For me the best version is Citra MMJ, very good performance and no stuttering on Samsung Galaxy S23 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Adreno 740), even with accurate multiplication and 4x resolution (audio stretching disabled)! The other versions are more complete and offer more options (especially enhanced) but are less stable

I'm using Lime3DS not on Android, but on Steam Deck. I have noticed the framerate slow down and speed up every now and then on multiple roms. It would be nice to see what the correct settings would be for optical performance.
Get a 3ds bro either modded already or mod yourself. Its so much better like yeah the volume isnt as loud as my s24 ultra and the emulator does look better and etc than a 3ds but the 3ds doesnt have crashes or audio lags at all. There is slight lags still on native hardware but not much espeically with a new 3ds model and new 3ds cpu 807mhz turned on. Games that have issues on citra emualtors have no issues at all on a real 3ds. Then theres games that dont even boot.

What's the difference between msvc and msys2 format for Windows? The only thing i see is that one has more files than the other. Is the code used in msvc and msys2 superior or more modern versus the other for compatibility?
I dont understand, Citra MMJ does allow you to use the 2nd circle pad and ZL,ZR buttons if you use New 3DS mode. i play Monster Hunter 4 and Resident Evil Revelations and even Xenoblade Chronicles 3D with the option enabled. Also i had no problems hooking up my controller to my android either

Even on snapdragon 8 gen 3 i had too many issues. To many crashes after a long periods of gameplay and audio studders i went and got a new 3ds modded and barely ever have lag in the games now. Espeically with setting the cpu to new 3ds speed. 3ds is better on the console than emulators as of now. Ill say the same for gba. It may seem like pokemon on gba doesnt lag but it has this visual studder that isnt happening when you natively play it on gba or 3ds.

@jesusemestrejedi2170 oh ok. It's alot more stabile than android tho my s24 ultra snapdragon 8 gen 3 all citra forks crashed after a while of play and audio studders etc. A real 3ds doesn't have that issue. Like ridge racer 3d has issues on the emulator but runs perfectly on my new 3ds.
@@robmalcolm8042 I, with hardware like your S24 and being able to play above 4x, would never play on the original console. Maybe it's some wrong configuration or heating, I play normally on a much weaker one!

Yeah thats why i went and got a new 3ds. Even qith snapdragon 8 gen 3 the audio studders and long play crashes annoyed me. Its so much more enjoyable on a real 3ds without crashes lags or games that wont even boot on the emulator.

I used the latest version of Citra MMJ and couldn't find a way to map the controls, neither by holding down on the game nor in the emulator options.
