You can now use TRAX instruments to make sample packs
It's with great pride we announce that effective from June 1, 2023, all F9 playable instruments and kits have been granted license for usage in the development of audio loops. These loops can be included in commercial sample packs designed for your personal use, your individual sampler store, or for third-party platforms such as Loopcloud, Splice, Arcade, NI sounds and more. There's only one restriction to bear in mind: the midi. When creating for these releases, you must compose original musical or rhythmic parts and avoid using any midi or musical motifs from this or any other F9 release.
This updated licensing term now encompasses stem creation and "track-outs," which are frequently seen in beat marketplaces. It also applies to ghost production and collaborative projects. Our goal is to provide you with even greater flexibility and creative potential in your music production endeavours.

Great entry level video James! I started with MPC Beats and last year I switched to MPC Software. It's just unbelievable how much you can do with it. I am in the process of mixing/mastering some tracks and will release them very soon ( I am taking a course from EDM Tips). Completely done in MPC Software without any external plugins (except Pro Q3 which you can argue not absolutely necessary).
I got so many questions and I also learned so much about the software that I felt I should share some basics. My first "tutorial" is coming tomorrow. Not as detailed as yours - but weekly 2 minute videos to help people navigate and find their own thing.
I have your Trinity and Ignition Kits. Amazing quality and sounds! Thanks for your work! There is also of course F9 Instruments Beats edition too.

Thank you ! ... More to come for the MPC Platform as I too love the power of it - so glad you upgraded as it really does unlock the enormous power of the whole system and I think there's more coming when V3 hits

Not a fan of MPC Beats or MPC Software tbh. Because it tries too much to emulate the legacy MPC workflow that you find on Akai's hardware devices, it falls woefully short as a modern software DAW. The MPC standalone hardware however, I like a lot. Love my versatility and mobility of my MPC Live 2. Got F9 Instruments installed on it as well :)

I can't believe how deep this free DAW is... surely there must be a catch? Track limit?
Also, the walkthrough helped demystify some of the unknowns I had when working with the MPC1000.

I know what you mean - I’ve worked with Akai and was amazed when they only restricted it to 8 tracks - Glad it’s helped make sense - it’s an odd system but works well and sounds amazing !

He only scraped the surface :) It's massive and I still couldn't learn all of it in about a year.
MPC Beats has a track limit of 8 and Audio track limit of 2 I believe. MPC Software is limitless.
