Hi there! I’ve just recently discovered this series, I’m going through the curriculum myself and having another persons experiences to look at is very helpful. What’s your opinion on the updated version of this curriculum (the one on Alex Honeycutt’s Gumroad page)? I’m debating if and/or when to buy it

Hi! Thank you very much for your comment. It makes me glad to know my videos have been somewhat helpful. As for your question regarding going for V2 or not, I don't really know how to answer. Personally, when I decided to go for V1, I did not know about V2 and I might have started with V2 if I knew about it; but I liked V1 and I also really liked the suggested time frame, even if I haven't followed it to the T. My understanding is that V2 starts with the basics of drawing before figure drawing, and doesn't have any suggested time frame for how long one spends in one unit. I felt for me it could trigger some kind of perfectionist trap that would not allow me to move on to the next thing... I really liked how V1 made sure to say, move on even if you did not master all of it. I also did not want to start over... The investment is not high and I believe Alex offers a refund if you are not satisfied, so you could check it out and see if it works for you? I also did not want to jump into another curriculum because I had made a commitment to myself to follow the curriculum and I was weary of jumping from one thing to another and having the search for a perfect curriculum to be a distraction... I hope this makes sense and I wish you the very best in your journey!
