Today I went to Malvern, a famous hood in Toronto, to explain why the hood and street life should not be admired. I interviewed kids and shared personal stories and experiences. Malvern is a hood in Scarborough, Toronto, known to have low income families and a high crime rate. I lived there from age 4-9 with my family, and then from 9-13 with my uncle.
