  • Today I went to Malvern, a famous hood in Toronto, to explain why the hood and street life should not be admired. I interviewed kids and shared personal stories and experiences.
Malvern is a hood in Scarborough, Toronto, known to have low income families and a high crime rate. I lived there from age 4-9 with my family, and then from 9-13 with my uncle.

Couldn't agree more man, I've seen too many young people lost in the Toronto hoods. It's a trap. Also quit weed for that same reason💯

Alhamdulillah you finally left hood brother. I find the accent in Toronto are pretty cool, some other people may feel annoyed by this accent. I can kinda relate on the accent too a little. From Durham, and grew up in a pretty white suburban neighborhood. When, I moved to Peel region my brown highschool classmates told me that I sound too white. Fitting in, was kinda awkward for me. It's a weird position to be in because, it was hard to relate with white kids beacuse, I wasn't white like them but, also couldn't fit in with my own ethnicity people because, I sound and talk too white.

You’re all over the place. First u started off well claiming it makes no sense to claim the hood, then u say things like being exposed to lamboghinis increases one’s chances to become a millionaire? Boy slow down

@@YushayWhy not both? Yes, having a simple lifestyle is recommended but, you also need to remember that the Prophet SAW and Sahaba like Uthman RA were rich while also living a simple lifestyle. Getting rich is also good because, than you can have a greater positive impact in the community. Just be sincere with your money. And don't be selfish your money.
