This Exceed Designs ‘TiRant RAZOR-M 3.0 MagLock utility knife, EDC pocket knife & pry bar is CNC milled from a solid block of 6Al-4V Titanium 100% in the USA. The full titanium monoblock construction is built to last a lifetime with 4X custom N52 rare earth magnets. The ultra-light titanium design only weighs 0.6oz and works perfect for one-handed deployment. Our rare earth magnets are some of the highest grade on the planet with 3 color options including Silver, Jet-black and real 24K GOLD coat. (NOTE: 24K Gold may wear over time and may patina itself back to silver eventually)

I ordered mine and it just came in the mail. I can't wait to review it. I think it's one of the best utility razor blade holder designs ever made. The design is genius with magnets. I was iffy about the price because this is the most expensive utility razor blade knife I've ever bought. But I've looked at and compared it to others, and USA made with a lifetime warranty sold me. I want to see more and more USA COMPANIES thrive and prosper and I'm in full support of supporting USA made items. I put my order in today! I’ve had my TiRANT Razor V2 for over a year now and use it all day long in a warehouse setting. It has NEVER failed me and it’s as smooth as the day I got it. The quality really is the best of the best! As soon as I saw this, I had no doubt in my mind that I had to have it!
I bought and received this Razor-M before seeing this video and I thought I discovered the clicky fidgetability of this awesome tool. I should have known it was designed in all along. A fantastic piece from an incredible company. If you don't have one yet, buy 3 people will want these as gifts!
I'm from Canada but taking a trip to US and so I just ordered mine to pick up when I'm there at my buddy's place; I can't wait to start clicking it!! I'm a handyman, spend most of my time on renovations and this thing will be superb - it'll save me so many trips to the toolshed when I need to cut something quickly - perfect EDC!

I just received this knife in the anodized cobalt blue. The shipping took longer than I expected (but this was my bad for not reading the very in your face description due to being very exited to order) but upon receiving I can say this thing is absolutely fantastic. It’s true innovation in a very niche market. I own all the micro utility knives that count. From the O.G. TPT, Best damn EDC TPT slide, GIL-TEK R.U.K., The grail of all micro utility blades and the one to start it all. The Rexford R.U.T. These all ranging from $30 to $200 the R.U.T. Being the most expensive and for good reason it’s a true masterpiece from one of the worlds best custom knife makers. Now as for the mag-lock 3.0 it’s coming in at $95 made in AMERICA Titanium with a pocket clip and one of the most user friendly I’ve come across in this class. While I wish it performed more like the R.U.T. In a few areas like a bit driver, bottle opener, and sharp 90 degree corners that can strike a fire steel. It’s far underpriced for what you’re getting at $95 dollars. I’d be comfortable picking this tool up in the $120 range. It’s 100% U.S.A made by a small company with a truly innovative design that you can’t find from any other company. You’re still getting a pry bar/flat head. Which in all reality will work just fine as a bottle opener. It’ll pop open paint cans and do anything you would ask of a knife. The magnetic locking system for the utility blade is where this tool shines it’s fun, unique and provides a certain fidget factor you have to experience to appreciate. And most importantly it has rock solid lock up no up down or side to side due to the custom rare earth magnet’s. And for anybody that’s gonna ask yes the blade will rub on the housing. This is almost unavoidable in any micro utility knife. With this level of engineering and machine work there will be sacrifices in order for it to function properly. You’ll find this in a $30 Gil-Tek all the way to your $200 R.U.T but it’s a minor inconvenience with a high end utility blade and a honing steel you can get well over 2 months out of a single blade. It’s still a tool and like all tools requires maintenance and a little know how if you want to have that razor sharp blade all the time. All in all I hold this particular micro utility knife in as high regard as a Rexford R.U.T. And that’s saying something while it lacks in a couple areas it shines in so many more. It’s a true 10/10 tool. Just order one.
Thank you for your review - I’ve been using mine ever since it was released - I’ve owned the original without the magnets (which I loved too- gave it to my brother after several years of use and he still enjoys it) I think this utility blade holder is best due to its ergonomics. It’s tiny, it’s sturdy, it’s satisfying fidgety and like you said- the pry edge is a completely functional bottle opener. I’d rate this 10/10 even despite my only con. I ordered the upgraded gold plated magnets. My advice - DONT! - the gold coating didnt last a week (other than the screw holding the pocket clip). Other than that, I have zero regrets and love the design and show off my dumb Lennox gold utility blade every chance I get

I think you should make the magnets captive so even if they break ityll never stop working. Rare earth magnets are so fragile

i believe this would just be the nature of the beast with this style of blade holder, but does the blade edge rub on the housing?
It may rub, however it’s been over 2 months on my prototype with the same blade and it still cuts boxes ok. If you use a high-end blade, it should last fairly long.
I have one and it does. It is unfortunate because I fiddle with it and open and close it a lot. This causes the blade to become dull within a few dozen slides.
does the blade get dull due to lack of blade caddy?
Does the edge get worn out when sliding?
Ive had mine for like one week so far anf i dont think the blade gets dull from sliding it in and out because it doesnt seem to rub against the frame
Really cool design but I just saw someone post on Facebook where you won't warranty his knife he just got because it wasn't deburred properly.Claiming it has a lifetime warranty and not standing behind it is not cool.
Cool design, but I'm worried about the expose magnet falling off or getting damage. Also iron dust accumulating outside & inside the frame could be an issue. Adding extra titanium or carbon fiver scales would solve the issue but it would make it not single piece design.
I Carry this and the bigger one daily. V2 I think 🤔
Do you plan to offer Exceed Designs replacable utility blades?
Yes, we plan on offering gold and black soon when we have a chance. I need to innovate a little more first however, if we sell anything it needs to "exceed" so it takes a little longer than normal sometimes.

Ceramic is not magnetic. U can use ceramic in the v2
seems like a really cool design but hopefully doesn't dull the blades as you open and close it. on my tirant the blade rubs against the inside of the handles.
Hmm, your V3 rubs? I’d be curious if the cut of your blade is too loose somehow causing slop where it hits the inside of the handle. Shoot me a message and I can help you resolve it! - This MagLock does have the potential to dull the blade, but I’ve been using the same blade for more than a month without any issues.

Is the pocket clip easily removeable
Yes, T8 Torx and a few seconds. Easier than any of our other knives ever sold. The screw is also a high-end real titanium screw, so it can be used a lot without issue!

The flipper is awesome but this is a poor design imo the blade drags across the bottom dulling it out super fast and the magnets deactivate ur credit cards and hotel room cards and the magnets pick up all kinds of metal shavings if u work in construction like I do
All i need to see is that its easier to swap the blade than the tpt. I ABSOLUTELY HATE MY TPT, ITA HOT DOG SHIT and a waste of $85
