Obrigado.
I have a Photosmart c3100 series. I have tried hard resetting, cleaning rollers, powering on and off, changing settings, could not print a test due to it not picking up paper, and pretty much everything that the websites recommend doing. The rollers inside the printer, the first set are not spinning (the ones that are touching the paper as soon as you put it in the printer). Inside their is the big thick roller which was shown in the video and a smaller one which seems to just hold the paper down. The bigger one is not spinning. Resulting in the paper not being picked up. I do not know why those rollers are not moving but the gears are all fine because when i push it with my finger they move fine. The rollers do grip on to paper and i have cleaned them they are just not spinning. How can i Fix this? thanks for your time. If pictures or a video will help i can try to upload one just let me know.
HI ark50000. You have been fairly thorough in your trouble shooting. Please search for C02126558 on HP's home page or using Google search. It has detailed steps to take to trouble shoot a paper pick issue. It is worth taking a look at to see if there are steps you haven't taken. Please also search for C00870767. It is your printer's product specifications which details the paper weights and sizes that are supported.
justprintingaround The paper is the correct paper to use for this printer. I have used it for many years with no problems. I purchased some new paper at the store just in case it was indeed the paper that was causing the problem, but with no avail. Honestly i am pretty sure it is the front inside roller that is causing the problem. Or something with the communications between the parts and the circuits resulting in the printer to not turning on the one inside front roller. The website recommends cleaning the rollers but like i stated previously the paper doesn't reach the back rollers yet because the front inside rollers are not moving the paper to the next set of rollers in the back. Matter of fact the front roller isnt moving at all. Difficult to explain but let me know if you need clarification. The website recommends printing a test but i cannot print without the paper being fed to throughout the printer. I wonder if their is a way to modify the printer so i can bypass the paper stopper and manually insert the paper two the second pair of rollers in the back? That is my last resort before buying a new printer.
Thank you for the updated information. If you have tried everything mentioned in the document, then we have exhausted all the trouble shooting that is available as there is no way to bypass the rollers you mention. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Hi, ark50000 Have you solve the roller issue with your printer. My Photosmart C4385 seems has exact same problem as yours, coz i didn't see the big roller is spinning when start printing....
Wiping the rubber rollers on a 7510 with a wet paper towel fixed my photo paper tray problems. The rollers are where the photo paper tray gets pulled into the machine.
I do every step mentioned in this video, I can print the diagnostic page by holding Cancel+Print Color Copy buttons and I get that page. But my PC still tells me there's no paper and I cannot print any other page. Help please ! EDIT: I just solved the problem by reinstalling the printer in Windows. Just remove the printer from the list and add it again.
I tried everything but the roller that pushes the paper up to print doesn't roll it just stays still then it shows an error message saying out of paper
+Alex Alvarado #1, #2, #3 and 4! Please use the "HP Photosmart C4200 All-in-One Printer Series - 'Out of Paper' Error Message and the Printer Does Not Pick Up or Feed Paper" document ( ow.ly/XguDV ) as a checklist to ensure all steps have been completed. If you still are unable to get the printer to pick up the paper, please contact HP Support per the steps in the document.
+Direrum Dirennis Paper jams can be real or false. Printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The following steps should help you resolve the issue: hp.care/2k5Avj8

Shaznae Brown I’m wondering if there is a print job that is stuck in the print spooler. Please search for C02205477 on HP’s home page or using Google search. The title of the document is “Print Jobs from Your HP Printer are Stuck in the Print Queue”. Please click on your operating system and follow the steps in the order presented. This should clear that message you are receiving. Once the message is cleared please try printing again and please let me know the outcome.
I have one of these which I'm now using on a new computer and now I can't print documents in languages such as Bengali or Hindi script correctly. Vowels come detatched like क ा instead of का . Please, someone let me know how to fix this.
+Abrilpara2 When you started using the new computer, did you install the full feature driver for the printer? It is possible that if you didn't that the computer is using the basic driver that comes with your operating system. Please use HP's Printer Install Wizard for Windows to update your driver. I've included the "HP Printers - Finding the Best Windows Driver Using HP Printer Install Wizard" document ( ow.ly/HqWZK ) for you. The utility can always be downloaded from hp.com/go/tools. If you have the full feature driver installed and you're experiencing this issue. Please download HP's Print and Scan Doctor utility. The HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free utility (tool) that helps to quickly resolve common printing, scanning and connectivity issues. I've included the "HP Printers - Using Print and Scan Doctor for Windows to Help Resolve Printer Issues" document ( ow.ly/Arcmm ) for reference. You can also download this from hp.com/go/tools.
+Abrilpara2 Since you just connected the printer to the computer, please use the Printer Install Wizard utility I mentioned in my last post. That will give you the full feature software and driver. Once you have the full feature driver, are you able to print in Bengali or Hindi?
I installed the wizard and I don't know what other adjustments I have to make. I tried printing one of my documents and still having problems. Some lines com out good but others still is detatched.
+Abrilpara2 Please follow the steps in the section titled 'Unable to print with a Windows built-in driver (Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East only)' from the "HP Printers - Printer Problems after Upgrading to Windows 10" document ( ow.ly/X3axs ). I am presuming that you are in area of the world that is mentioned in the section title. I know you may have already completed some of the steps suggested, but let's try them again please. My other thought is we are dealing with a print quality issue, and not a driver issue. I've included the "HP Photosmart C4200 All-in-One Series - Streaks or Lines in Printed Output" document ( ow.ly/X3bUn ). It is the best document to start with for print quality issues.
I HATE HATE HATE HATE HP printers. I've had nothing but trouble with them. Cannon IS the way to go. My HP's are never reliable. Whenever I really need something important printed quick they always fail. My c4385 was the best of the bunch and usually worked great but now it has all these physical problems with the cartidge carrier and now it won't load paper. I never touched the thing, or dropped it, it just sat there so I feel it's poor construction quality.
+Samuel Garza I've included the link to the C4200 Series User Guide ( ow.ly/UKGAY ). Starting on page 11 it explains how to load different sizes and types of paper into the printer. I hope this helps.
I followed this video and it did nothing. I called HP and was on the phone for hours with India Indians and they couldn't fix it either. So I finally fixed it myself. I unplugged all the cords and threw it (C4280 All-in-one printer) in the garbage. NEVER BUY A HP PRINTET OR SCANNER. Billb

can you print wirelessly?
idk its not working for me. im using photosmart D series. it got red blink. i even tried feeding the paper manually from the back, it works but it just let the paper through without printing it. is it possible to print by feeding the paper manually ?
You can try canned compressed air to see if that might dislodge any debris from around the button, otherwise the printer may need to be serviced.
