- A lot of people would be genuinely surprised if they knew how quickly they could go from broke to having a nice breathing room financially, all from flipping finds at garage sales and thrift stores. Today's video is a recent conversation I had with the legend, Steve-O. We talk about everything from opportunities to make some extra cash, to motivation and being comfortable in one's own skin. This was an incredible conversation, and I hope you enjoy it!

"Theres a direct correlation between happiness and accountability" Well said 🙌
He’s been saying for 10 years lol
Lol... Steve O learned that last week at his AA meeting.
I came to the comments to post this comment. Glad it’s here.
*GaryVee & Steve-O is the collab we needed*
🙏💪💪
💯
Pure bread is pure bread- when your doing it for fun there no option and you have zero expectations because now it’s coming from a place of love!!!
Pure Blood. 💯
Seeing KnicksFanTV in the comment section is the comment I needed. BRUNSON FOR PRESIDENT
I'm a fan of both Gary and Steve-O. Casual. But a fan. Never closely followed either. Never watched any long form content for either. That being said.. this podcast (from start to finish) is literally covering every single current aspect of my life. Down to the eyes. Every question I had surrounding everything I'm trying to accomplish is answered. Needed this.
Great comment
@@AuRowe thank you
Hell yea it's like watching my two alter ego's finally sitting down to talk about things 😂
I love how down to earth Gary is.
Straight shooter and genuine. Someone that wants to help.
Steve-O and Brandon Novak getting their shit together will never get old for me... I fucking love this show and seeing Steve-O just happy and doing his thing. His story just gets better and better... Its like a never ending victory lap!
Lots of great nuggets in this episode.. And to just pick one tiny thing to comment on I will use the very brief discussion about LUCK and how Gary talks about how people weaponise luck as an excuse to do nothing... The people who use luck as an excuse often fail to realise is that "good luck" is in MOST cases something we create for ourselves.. Someone who is lucky enough to win the lottery first had to go and buy the ticket, a football player lucky enough to score a try that wins the premiership first had to put in the hard work training and getting themselves into the position to score the try, the person who is lucky enough to find that great item to flip from a garage sale and make a $$ first had to get off their backside and attend the garage sales.. Luck is very rarely the same as a free-ride down easy street...
Whats crazy is that VR therapy isn’t even the future. The future is ai therapy. Someone is going to get a chatbot approved to handle therapy by training it on real therapy transcripts, and in the future everyone is just going to be paying like $20 a month to have unlimited access to a “therapist”. Any negative of removing the human aspect of therapy will be overshadowed by the fact that people can access therapy on demand and they don’t have to worry about being embarrassed or worry about their privacy or any other mental blocks that could prevent someone from actively participating in therapy.
No joke, this one tool (just the therapy ai) will likely make a larger impact on society than any other tool we have ever made. Especially because even people that don’t need therapy, could still benefit from therapy. I foresee it as a way to refocus your thoughts similar to meditation, and a way to perform introspection.
I already use AI for therapy. Pi is the best.
5 minutes in and Gary has plugged all the businesses he's involved in, without being asked, he certainly knows how to sell 😮
getting Stevo as a vayner speaker is a perfect fit. That guy is the autodidact in attaining attention automatically and acquiring an audience authentically allbeint always awe-inspiring
You're use of alliteration is ostentatiously outstanding.
When Gary Vee does your podcast, you're really doing his podcast
thats why he uploads it on his channel
"I'll explain." 😂 💯 Fuck Yeah. Get it!
Watching this will help anyone that wants to improve their conversation skills with a kind demeanour. Plus all the other lessons…I will be rewatching this multiple times. Cheers Gary
Thank you for this episode. It confirmed so many things that I had in my head and thought I was crazy, cause all my people around told me that I live in a weird world, and they wanted to go back in time and be stuck there. and I live in the future. Garry appreciate your views, and now i can send this episode to everyone and tell them , to listen to whats coming, cause i totally agree on all things future .
You nailed it by saying “near death”. People who come back with a long winded story are describing their self awareness from a near death perspective; they didn’t die.
This is insane the amount of true value must be exponentially high because the level of humility? compassion... iono what the word is but this mthrFin'G... thx
Gary is a master of talking about himself lol. Love him
Good Shit! Went coast to coast! Thank you!
I got an amazing idea from this podcast. And I want to share it because of Gray's positive outlook on life. One thing gaming youtubers can do is post videos on linking in with a profile that follows people from the gaming companies that they are playing games from. This way it's easier for those companies to see who to give sponsorship to.
Rare Steve-O teardrop 50:04
Such a good dude 🫡
I’m currently overweight. Have been on and off (mostly on) my whole life. My kids and their mom are eating right now and I chose to be the example and stay behind because I need to make a change. This podcast has been so valuable to me and I just wanted to say that I think I am going to throw on some GaryVee once or twice a day every time I skip a meal. By this time next year I’ll be a brand new man and simultaneously so far ahead in business. Thank you, Gary.
Why is there someone looking stuff up on the Internet but not showing that to the audience? I'm very confused about the point of that.
Great listen, love to just watch people grow. 🤓
Watched twice today. I appreciate the mix of knowledge and humor all in one package
Great! Empowering insights on financial freedom and self-discovery with Steve-O.
i've been watching gary since 2013 and this is one of my all time favorite vids of his
When Gary said "I'm like 'dedede' they're like 'dude' and I'm like 'dedede'." I felt that ... 🥺
I love Gary's energy around comedians
It's called amphetamines.
I've not watched your content for a while. Coming back to it is so refreshing. I feel like I'm seeing the "latest version" of Gary Vee. Constant growth and always something new that gets me thinking.
The story about Tracy had me dying because one thats the name of my mother, you're old enough to be my dad I really laughed because I felt like I was in the room. Great convo and really inspiring to the period of life I'm going through right now
Quit blaming others if youre unhappy and live in the USA. I quit the best paying job I've ever had to pursue my dreams. And we shall.
Future is bright folks
I expected to love this as soon as I saw who it was, but didn't expect to love it quite as much as I did. Please team up again some time, this was really fun.
So epic! Love you leading with love… also the humility about firing people was amazing ❤
Watched from coast to coast
16:37 Stev- O’s face when some says something he doesn’t care about and wishes he was the one talking. Lol
Listened to gary as a kid while playing videogames. One day he called me while playing .. and I took his advice so hard that when called me gary, I was already following your wisdom so well, I had no way of making that phone call what I wanted it to be. Now I live my life as if gary was to call my phone, what would I be ready to say hahahha. ILY man!!!

@@Hahne968 lol
Definitely my favorite video from Gary so far
Rare and intriguing, the contrast and meeting of the minds was fabulous.
Great Podcast 😎
Daily Positivity Energy! Thanks Gary!
Gary wouldn’t let them speak 😂
This was soooooo informative and entertaining. Coming from someone who consumes GV's content daily! KUDOS
Steve-O really has mastered the Small Man In A Box trick.
This was pretty good. Loved it!
Gary V is my normal go to content to listen to when Im working at home or in the car. Always good stuff to make you think.
What a beautiful episode! This was gold on so many levels for everyone. Loved how everyone was in sync and the conversation flowed so nicely. Loved it watched it “Coast to Coast” 🎉🤟🏼
Don't think you watched the same show. Gary interrupted everyone.
@@koondog2000 yeah I know that’s annoying, and Gary owns it. He has come a long way vs how he was in the past. So for me this was a good interview, conversation overall. Cheers!
Loved this episode and the way these three click. Just wish Gary V would let others finish their thought or be able to interject. Hard to listen to Gary V not listen to his co-hosts. Hime really likes his own voice I guess. Keep up the good work boys. 😍
Coast to coast and wish there was more. Love this pod
Gary is the most candorous in the history of candor. 😎👊
what an interesting conversation with such amazing legends!
Coast to coast baby
The evolution of things are the continuation of a beginning. Its all enjoy listening to your thoughts. ❤
thrift stores in Australia not anymore. they are super inflated, sometimes you can see its a $2 shop thing and they are selilng it for $5 in the op shop.
Much love and respect. Would love to collaborate. We did Rock the Bells festival with Wu Tang. I remember when Steve-O jumped off our stage naked into the crowd We love Steve-O and he is also an inspiration to many people in the entertainment business that proves sobriety can turn your life around. Much love from Linkin Park Family
The live buying shit from TikTok is definitely going to blow up in the US been saying this since I first saw TikTok do it.
I am amazed at the level of Spirituality coming through here! Completely unexpected and possibly the most important messages on the show. Thanks fellas😉
Ты права! Искал подобный комментарий, и рад что нашел, еще не все потеряно!
excellent interview fellas 💎💎
HA! I remember being in prison and people saying, "man your hair is really grey" and I would be looking at them like, "Dude! Your freaking going bald!" Never sweat that look, silver is cool!

Really enjoyed that and went coast to coast! 😂
Gary is the Don!

Coast to coast gang
So how do folks that hates Camera or doesnt can pay folks for camera do. or just want to be anonym? Any tips and tricks there?
He either said content or garage sales (I’ll check back & im leaning garage)
incredible.
If it was low risk & a high garentee you'd get your money back , I'd say you did well cause of the peace of mind that comes with that "safety", if you run a play with high stakes for a probability of a greater return ,I personally feel like you'd be much more invested in that with your time ,focus and emotions . Would that be worth the trade ? If there was an other option that was low risk and a greater return than this one I'd pick that one haha
This is great!❤
Love this ❤
around 1hr and 30 min in Gary just dropped the biggest bomb!! wild💥
you have to go back !! loved that 100%
It didn’t even feel like an hour and a half! I’m tracking! Ty!
There digginnng in Gary!!!!
BRO SAID PUT DOWN THE PASTA HAHAHAHA
REAL AS IT COMES PODCAST
Loving the flipping advice. What about when you gone from $20 to $10k.. What are good high value items (10k +) you can flip??
Used cars are a good one. Like buying locally and doing minor repairs/cleaning to the vehicle, then advertising it more widely at a higher price
When I was a kid (2000-2011) used cars was def the jam I’m talking crazy sh*t. Once I sold a car twice and was able to find an identical exact same dark green Honda civic. Paid $1000 way out in the country, drove out and got it, and sold both for $3600. But then Carvana and Carmax etc shows up and ate every little bit out of that hustle. Today w $10k it’s pretty tough I say hold to $20/$30k, then move. Start a small biz. Maybe take some classes. Could always put the whole thing s&p and wait 10 years.. or maybe find things to rent out. I would say sell random stuff but all the markets are kinda slow rn (Jan2024) People are either broke af or just hodling lol. I think small boats could be a good play done right. Big boy toys like jet skis, cause things are about to change change. We’re in the middle of it 😅 if all I had was 10 I would no way touch it might need that just to survive summer 24
“Become a used car salesman.” Oh my god what a perfect encapsulation of this moronic mindset.
Gary and Steve-O skateboard collab? 🤔🔥
not wanting to be "Woke" is a sad statement cause tha alternative is to be Sleep and Unaware. Ignorance is bliss for a lot of people
Great views man.
This is classic 🎉
That guy has a strong head of hair. He’s doing well
COAST TO COAST!!!!
Damn. You guys did really good recovering Steve-O’s audio from the mic not working 🎉
Steve-O "Kids are pets" Lmao 🤣
I hope you earn what your working for.
Gary you gotta give aj more than 15%, thats gonna create resentment in 9 years, listen to the advice you just gave😂
I’m sure AJ already has more money than he can spend. I doubt he cares much about the split, if anything he probably prefers the split this way because it allows him to shed some of the responsibility of being an equal or majority owner. He has the freedom to operate and take risks.
I think there is an ultra fine line hiring family and/or friends. Life happens, you just never know..................
Yeah I've learned some valuable skills and developed a work ethic while working for relatives, but I never made much money until I did my own thing. They don't want you to be personally successful and move on, they want to keep you around as a "helping hand"
What about yard sale off season? It seems like during the Fall/Winter months, yard/estate sales are very low. The only other source for me here is Goodwill and Salvation Army.
The fall and winter months are great for sellers. People are buying a lot more for themselves, friends and relatives around the holidays and because they don't spend as much on experiences due to the colder weather.
@@coastcity7029 for me, there's a drastic decline in yard/estate sales during the cold months other than the stores. I find it a good time to stock up on items for the following years holiday items right after the holiday passes and the unsold stuff go on sale. I hit up the grocery stores and Walmart for holiday sales once each holiday has passed. This can help counter the low sales from the low yard/estate sales during the slow seasonm That's the only benefit the cold months have for me where I live. Looking forward to Spring.
The strangest thing about Napoleon Hill is he was a actually a con man. He lied about knowing any of the entrepreneurs of his day. Which is what makes the contents of Think And Grow Rich. It's still principles in this book that have helped lots of people build financial wealth.
Dadadada DUDEEEE !!!
The goats
💜💜💜
Steve-O is still alive ? Lol holly he!!
Let’s go Gary
The fire under my a$$ is always smoldering but you both just ignited it
