This guy is a gentleman. He could have easily trashed his obsessed fan but he acted with complete class.
Sam I Am Hey Sam, I agree he certainly was a classy gentleman about it. To your point I’ve noticed that the country stars more than not typically carry themselves in such a manner. It was mentioned also that after his concerts he hangs around to sign each and every autograph for all the people that may be seeking one. That’s Class personified!! He’s a guy that obviously appreciates the status and stardom he’s achieved and feels he owes it to his fans to show his appreciation. Show me other musicians that care enough to go that extra mile for their fans. I’m sure some others do but their far and few between I’m betting. As to this loon? Just WOW. She has a husband at home with 2 kids, she has the autograph he had signed on her upper back tattooed into her skin, she drove around gown with Mrs. Kip on her front windshield and Marry Me Kip on her rear window. As some had asked her “ What are you 12 “ ? I always look into those type of people’s eyes, check hers out, she has those wide eyed crazy eyes. Of course looking to her eyes isn’t necessary, her behavior speaks for itself. Take Care...

Agreed. She has legitimate unhappiness, and probably some mental health issues that have stemmed from that and he chose to speak with compassion.

Rosebud Studios In the eyes of (almost) every newsoutlet, good news is nonnews. Im sure that if he said: Yeah, this bits is psycho as hell!" She would be over the moon and it would spread like wildfire. Im glad Kip isnt taking any of that and keep on being nice and realistic about it. Never heard of the guy before the episode, but im sure it brought him alot of more Moore fans :).
Gosh, that interviewer is so immature. He seems so nice, he's trying very hard not to say anything mean or disrespectful about the woman in question because he's more sensitive than the lady interviewing him. That speaks volumes about his character. Just like him, I wish all the best to the woman in question. Her story made me sad.

Queen Mummy she might have been in an unhappy marriage, but you need to watch the Dr. Phil episode. She is clearly self-centered and vindictive. She is also a liar. I believe she was probably unhappy, but people who are sane do not serve restraining orders in order to sell their spouses belongings in order to pursue a fantasy of dating a celebrity.
she also spent their mortgage money on tickets and backstage passes for his concert. she actually was crazy about it. she went beyond being a loyal fan and decided to uproot her entire life due to her fascination with this guy. I'm not saying that her marriage was great, but she was unstable and it's easy to see when you watch the dr Phil episode. also, when he reads the statement kip Moore sent to the show, the lady completely changes her demeanor and acts like it was no big deal and that shes not really in love with him. but she explicitly said that she was and believed they had a real connection and it was love at first sight. idk the whole thing was weird. sometimes people literally are just delusional or crazy. men and women.

The interviewer needs to take a hard look in the mirror, at least the fan is attractive, more then she can say for herself! She spoke as if she was a jealous school girl. As far as the fan, she was attractive, but she was delusional and willing to break up her family for someone who would never be with her. I felt sad for her husband and her kids!

If any of you look up “psychopath” , both definitions have to do with someone being mentally unstable AND violent behavior. This woman was never violent because of kip Moore. Did she do some pretty irrational stuff? Of course! But was she violent? No. And yes I watched the Dr Phil episode and like I said, no violence; just mentally unstable. I think its okay to have a crush on a celebrity but when it distract you from your life and its become an unhealthy obession then its a red flag. She was running away from her reality and problems. That girl was wasting her times and missing out on other good thing that could happen to her because she spent to much time on a fantasy. They Shouldnt blame Kip Moore though because her problem didnt start with him. The interviewer was a little naggy about it and he seems irritated about the whole thing which i would too if i was him, it wasnt his problem at all.

She started off with this thinking he was going to talk a bunch of shit. But he was very polite.
I'm rooting for the obsessed fan and Kip. I was single, but I was an obsessed fan of a musician, met him and kept showing up. In a wonderful twist of fate, he was just as smitten. We adore each other still and have been happily married for 30 years, with three amazing children! It's a long shot, but it can happen!

Shes not crazy just a sad housewife that took a fantasy too far. She just needs to move on and find attention and love. Housewives start to be treated like moms and part of the house not women. He made her feel special and she craved more. Honestly it probably couldve been anyone who showed her the attention she needed. I feel sad for her and her kids and hope she finds herself and happiness.

Interviewer is not professional but Kip here is very respectful and honest to and about this situation. I have seen the Dr Phil episode and Im honestly impressed with how Dr Phil and Kip handled it. The obsessed woman is mentally ill and is abusing her family and more importantly her kids

The interviewer shows no respect for Kip's humanity. He doesn't want to humiliate the fan and he doesn't think it's something to joke about.

I feel really bad for the fan, it must have been heartbreaking for her to hear him disregard her feelings like that. Her obsession has brought him a lot of publicity. He could be kind enough to contact her personally for that and let her down gently and not give any comments to the reporter.
Seriously? This "fan" tried, without any encouragement whatsoever from him, to contact him constantly - any way she could. He (or his agent, etc.) did the absolute right thing- ignore the woman's behavior. Any other reaction would have made this situation the worse for all of them.
Sadly, she was (is?) clearly obsessed with him. SHE needs help. He owes her nothing. He was extremely respectful in this interview. What else do you expect him to do? Is every celebrity expected to respond to every fan in the manner you suggest?

The woman was having a crisis with her husband. She doesn't sound crazy in her interview, she was just sad and lonely and got attached to a tv personality like a teenager. It's this woman thats interviewing him, she is making it sound like the other one is this crazy obssessed stalker. He was very nice during the interview, honestly i felt as if this woman wanted to get something bad out of him and to provoke a mean reaction...
Gabby yeah it is so sad but he is a musician and she is just some fan to him nothing less nothing more. I mean he just saw her as someone helping pay his bills it is like going to a sporting event you can meet whomever but most of the time it will go no where and the guy or girl will just claim they were being nice. He even said that people have said he should not be the way he is being.
I mean I think though he wants to give his fan a rude awakening that she needs to stay with her husband and forget about him! If the interview doesn't do it I don't know what will.

This is what people forget about musicans and actors, it is their job to make you feel emotions through their acting and music its what they are good at. Dont confuse their job with the real person BUT they are human beings too. They have the same emotions the rest of us have. By all means ask for an autograph but dont think they have fallen in love with you when they pose for a picture. Neither party deserve that. Treat them with respect. They respect you to stop and take a photo with you so respect them back and dont do all "he saw me he loves me" psycho nonsense.

soda I have 2 close friends who are both really well known actors still to this day, one of whom I lived with for a bit. I was blown away by how obsessive some of their fans got. Both of them. It's creepy, borderline scary, and from both my guys experiences, they aren't flattered by it, they pity those people sometimes. One of them has had a wife of 12 years. Smh. People take it way too far.
That's really sad how grownups can act that way. Like I get really looking up to a celebrity and loving them but people has got to understand that being obsessesive to the point where it's creepy can't possibly be something that celebrities think well of.

And they just so happen to be well known for their work. They're not supernatural. And yes, a lot of times they are clueless as to why a person would do that. I don't go about gloating that I have a few famous friends and that gives me status. I don't care! They don't care! I love them for who they really are, and not who they've portrayed. Second, I don't know any real man out there, who would be ok with his girl, having some music star's name that she's claimed to be in love with tattooed on her permanently. I don't know his music but he's definitely a great person for navigating through this interview in a respectful way. the interviewer on the other hand, or rather, her employer, should reevaluate her skills or lack thereof, possibly consider some workshops or classes on mental health and some sort of refresher course on public speaking and engaging conversation in a more intellectual way.

I just watched a doc here on yt about celebrity stalking, it's old but really interesting, I think it's "Disturbing Stalker Documentary" or something. One lady on there was just totally whacked, had her name changed to the guy's last name, introduced herself as his wife, went to his work (he was a DJ), only wore clothes with his pictures on them, wrote him hundreds of letters, sent him naked pics, you name it. It's like it completely takes over their lives, the obsession is ALL they think about.
The only person that I've heard speak about this situation who doesn't come across as crazy is Kip Moore.
