Come to the US and you can borrow our Cybertruck! Do anything you want with it
Man just the potential of seeing you both in a discussion would be fun.
Kyle / Bjørn collab... we need this to happen!
That would be awesome 👏 ❤
He may be a bit busy with his recently enlarged family 😅
Great! What’s your address? I’ll be there man 🎉🎉🎉
Honestly, one of the best reviewers on TH-cam just approaches cars like normal people well done man, never change
oh yes, the only one where I am sure he isn't paid to say sth
14:00 "You could put a small Asian here" Lol!
Got me as well 😂
@18:05 That's a washer to the right of the camera! _NO SHMULTZ_ _Guaranteed_ Bjorn
It's "Schmutz" and it's German for dirt; schmutzig is dirty.
So Salzschmutzfest is salt-dirt-party.
But I guess you already know Bjørn is ½ Thai, ½ Norwegian, ½ German and ½ Chinese...
@@andreasbingkilvr6662so actually he’s 2 people
Tesla is the best car company ever! No maintenance, no gas stations, no smog checks, no oil changes, #1 in reliability, #1 in cost of ownership, quiet and 0-60 in 2.9 seconds like a $700,000 Lamborghini.
14:58: ”The norwegian saltschmutzfest..”🤣🤣🤣
"When I am driving wearing a hat - when I get older" 😂😂
You beat me to it..haha
It is indeed massive! Saw one for real in London yesterday, and there is only one word to sum it up Cybertruck, Presence. It is a most desirable machine.
🤣"you could put a small asian here" always laugh at your jokes Bjorn! Good review Bjorn!
There you are Bjorn , I haven't seen your videos in a while but I love how u review Teslas and EVs bc u actually totally understand it all
Never used the sturdy hooks in my life, but Björn always talks about them.
That's because some people never care about securing cargo.
Quality first impression as usual! Keep-’em coming Nyland
If only you could do a 1000km challenge....😂
I don’t think that is road legal in Europe
@@xXxM4nuxXxit is, f-150s as an import is fine. People do import those into europe regularly
Out of Spec with Kyle already done long range run
@@s.kxx1956 The Cybertruck is not road legal in the EU without modifications. Therefore I doubt it is road legal in Norway (Norway isn't in the EU, but they align with EU regulations)
Yeah, that would be awesome together with arctic circle trip + camping
Great video! Can't wait for the video about the Cybertruck in snow blizzard.
The virtual backup mirror is on the screen when you put it in reverse. It uses the camera on the tailgate.
I always love your content, Bjorn and respect the fact that you didn’t watch a lot of other TH-cam reviews… Now that you’ve seen it in person check those out to get information on driving and other stuff you weren’t able to test
The space in front of the center console is great for back packs and purses and creates a sense of openness - not really a waste of space. From the factory there are 8 tie down hooks rings in the bed plus whatever extra you attach to the two rails (+2 come standard). The front camera has a washer.
Saw it in Berlin last week, it looks insane in real life.
Best Cybertruck video yet!
13.36 I thought he was just going to stop at "big, fat American" 😆
13:36
Ford Mach e same type of door. Congrats for the new member of your family.
I like how you review cars. I learned much more about the cyber truck from this review. thank you.
Thank you for the video, and fully agreed on the stalks. Will keep my MY until they bring the stalks back!
There is washer for the front camera, also the rear camera gets projected as "mirror" on the screen while driving ( a screen in the mirror would make more sense for sure ) :D. I think the steering wheel make sense since its steer by wire and you never turn it more then 145°
Using a screen for a mirror is not allowed by the NTSB as default.
@@disturbed4733 Audi got screen only mirrors since the first etron already?
@@kenion2166 Not in the US where the NTSB has jurisdiction
@@disturbed4733 Which is why Tesla put a token mirror in the vehicle to satisfy the regulations, even if not that useful in most usage scenarios.
At least it can be used for looking at the passengers or cargo in the back row I guess.
@@disturbed4733 The funny thing is that the camera folds down and just shows the road if you drive with the back open...
I didn’t watch any reviews of it, waited for yours! Bjørn for the win!
Front cam has a washer.
exactly there is washer in the front camera !!
Yeah was going to say
Yes, but the back cam should have it too.
you are right - if you put some watermelons in the front trunk for example they will most probably fall off when you open the trunk at home 😂
Great video Bjorn. Look forward for you going to 🇺🇸 for more comprehensible testing
When Bjørn talks, Tesla listens.
ABC
Always Bjorn Coolest 😎
Thank you
I have one of the first pre orders, from presentation day
Who knows when I'll get access
Been waiting for this CT review. Finally a real review with none of that emotions that comes with fanboyism or TeslaQ hater.
Awesome! Thanks sir!
In America they call a 1.5 liter cup of soda for small, so there will be room for at least a small soda in the door :P
😂 let start with the fact that they don’t call it soda in America.
@@juzoff POP!
@@linnsoltwedel yup!
@@juzoff Depends on where you live. Most Southerners call soda POP. Some call it COKE. Most of us say SODA.
Popcorntime! Man, I can't believe you are not more excited to finally see this crazy icon! I guess you are quite busy these days. The big frunk looks great btw. I am especially excited to see the software and banana box test!
If you put in on drive, you get a rear view displayed on the main screen when the tonneau is closed
Yeah, a 2”x2” teeny tiny screen. Just put the screen in the rearview mirror like everyone else. Jeebus cristos Elon, some times you don’t have to show how rad you are..
@@memyselfundeye you know what's worse, our Renault delivery vans where I work have the nice rear view screen in the rearview mirror. If Renault can do it, so can Tesla, c'mon Elon!
This will carry a lot of banana boxes
I love the CT!! ♥
Tesla Bjorn... still the best and real OG
Bra jobba Bjørn 🫡
You need a test drive. Steering only goes 170 degrees full rotation so no need for circle wheel which blocks view. Stainless steel between pillars adds 25% rigidity. Add 4 way steering and by wire pretty nimble.
The rear camera's picture is constantly on the screen, but stupid that it doesn't have a washer.
There is a washer for the front cam but unfortunately there is none for the rear cam.
Oh how i wanted to see you to review this car!
@11:34 you just solve my problem on my Scion XB .....magnets !!!!
CT arrived DownUnder last week in Sydney. Coming to a State near you, you and you!
It’s funny about the Grab handles… I noticed seems to be a universal European thing but I don’t think I ever use the handles getting out of the car but seeing as well I’m about to hit 70 that may change
My mother in law is 81 years old and some handles would be quite a nice help for her to get in and out of my model 3.
Oh yeah! Bjorn meets the cybertruck! 🍿
Tesla is touring a cybertruck in europe (sweden and norway at least). So not for driving, just for show.
Yep, saw it IRL this past saturday. It certainly looks like no other car, but thats of course no surprise after seeing pictures of it for so long.
Saw it at Westfield in the UK on Tuesday, just for show couldn't even sit in it.
Good to see the recall rivet fitted to the accelerator pedal in your review! Did you notice it?
the reversing camera can be used as the rear view mirror, displayed on the main screen. The front camera does have a washer to clean it, rear does not. The steering wheel does not need to be turned like a normal car as there is no direct connection from steering wheel to the wheels. That may change your mind on the steering wheel shape and also the indicator buttons as you don't have to make full turns to go round roundabouts.
There is a washer in the front of the camera, just not the rear where it’s much needed! Just an FYI!
the cosy little death star from the dark side has finally landed on the our dark shores
Just gathering data and observing for now.
How did that thing get there 😂
do you know how long the robot will stay there?
Yesterday went to Westfield shopping center, London to see the Cybertruck. Its a monster of a truck. Interesting they seem to have more than 1 in Europe unless this was filmed a while back.
There were pics with a full auto transporter of them. So probably like a half a dozen cars if not more coming.
Listen to your Uncle Bjorn!
Endelig isofix i midten 🎉💯
I just WANT one here in Australia 🇦🇺
TESLA!!! LET BJORN DRIVE IT 1000KM!!!
And how do you plan to charge on CCS ?
I see Bjorn making the carrot 🥕 test....😁
which is historical already…
@@BennoBosinski 🤣
Front camera has flushing option, it is above the camera!
Rear view camera shows on screen when in drive mode and can be moved around the screen.
There is a washer for front camera only.
When the truck is in drive there is a rearview camera on screen at all times. That replaces the mirror.
No, it doesn't, it's not the same thing. Rear view mirror checking it's a reflex and also in a mirror you notice movement or flashes and less so on a screen. Try to drive a car with the driver position on the other side that you usually drive and see if you look in the inside rear view mirror which is on the other side that you are used to.
You must have had a bad button on the Highland. In my Highland I never had a issue with activating AP.
Several people commented that their Highland also had bad button. Plaid and LR Palladium was not like this.
@@bjornnyland Maybe, mine ist fine.
The front camera does have a washer
That is good but a front camera is not really useful, at least when you have sensors.
14:00 you could put the whole country's TPS reports in there.
I ordered one in Switzerland. Perfect car when you have a large dog.
Again great video, also the EQ6. Like I have said before: hardest working man on TH-cam!
Just got order configuration link..
Front camera does have a washer :P
the frunk is at least okay for sitting in
12:04 björn, your total height 173 doesn't necessarily mean that guys 203cm tall won't have headroom: they have much longer legs, but their torso might be just slightly taller than yours. I am also "short legged", so I remember my ex-American girlfriend had navel about 13-15cm higher than me, yet she was half of head shorter than me.
Bjørn you don’t need to have rounded steering wheel in “steer by wire” system.
Don't need but prefer...
Can you be the first to test boat mode from Hovedoya to Lindoya 😀
On an interesting note, this was not the only pickup Tesla designed and is a one off that like you said is an icon. love it or hate it, Tesla most likely won't make another one of that design:)
Just curious whats the other tesla pickup they designed?
Bjorn, you could have just panned to the Cybertruck and said “What The Heck Is This?” 😂
Nice stormchase car, if it had some more range :)
Good review, thanks! Interesting vehicle for people that use it. I suspect 95% of them will just be used as a sedan to commute to work in, in the U.S.
Want a review on kgm Torres evx
Backup and rear view camera is on the main screen and the steering wheel does not have to be round because of the truck's steer-by-wire.
It is indeed the first car that is perfect for such a steering wheel.
Steering wheel shape is not as important with drive by wire lock-to-lock.
So a triangle would be ok?!
Yea at 170 cm I feel small standing by it even in entry mode.
When autobahn and wurst?
Was it also smelling like a Tesla or different?
Vs Hummer Ev?
Drive it drive it drive it:)
The backup camera is on the main display.
Das ideale Fahrzeug für Norwegen. Dort kann er seine Stärken ausspielen. Bin Mal gespannt wann er dort zugelassen wird.
Alles gut
14:47 They should make the sockets right next to it right there and put the whole plate open instead of making it two parts.
Do the “minuses” really matter with rear wheel steering and steer by wire?
Unfortunately yes. Peugeot's and Renault's have rear wheel steering for decades. ANd let's just hope that steer by wire won't kill innocents.
@@razvanlex You mean people electrocuted ? More seriously, plans have fly-by-wire since several decades and aviation if quite serious about safety.
@@didierpuzenat7280 But of course you realise that the planes have many fail safe computers and software, a plane costs a little more than a car. I'm not saying Tesla doesn't but from what I've seen Elon doesn't care about people or deaths just about sales. It shouldn't be legal to name an adaptive cruise control "autopilot" especially when it's not legal. So that is why some people died and why they implemented all kinds of penalties if you try to let Tesla drive itself.
They removed radar, which is safer and works in worse conditions than cameras, proximity sensors and so on.
Let's not forget that Tesla couldn't make a safe accelerator pedal, so let me be a bit sceptical about drive-by-wire.
They are trying to innovate and they do some thing wright, but some also wrong.
@@razvanlex do you even think before you type? obviously not. Why the hell would Tesla even bother to make their cars the safest cars itw if Elon didn't care at all about safety? why the hell would they bother to develop AP and FSD if they didn't care about safety?
I can see handles on a truck where you have to step up to get into it. W
The great thing about the cybertruck is that for once it's something I don't feel the slightest bit jealous of anyone owning something I can't afford. I wouldn't even want one if I could easily afford it.
Actually there is a camera washer in the front.
American Made panel gap 😂
I think you should drive it before you judge the steering wheel. Because of the 4 wheel steering and drive by wire, people are saying the steering wheel feel is really innovative and very good.,giving the feeling of a much more nimble and smaller vehicle. I also think you could get used to not having turning stocks if it was your daily driver, pretty fast. I would love to see a driving review with you and I hope that you can drive it somewhere. Come to the States this summer and check it out!
More importantly does it have the voice of Megatron
Right off the bat, it's tall and sturdy. Yeah, it suppose to be, it's a truck. Most luxury trucks are taller than 182cm, at least in the US.
I agree that the interior is too sparse. It's such a large vehicle that the empty space is just a little much. Sweet truck though.
Guess you don’t workout every gym head sees that space as PERFECT for a duffle bag.
My guess is that it will become a movie/series a car. From what I've heard, both the Delorean (Back to the future) and the Trans AM pontiac(Knight rider 80's) were horrible to drive but damn they looked cool. I'd say the Cybertruck is in the same boat.
On another note, going to see it up close and personal (that's the plan anyway) now later in May in Rogaland.
Unfortunately it's awesome to drive :)
