There are honestly some pretty sweet condos along High Park Road. At around 8pm on a Saturday night you see so many people of all ages making their way down to the park or subway station, and the condos are full of life and energy and are clean and beautiful. Only drawback of the area, not really many bars or restaurants.
I'm currently planning on moving to the Lakeshore somewhere - can't wait!

Great overview, some minor corrections, Highpark and Bloor West Village is a part of Toronto, Etobicoke is west of the Humber river, so keep going west on Bloor until Old Mill station - cross the river and its Etobicoke.

I've lived in Etobicoke my entire life, Google is not correct on this as we only extend to the west side of the Humber River.

Great video. I second others that Bloor West Village and High Park are actually part of central Toronto. Said differently, these areas were part of Toronto before the amalgamation. Etobicoke starts west of the Humber river. I think Google steered you wrong on that one! No matter though - great video.

I moved out of Toronto in '87. I didn't realize High Park was 400 acres. My backyard here just outside the cottage country of Bancroft Ontario is 140 acres. At least it's bugger than Drake's backyard ;).

Don't bother with Toronto anymore, unless you can afford to buy. It's unaffordable, overcrowded and getting more dangerous. Public transportation can't handle the crowds and there's crazy people in almost every train. I recently moved.
