    I got a feeling McLaughlin vs. Grosjean is gonna be a rivalry we'll be talking about a lot now that Scott beat Romain to their first win.

    I only started following IndyCar when Scotty and Grosjean joined (been a fan of Scott's since he was racing with Volvo). Very happy to see McLaughlin back on winning form.

      I've been to the Austin GP and the Long Beach indycar and honestly I had more fun watching the indycar. I'm becoming an indycar fan.

    Great commentary today!! I didn't really have any gripes with Paul Tracy, but Hinchcliffe did a great job and it felt like there already was a great smooth flow between the 3 main guys. It will likely only get better as time goes by!

Its essentially a form of entertainment not even a real sport. Just look at the difference in the capabilities of the athletes... Indycar drives have the same cardio level as pro cyclists, and the strength of hockey players.. F1 has the cardio level of a chess player and the strength of a tennis player... LMFAO F1 fans are so lost

      @@Kyle86910 exactly, the battles in Indy are actual battles. Plus F1 is literally won by engineers and money. 75% of the racing is just a formality. Indy using the same chassis and only a couple engine choices makes the racing decided by the drivers and teams on race day... Not the off season

      @@douglasmeis7482 there's a difference dude. JJ has only done ovals with maybe two road courses a year in nascar. V8 super cars are road courses only so Scott has more experience with left and right turns. Obviously JJ needs more time

      Johnson is well past his prime, he just doesn't have the pace anymore, he lost it in Nascar and never had it in Indycar.

    New to Indy Car Racing. 2 questions: 1) are there no blue flags? 2) who’s the driver holding up the leader in the last laps? I didn’t see his name on the leaderboard. Thanks.

      There are no blue flag rules currently but they are beginning to look into starting blue flags for faster cars coming up to pass. I think the driver you're asking about was Jimmie Johnson, he's NASCAR royalty but not doing great in Indy car series

    These cars still don't match CART series. Those cars were absolute monsters. Never forget getting AL Unser Jr's autograph. Never forget Jaques villeneuve gassing up his bright baby blue CART car. And I will never forget Emerson Fitipaldi saying this "get out of my way I have to go warm up my f'n race car" lol. After I got his autograph...there was a swarm around him. My father told me who it was,I was only 12 but I knew the name. My dad goes "hey,there's Emerson fitipaldi, go get his autograph " so I ran up to him as he was swarmed by 50 people lol you know....and luckily he signed an autograph for me and I ran off after. I remember looking at my dad when he said what he did and he was laughing lol.
