@@CTAtechdesk i was skeptical on getting the transparent ones instead of the milk white, but we'll see how i feel when they arrive. Thanks for the vid, keep it up 👌
I honestly would love if every copany would do other stick modules than the one most common nowadays. I would even pay 10-20€/$ more for the controller if that means I don't have to fix or buy a new controller.
Linyuvo (same exact controller but different name) they make a smokey version. I bought that as I have the bigbig won controller that's clear for the PC. But more and more I hope they send me the clear version lol. Should arrive next week. Again it's the same controller. All the traces, chips, antenna, etc are in the same exact place.
Only complaint on hyperion is no amiibo support, but still the greatest controller I used for the switch. Fell in love as soon as they came out the box
He probably means the material, plastic with no texture tends to get slippery with moisture and well you’re hands are likely to sweat after intense gaming
I just ordered a pair today, been hearing a lot about quality control not being great.. hoping they’ve got a handle on that. You can turn rumble off correct?
Yes you can turn it off. I’ve had 4 pairs and they are all superb, remember you’re most likely hear from people if it’s not working, rather than people who don’t have issues.
How is the color holding up? Gets permanent marks around the face buttons from your finger resting on them? Is tge white color Yellowing and stain marks? I'm confused if I should do black or white, and in my region, we have the yellow color.
@@markaznar1979 color is still fine, however i do put them away when not in use. Also they haven't been heavily used. My gripe is, i get stick drift randomly on rare occasions, sorts itself out when i next turn on the switch so possibly software issue?
@@DeadRoney would you recommend these, hori split pad pro-not the compact ones, or stock joycons with skull&co neogrip? @@CTAtechdesk Yes ! I set the vibrations to the same level on both sides! But the one on the left makes more noise, I would be looking for someone who could potentially show me on video the vibrations of the controllers to see if it's hardware or normal!
@@Adziwo so theres no way you can press them to where they make the same amount of noise? Or no matter what only one is making loud noise? If so then it sounds like one may be slightly loose.
Do you know where you can still buy that red/black Hyperion case? I went on Nyxi's site and they have a different Hyperion case, I was hoping I could find that same older case.
Hey guys does anybody know how I can set a certain color for every time i start my switch? Because every time I change it to my preference it always goes back to red when I play again
@@Areku_Gaming that's good to know! A lot of cases 'work' because they're wide enough to hold it, and to many people that's enough. I really liked the case shown here because the back of the Switch has a raised platform to rest on at exactly the right level. Because the controller is detachable, I'm trying to avoid anything that might bend the railings over time
@@CTAtechdesk Yeah the new case has a stupid wrist strap thing that comes with it instead of the handle. It's hard to pick up the case without the wrist strap, so I do use it. The case is otherwise pretty good, but I carry my switch inside the Nyxi case within a messenger bag. If I didn't have the messenger bag I'd probably prefer to get a case with a handle.
All Hyperions are sold out currently :( I'd rather wait for a restock than buy Athenas, price difference is negligible. Thanks for many great overviews about them
DISCOUNT CODE IN THE DESCRIPTION.
Loving the OG Hyperion and loving these even more. Hope Ive answered your questions you may have about them.
are these Hal effect joysticks?
Mine just arrived today, and they're *absolutely* life changing. I highly recommend these.
I just got mine. Honestly, they’re amazing they work real good real good quality. 🔥
I just ordered a pair and you got yourself a subscriber mate 👍
Thank you. Appreciate it, you’ll love these, by far and away better than official joycon

Been looking for some aftermarket joy-cons these look the part so ordered some 2 days ago, can't wait.

1:43 crazy it only took mine 2 days from receiving the tracking number. But mine came out of the warehouse a state away.
I just ordered my today 💯🔥
I just got my controllers like those. They work really well but of course it won't fit in a standard case
wish the transparent were a little smokey, i think it would've looked and feel more premium

Need to think of long term when getting things for the switch..
Wow interesting joy con's..
Superb vid..
Will these get dead zones or drift? I really want one I just dont want to get it those things happen

can you check out the iine neptune joy cons and do a comparison with the hyperions? having trouble deciding between the two. thanks

I got the transparent ones and love them! Grip does become an issue after a hour or two of playing. I picked up the milk hyperion to just waiting
could you please expand on the grip? they look ergonomic.

What's the difference between the Hyperion and the Athena?
Few aesthetic changes such as the back button and way the functions work.
About to buy. Thanks
You Need to invest in a full slide with the same setup just not paddles..
I have the milk nyxis, unfortunately my rgb led defaults back to red after a while. Any others have similar issues?
The Hyperion or the athena ?

Can you do a video on some cheap cases for these on the switch?
Aaaah! Out of stock! :( lol - bookmarked that tab though.
Oh no. There was 59 in stock yesterday.

The clear ones don't have a textured back like the other colors do?
No they don’t. I do a comparison in this video : th-cam.com/video/xzANwo8Y_cQ/w-d-xo.html
Thx for tutorial ✅
How can I turn off the Rgb?
It's been a while since I used these exact models, but hold T and keep doubling clicking the stick. I think

I couldn't buy it, it's not available sold out :(
Yeah. Just seen. There were loads in stock yesterday. Keep looking

Hey! My vibrations are different between the left and right controller and I wonder if it was just like that or a manufacturing defect? THANKS !

The Hyperion. Few tweaks make it better. I’ve made a comparison video

Nyxi do one on their website called “carbon”.

Yes they do. Maybe an old video but I still use these joycon.
