I’m so glad you trusted yourself and did what you knew was best for you. I’m 5 weeks pot op VSG and I don’t plan to integrate trigger foods in anytime soon and maybe never. And again, thanks for sharing these difficulties.
Thank you for your message. You're right. That was the best choice for me at that time. I am now 1 Year post op and the craving has disappeared. I am not able to have some of the foods I used to crave without overindulging. In fact I would prefer to have a salad rather than a brownie or chips now LOL Can you imagine ?!?! I worked hard to fix my relationship with food and I learned ways to work around my needs and desires. Having this surgery is definitely a life changing decision but I am grateful for it. I hope you're healing well and that you're slowly adapting to this new way of live. Wishing you all the best!
Luckily, I’m not overly indulgent on sweets, though eating sweets will set me craving. My indulgence is fried chicken and gravy. I’m from the south (US) and these foods are everywhere! But thankfully, right now, the thought of fried foods turn my stomach. I’m hoping that continues. Thanks for sharing your experience. It helps navigate the journey.
I’m 3 weeks post-op, so I’m going back and enjoying your earlier videos. I’m losing and pooping fine. Urine is fine. But I’m just exhausted. I’m hoping to get more energy soon.
Hi Sara. I'm so glad to hear that you're moving through your phases, successfully. Energy will come back, I promise. You'll have so much energy, you won't know what to do with yourself. I go walking every day and play around with my 3 year old...and I can keep up :) Thanks for watching my videos and reaching out. Keep in touch :)
CONGRATULATIONS on taking this step. It's not an easy journey. It's a lot of hard work, mentally and physically. However it is Definitely WORTH it. Wishing you lots of success in your journey. Keep in touch, I would love to hear how everything goes. Thank you for watching :)
Thank you for sharing your journey and well done I am so pleased for you, I am having my bypass this Saturday, and I am a bit anxious but excited at the same time ❤
OMG Did you have it yet? What surgery did you get? How did it go? Wishing you all the best. Keep me posted. I am now 7 months post op. I feel amazing. I wish the same for you.
I’m 3 weeks post op and today has been hard, I literally can’t stomach the idea of eating purée food again so I’ve not had anything all day other than a couple cheese triangles. I’m fed up of the same foods over and over.
Hi Sharron. I wish you lots of patience. Time will fly and before you know it you'll be 1 year post op and this phase will be a distant memory. Focus on your protein and water and trust the process. You're going to be grateful for the results, I promise! I just posted a video today where I look back at the different phases.... I can't believe it's already been 14 months. Push on through Sharron.... It's worth it!
Thank YOU Diane. I hope you're always healthy and happy. Thanks for watching my videos. Hopefully you get some type of value from my content. Be well :)
@@thistothatlife I'm good....still on a plateau....wish I knew how to get past it...grrrr.....haven't mastered chicken breast yet....dark meat I can do but white meat I can't process it I get sick every time.... hope you're doing well
I lost most of my weight Prior to surgery by eating healthy, lower carbs and forcing myself to exercise. But that didn't cure my type 2 diabetes. I had Gastric Bypass and that cured all my illnesses. I am now 7 months post op and feeling healthier than I ever did. Wishing you the same. Thank you for watching my videos. I appreciate it.
