At they moment they have 30% off for the Hyperion Pro + Case bundle. Ordered mine today and I can't wait to replace my joycons with these. Thanks for the review!
Man, i really appreciate your reviews. Youre very thorough in covering the basic features. But you also cover things about the device that may be considered "niche" and I absolutely love that. Thanks for helping me be an informed shopper before spending my hard-earned money
Triple press the right turbo button to either turn off the face button lights, disable breathing or have it as static lights. Since it wasn't mentioned on the instruction manual for this one
Is it possible to have only the fce buttons lit? I dont like the LED strips and glowing joysticks, but i wouldnt mind a soft glow from the face buttons.
To me there's no comparison. The Mobapad M6 HD does everything these do and so much more and with no unnecessary RGB. The Mobapad also uses omron switches so MUCH longer lasting and nicer from a tactile POV (unless you have sensitivity to sound)
I recently received the green controller and was immediately surprised by how cheap it felt. Nobody is talking about how light this controller is. It feels like something from a bargain shop. I can't honestly recommend it with you've got the 8bitdo for pro controller replacement and the satisfye grip for handheld. I got this thinking it would be a replacement for both when it just kind of does the job okay enough. Had some disconnect and connecting issues when playing in pro controller mode, changing grip order, and trying wake from sleep. Also think the edges of the thumbsticks are pretty uncomfortable with a bit of a sharp edge. Finally, the whole thing rattles pretty loud which doesn't really help the lack of feeling premium. All in all, not the grip an pro controller replacement I was hoping it would be.
Hi there. Why would you NOT want it to be light? I’d hate to carry round 2 heavy joycon. It’s basically all the internals of an official joycon in a larger shell for comfort. As for disconnects and rattles, sounds like you have a dud.
@CTAtechdesk there's a difference between light and cheap and they feel cheap. The build quality leaves something to be desired and I'm really surprised not a single review I saw mentioned that. Just really surprising.
@@Ravenwritindesklight and cheap are two different things. I have the sand find that whole light, they are exactly what I want and not cheap. Heavy is not expensive FFS
Yeah what ? Texture wise they feel great. The back in textured. I don’t have an issue with the weight of them. They’re light. The oled already is heavier than the original switch. I would not be happy if these were heavy. Weight doesn’t equate quality lol.
They look fantastic but already having too many sets of joycons and being this close to a possible switch upgrade I'll have to give it a miss. Plus I've had random disconnect issues with my non Hall sensor hyperion when connected to the switch rails
Double tap t,hold t on second tap and click in stick then release. This does 3 different things. Lights on buttons, breathing lights in buttons then lights off.
love these joycons but the one thing no one seems to talk about is that these (when attached to your switch) wont fit on the Oled newer model docks. it seems to fit just perfect enough for the older docks tho
@@CTAtechdesk and its the newer docks? my dock is from the pokemon scarlet/violet theme oled switch from nintendo and its impossible for me to dock it. but the regular dock that i had for many years ago seems to have no issues 😅 and i have both the green and blue NYXI pro. ill have to find a a different oled dock and test it
how comfortable do you find it with the wizard mid bridge? i wish the stock mid bridge for the hyperion was skinnier it feels way too bulky in pro controller mode lol
Yes you can use these as regular Joycons wirelessly and individually but I don’t recommende these. Save your money. There’s better alternatives. I’m very not happy with my unit I just got yesterday, 100% going to refund these
Anyone else having issues with the right programmable back button? There is a significant area towards the mid and bottom half where it doesnt click in and register and instead it feels hard to push in. I already reached out to nyxi and they sent a replacement which i just recieved but it too has the same exact issue 😢
@INCINERATEDD I am being sent a 2nd replacement which they claim will have it looked at strictly for any qc issues before it is shipped. I may as well have some fun tinkering with the spares and see what I can find lol.
@@TheInfiniteNine that’s awesome customer service is coming through. My back left button feels king of sticky but not super noticeable. Really loving the reacting time of Inputs.
There's a way around 5his the switch button mapping lets you change buttons to the opposing controller all you have to do is change button mapping and then set up back buttons
DON'T buy these and fall the these paid reviews!!! Mine did not last 4 days!!! the railing is plastic and breaks if you look at it wrong. for a 70 euro controller it is a catastrophe
sold out for me trying to buy from USA. But I was able to buy one using my phone on the mobile site for some reason. /shrug edit: Sold out on my phone too now. maybe it was just coincidence that I was browsing on my phone and it was in stock that very moment.

So they both are pro, but the purple has better features than the green? Is the black and white versions the same?
I just wish they were red... 😢
Hello, are you gonna review the Mobapad M6S/HD? I'd like to hear you opinion on those an how they compare to the Nyxi. 😊
I’ll try and get them 👍🏻

would love to see you cover the mobapad m6 hd's and compare them to these as i think those are the best on the market right now.
They are great joycon. I’ll be doing it for sure.

Too many? How does this work? 😂
Personally I kinda like the green when the lighting is set to gold. I do wish they sold nubs for the right side.
Love these Joycons! I was wondering though, is there anyway to keep the ABXY buttons from dimming?

On my version just triple clicking the T button does the trick. @@Pokewoods-p9r

Feels ok. I prefer the larger one but that’s my personal preference.
Can you use them for multiplayer, like regular joycons (split the pad into two)?

i have one of these and i really hate how you cannot assign back buttons to the opposing controller
It is annoying but completely understandable. They are separate devices.

how stable are the joycons attached? i bought other 3rd party joycon and they are qa little bit to wabbly, are they exactly like the normal joycons?
Theyre ok. Some wobble as you’d expect but it’s not off putting.
Are these better than the mobapad m6 hd?
clearly not
Waste of money my left controller stop vibration and makes noise now smh
