I wanted to spin an object in and out in a project I'm working on today, and I remembered this tutorial. So I looked it up, and found that I couldn't do it, as my edition does not include Titler Pro. However, I dreamed up another way to do it without Titler Pro. I divided my object into three, turned the middle one back to front, and then used freeform and scale on all three segments to make it look like it rotated on the Y-Axis. It worked, and the object concerned looked like it was rotating, though it was a bit laborious and time-consuming. Mind you, it was my first attempt at it.
Thanks. You can import objects and change their motion in Titler Pro. This tutorial may give you some ideas. th-cam.com/video/2EB3RQGB_bQ/w-d-xo.html --Jim
You're right, Chris. And then you have a choice of which axis to use. I thought of trying the spin in Titler Pro with a title that has dimensional depth. But that's for another time. Hope your summer is going well in it's last weeks. --Jim
Hi i don't know if you remember me My first name was Keith I mentioned to you I bought Power Director 21 ultimate. Anyway I believe you told me Amazon had it for $112.00 In the box. Because I mentioned to you when I bought it I wanted the CD in a box do you recall ? So I was looking at the one on Amazon like you suggested. When I read real close of course it shows the picture of a box but it does say download For $112.00 I also mentioned to you that I finally did receive the CD which was not in a box. It was in kind of a cardboard type envelope from some company called cleverbridge. So I open it up and there was the CD And on the front of the CD was the, I'm not sure what you call it key number registration number or something. So I flipped it over just to see if the CD was actually burned. It was. But this thing was definitely not in pristine condition. I'm not saying the CD was scratched up but it certainly had some marks on it. Hmm I'm not going to attempt to install it. I'm just going to leave the previous download I got on my computer and see if that continues to work. Keith
Calvin, Thanks for asking your question. Couple of questions. What do you mean by "replicating"? what are you doing in Titler Pro? How are you using the image? Does this happen with one image or all of them? Do you see it in Titler Pro or not until you get back to your PowerDirector timeline? Any clarification will help. --Jim
I am using a png file exactly as your video. It looks great and rotates perfect in the plugin; however, in the PD viewer it shows green dots throughout the image. I have experimented w different video setting without success. I have a robust GPU. Any thoughts?
I just tried rotating my object title that I created using Titler Pro in front of several different color boards. I didn't see any of the artifacts that you see in your situation. So I'm not sure what is going on in your case. --Jim
Excellent excellent excellent on a rotation tip I love it.
Keith
You're welcome Keith. --Jim

Craig,
Wow. I applaud your creativity. There are often workaround strategies if you don't mind investing the time, like you did. Way to go. --Jim
Thank you very much. I search this tutorial for along time.
I am pleased this one proved helpful to you. --Jim
I'm not even sure if my 2021 ultimate has new blue.
So much to learn from Jim.
Thanks
They discontinued the license with NewBlue, so this is only relevant now for users of older versions of PowerDirector. --Jim
@@SharperTurtle
Okay thank you I appreciate you letting me know they discontinued new blue
Keith

Thank you, my dear brother, Jim. I like this video. thank you. Please make some video like Premiere Pro Transition effect making in Power Director.
Does the y-axis also have extrusion like 3D ?
I'm not even sure if my 2021 version ultimate has what you just did with the y-axis.
Keith
Jim. I think you needed to differentiate between rotate and spin in you terminology. Remember, you can also use Titler Pro to "rotate".

@@SharperTurtle I wonder if rotate and revolve would better definitions.

When replicating using the NewBlue Titler Pro I get blinking green dots on the png image and black mask area during playback. Suggestions?

I'm going to experiment and see if I can replicate your experience. Sometimes that helps me see something I'm missing. --Jim
