These were the type of earbuds I used as a kid. (Cheap and reliable enough, one died after like 5 months after which you just spent $3 for new ones) Now without the headphone jack you have to pay at least $50 (the price point where you have USB-C, 5 hours of battery life, touch controls, sensors and acceptable quality) for wireless earbuds every 5 months, after which battery degrades to like 60% capacity and just doesn't last long enough. (Since they are constantly charged to 100% and overcharged when in case) Headphone jack removal was a huge cash grab.
All you have to do is get a FiiO Bluetooth nugget, it clips onto the belt, accepts 3.5mm headphones and connects to your phone wirelessly. It's like the best thing ever for people that like their wired earphones
