's the stacking Heart of the Pack buff that makes this amazing. Usually, without Strength stacking, the smoke bombs cant regen fast enough to stack the buff like Tether kills can, but WITH this exotic, gamblers dodge, and a nearby teammate or two... thats potentially +3 tiers of Resil, Mobil, and Recov AND increased weapon haste (ADS speed, handling, and reload). whatever you WERE lacking, you dont anymore! Add on the Resist buff while cloaked and your team can be MONSTROUS in PvE and will have a sharper edge in PvP (two players with identical weapon rolls and base stats square-up, the one with HotPx3 wins)
Everyone's all focused on the Resist buff and invisibility, but pull your trigger once and both are gone (great for clutch revives and escapes, not for starting engagements). The HotP buff sticks for about 12 seconds, EASILY rechargeable with Gambler dodge AND cloaking allies. Stay in close with a sidearm or SMG in pve, and you're fearless in that fray like you're playing a berserker Titan who heard the Hive knights are keeping Crayola's new "Gourmet Cuisine" inside their skulls!
If people want to use invisibility, try Rat king + graviton forfeit with top tree nightstalker. The super isn't that useful, but being invisible for a lot of time gets useful since it's all about *radar manipulation* (let's be honest everyone sees you when you're invis) so you can push while being invis, or use it to turn into the escape artist, or just travel across the whole map while invis if needed, just give it a try it's even funnier with the rat king catalyst !

Smokebombs and tethers should detonate instantly when they hit a surface or person. Would really make top and bottom usable.
Tethers and smokes have instant detonate on impact (not on walls for tether), the only thing is Top tree tether has to hit a person to do it and also its smoke grenade ia a trap. Everything else will go off

Graviton Forfeit used to extend the duration of your x-ray vision for middle tree. Don't know if they nerfed that.
