Wow your so organized 😍 and those icy pads were a smart idea, I remember doing a lot of sitz baths to help the soreness omg but make sure you stay hydrated and eat foods high in fiber to avoid constipation postpartum. Not fun especially after episiotomy 😭
Omg Nov 8th is my daughter's birthday and she just turned 2! Congratulations to you and Matt !💜💜💜💜 ... yup life before your kids just doesnt make sense. Enjoy every second, take lots of pictures and videos because time goes too fast ! My older one is turning 6 soon... there is nothing greater than the smell of newborn baby !

Th naturacare pads are AMAZING! SO SO SOFT! and not plasticy feeling. The only post partum pads I'd recommend ♥️ never tried freezing them before tho

I loved the padsicles!!! I used at least twice a day.
For how long do you use them? Like a week or more?
Glass bottles are great since they are easy to clean but I prefer the plastic bottles for the big ones coz little ones(the older ones) tend to throw their bottles around. That and glass is heavy to travel with.. ❤️

I love those cuddly pacifer toys. :) My kiddo did NOT care for pacifiers. 😆 Once, that was it, and as soon as she realized no milk came out she refused them. And we did combo breastfeeding and bottle (breastmilk and a good organic milk based formula) because I didn't produce enough.
Hated zippers on sleepers because they always folded up into her face. 😕 I have rheumatoid arthritis and still went with snaps. When she was newborn we went with the open bottom long gowns so diaper changes in the middle of the night would be easier. 🙂

I’ll give you a hint. The pad she comments on being so big... it’s not big enough.
I love the avent bottles too. My babies were always bottle fed but I don't recommend the glass bottles. My dad got them for my 1st kid and when my daughter became old enough to hold her own bottle she started to toss her bottles and ended up breaking all of them🤣 so I recommend the plastic for any new moms here that are bottle feeding

The pads idea is awesome!!, when I had my second baby, the Dr tear the perineal area, from the front to the back! Because she used her hands to turn and pull the baby out of me, and my mom suggested that I should sit on salted water to heal faster 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏻♀️ omg I regretted doing that immediately!
Love the burp cloths, I bought a bunch of baby wash cloths and would use those for spit up through out the day too. They are easier to wash and I feel like they absorb better. Just a mommy tip, I have 4 and one on the way! Heard her cry on Instagram, so so precious! Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!!

Our baby didn’t do well with those. Made her gassy. We did the dr. Browns glass bottles and thank goodness she did very well with those. We only need to change the nipple based on stage. So just FYI, if she’s colicky or gassy give them a try. Good luck!!!

Okay quick question: why the pad-sicles? Do they not decrease the absorption capacity of the pads? How exactly are the helpful?
They are for cooling, soothing and healing 😊
Did the pads get stuck when you folded them in half and froze them?
Some did and others didn’t so I think it depends on the type/brand. I would probably just freeze them flat next time

I can recommend you the Elvie Pump. It's super cool because it has no tubes and wires and doesn't make noise. In my opinion it's perfect. You can have your hands free while you're pumping. I did not understand the meaning of pad preparations want to know the benefits of it and or these pads to be used directly from the freezers
When I delivered my first born the hospital would give me the same type of soothing pads but made from newborn diapers lol life saver!
