Good 'ol Ben Stokes. In 1795 he always knew who to trust and who was up to no good. In 1840 at his old age he is still sharp as a tack. When he was talking to Desmond and he spotted the head of Judah Zachary he knew right off it was nothing but Danger and trouble.
When Roxanne saw Barnabas I was afraid she would give the game away! Barnabas looked so guilty, too! He needs to work on his Poker face! lol! ~Janet in Canada
@@emilyannfrancesmay3919 Millicent Collins died at an apparently early age. She, too, had emotional problems when Barnabas and Angelique were around in 1797. I hope they didn’t lock her up in the tower room of Collinwood like they did with Jenny Collins in 1897 after her “loving”” husband Quentin abandoned her to run after Edward Collins’ wife, Laura. Oh yeah, Jenny was also pregnant with Quentin’s two children at the same time.
Barnabas arrives at Collinwood & introduces himself saying he has a "sister" named Julia. Good thing Julia who hypnotized Roxanne worked. Later on, Barnabas meets cousin Daniel & he welcomes him to the old house.
EXCELLENT EPISODE

Ben Stokes , always one of my all time DS favorites 🙏🏼🌹
Ben Stokes is one of my top ten characters along with Nicholas, Prof Stokes, Magda, Evan Hanley and Charity/Pansy.
11:45 Barnabas and Ben reunite
16:30 Barnabas and Daniel reunite

There is something about Daniel Collins that touches my heart. Will we learn more about his late wife Harriet?
Not much except about her death.
@@jonhinson5701 Is Daniel senile or did he really kill her?
Daniel would have been around the age of 50 to 55 here. That’s kind of young to develop an apparent case of dementia.
@@kensellers4082 I didn't consider that. All the sadness aged him prematurely. I think that's what affected him mentally and emotionally.

Desmond, Desmond ... you brought evil into the house.
It just hit me.....John Karlen REALLY gets to act....none of his characters are alike.
@BethHarmon-uv7tl I mean he could only do so much with clueless Willie.....glad he got to shine in the other time periods! 😀
