Lofoten ultra trail 2021 - The worlds most beautiful race!

3. time doing this 24k race from Barstrand to Svolvær. Was hoping to do it in under 5 hours and managed to get in on 4:20. My last record was 5:05. Perfect day to run on, but it got a bit to warm on some parts. Snow, asphalt, trails, mud, rocks... A bit of everything on this one! ❤️

Is there enough trail markers to follow or do you need gps coordinates downloaded to follow?

Trail markers on all of the distances, no need for gps. But you can if you prefer it, gpx. files are available 😁

This is great, thank you for sharing the experience! I'm going to do this race in June :) In your experience, are poles a good idea or overkill in this 24k course?

Oh, cool! I will see you there! Hmm, depends on what you like. It may be some snow and the climbing parts are steep. I don't think many others bring poles...
