yeah great drive,ok you have to configure graphics and controllers for best performance on each emulator, but hey if you used to them and you know whats what, and of course have a decent pc,then its ABSOLUTELY AMAZING for the price.A really great way of preserving all these games and various consoles .Truely a lifetimes worth of entertainment ....yes ive got one,ha can you tell
I would recommend to do updates on the emulators installed as many are outdated. For the front ends, you can update PlayNite and RetroBat inside of the programs. Not able to update LaunchBox as that is patched/cracked. With RetroBat, you have to make changes inside there to apply fixes on the emulators (upscaling, widescreen, video filters, etc). With LaunchBox you make changes inside of each emulator itself. Basically each front end has it's own set of emulators that you can update by opening them up and letting them get the latest update. Good idea to make a copy of the folder incase of issue, or in my case I copied the entire contents to a larger 14 TB disk so I could keep the original as a backup, and it provides more headroom.
@@ryanbrancelI appreciate the info. Have you had any issues with malware? The one I got has “DirectX Repair.exe” which seems to install a load of DLL files and xinput stuff. It’s probably ok but it just feels a little risky. The other “before you play install this” stuff was legit, Microsoft and such. The other concern is an exe which says something about “remote support”… probably not gonna run that one! I scanned for viruses and got no hits. Any insight and help appreciated. 👍
I bought this a few months ago,it’s worth it for time it saves me for having to download this myself,I don’t have unlimited internet and this would take me a lot of time to do myself
Just subbed! Great video. Just ordered one from your, didn't have the VAT to pay this time for some reason not complaining as it came to £136.03 with coins I'd accumulated
Awesome video. !! Nice background music !! Love decent game music !! Happy this video was long. How many different versions do we need ???? Many manufacturers pad the numbers for marketing purposes!!!
There are even 96TB hard drives !! However - it costs $5000 !! Please - don’t be foolish. !! Don’t spend $5000 !! Fellow gamers - please read all reviews before deciding to purchase !

Nice video, buddy. Would you happen to know if it's possible to take this out of the case and just install/mount it inside a regular PC and if so... does it have to be assigned a specific DRIVE LETTER, like D Drive as I think some pre-made others out there have to be assigned a Drive: D to it. TIA....
You may have had Steam open and had button inputs from Steam affecting keyboard arrow keys, which may have been making you move down by 2 games instead of 1.
So it's just a hard drive with tons of games and emulators in it? And you must use your PC (pretty powerful to run ps3 games btw) to run all of these games?
Yes it it hdd with games which you need to connect to pc and that's it as everything working out of the box, and yes pc need to be quite good for demanding system I will do on Monday games test
Prime day on Amazon was a couple weeks ago. Folks were buying gaming laptops with RTX-3060s around 5-600ish. If you're looking for a PC to build and don't mind a desktop, you can get a Dell Precision 3240 and put an RTX-A2000 in it. It'll be amazing with a small footprint for under 500 (if you're patient and find the good ebay deals under 250 for each) Connected to this drive, it'll play every game flawlessly. Another good option is look for the mini PC Beelink SER 4 4800U. It's discontinued BUT has 8 cores and 16 thread Ryzen 7 processor that can play all of these games flawlessly! Someone on ebay just bought one 2 days ago for $150! This was a $500 mini PC in 2023. Keep looking there are amazing deals if you want to build or buy a system that's affordable and can play these games. Make sure it has a good GPU or APU if you're going the AMD route
Yes the Retrobeast 96 terabyte for$5000.😂 About double the price my gaming pc and quest 3 cost! Even with 50 Vr titles and a few dozen aaa titles thats too much money even for me. PS5
Hello, i really thought house of the dead 4 and luigi's mansion arcade were included in the technoparrot collection. I guess it shouldn't be too hard to add a few games as the Ghostbusters one would be cool to add also. I had just purchased one of these but it doesnt seem they are on there
Hey brother thanks for this video. I recently picked up this same hard drive but I have not set it up yet. A few questions: Did you have to uninstall your antivirus on your computer before playing it says to do so in the instructions but I'm afraid it will load Malware. 😢 Also I've heard from other people that the Xbox games run slow, the DS games have to be unzipped to work, and the PS3 games need to be updated, is this true in your experience?
@Macktube I did not turn off my antivirus as I'm afraid of viruses of course ,I didn't update anything so far , I've testing out just the games which I've showed here th-cam.com/video/Ovo0-Pf4M7w/w-d-xo.html

dead nation was dope! I was part of the live action commercial, I was in it for like .02 seconds and we filmed that for 8 hours

This hard drive currently costs $184. A great pricepoint for the amount of games provided !
Really thinking about buying this. 💯
Good as a games library with plenty quality games 👌

I mean 96tb on its own probably costs 3.5k so spending 1.5k to get pretty much every game ever released doesn't sound like a bad deal
all depends on how you look at it.those old school arcade cabinets use to cost like 1500 for one game 😂 ps5 pro is 700 with no games 🤷
That is on my wish list.
There is no way we can play all these games in one lifetime !! Looking forward to Part 2 !!

Emulation is the way to go.
A lot of the copies are just different versions or cabinets of the same game like 1.0 and then they release 1.1 and hence the copies
