For a travel navigation app that you specify your vehicle’s dimensions Sygic truck- it’s got a free trial and full version is paid. Shows you best route according to your vehicle dimensions ( will exclude low bridges for example). Great episode
Excellent video from four experienced travellers. Yes one size doesn’t fit all and there’s no perfect setup I’ve found over the years. I like the motorhome if your touring and a caravan if your staying put for a while and the convenience of using the tow vehicle for sightseeing and commuting.
Really enjoyed listening to the pros and cons. We have owned both. The first was a fifth-wheeler which was towed by an Iveco truck. My hubby towed it and I followed behind in a ute with our dogs. We lived in it full-time and parked in each spot for several days. We then bought a Toyota Coaster which I loved. It was easy for me to drive and super quick to park and set up. And as Tom mentioned it was ideal for pulling over to explore points of interest. Easy to park, could fit into supermarket carparks. Really enjoyed listening to the four of you chat. Great video. Thanks.
Fantastic Vid Guys, we had a great time making it with you,.. will have to do another ??? So in the end it really is personal preference. Motorhome or Caravan.
I laughed at your Tom Tom... we have a Lynda Lynda - that's what my partner calls me as I'm the navigator. Great video guys, lots of pros and cons. We have a 6m Ford Transit motorhome and love it.
Hi guys, you and your friends need to change your insurance to FMG, it's half price. They insure vans and caravans. I have a small motor home and change because covi had gone up so much. Plus they will not pay the full amount if you break down. Thanks to the couple who told me about them. At least check it out. Safe travels from miss Penelope if you see me on the road ✌️
Hey Miss Penelope! 🌼 Thanks so much for watching and the advice! Hmmmmm… This does sound interesting! We’ll have a look! We’re all with Star insurance 🙏🙏
My Dad still call's his GPS TomTom 😅.. it might actually be one, his motorhome was new in 2007. Sandy and Greg, Funny coincidence 🤔 our drawer doe's the same 😅, we use duct tape to keep it from popping open 😊. We also try to stick to the 2hr drive, have alternative places. Oh and I did find the Cambridge story amusing 🫣 (sorry). But Having driven it numerous times the image of the local's made me chuckle. Was it with the same Jayco? Excellent video from you all. Very informative, At the moment we're still team caravan, not sure I'm nimble enough to be clambering around trying to make the bed in a van full time. But a van like yours Jord and Tom, is on our list if we ever get off the road. We may consider going to a smaller 17.9foot off-road caravan we saw. But for now our club lounge 23 foot off-road caravan is home 😍
Should be labeled Camper Van or Caravan, and NOT MOTOR-HOME, Motor-homes can be much larger then caravans, and also of Motor-homes can have more space insider than caravans due to slide outs etc, many can also carry more payload. can also tow another caravan or car or boat behind if required.
We hope you like this video, leave a comment and let us know which you think is best and why!?
