    Epic job Evan! I'm glad you are showing small startup that they can start small, do it themselves and be successful at it. They don't have to go to a manufacturer out of the gate and potentially lose the extra cash flow they will need to get the business off the ground.
    And when you do start by doing it yourself you'll be that much smarter when you do get a manufacturer do scale it up ... as you already know how it is done.

    Drum lift+ nozzle+ tubing to multiple bottles or Mylar bags on scales. Small Plunger for topping off or overages.
    Mylar bags-7 to 17 cents on Amazon.
    Mold-rite in Indiana and Ohio for bottles, probably 5 cents a piece. Phoenx closures in Illinois for induction caps, Jetpack shipping in Ohio for labels cheap.

    You could automate the hell out of it! We used to have a small scale manufacturing company( food supplement stuff) , and there we did the packaging, labeling etc. (we had all your gadgets too just as a failsafe backup option , deja vu😊). The dosing pump is not very accurate if it's controlled by time base! I would put it on a small scale and the pump would stop if the correct weight is reached.And all this would happen on the belt conveyor, totally automatically! A person would have to monitor the whole process for every case..

      Automating this will cost 30-50k with a set of Chinese machines. It'll be more if you want a local company to manufacture the machines.

      No. I’d use a piston filler. Honey is too thick for this

      It's a generic label applicator machine. You can buy them with many brand names on it.

    Hi,
    How do you clean the pumo and hoses after filling?

    • @Shocker99
      @Shocker99 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on the liquid and how much you care. Some run just water through them, some put water and alcohol through the tube, some dispose of the tube, others don't bother and just run their next batch through.
      The pump should be able to be dismantled and the same liquids used to clean them.

    We manufacture body oil. I DID NOT LIKE THAT MACHINE - if your material's temperature has changed, likely the viscosity has also changed and therefore the settings in the machine are constantly being manually adjusted to compensate. Its not a "set it and forget it" programing. HOWEVER, I do like your hustle on getting the work done. Thanks for sharing your process.

    • @Shocker99
      @Shocker99 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is true for all liquids and all cheap liquid filling machines. You only have a set and forget set up if you have an expensive liquid filler with a weight checker

    I want it to fill 16 oz of juice in my bottles. Does this machine measure out a certain volume and fill? Or Will I have to know when to stop it?

    • @Shocker99
      @Shocker99 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Neither. Liquid filling machines like this run a motor until a setting in your program is met. Sometimes it's time, others it's the number of rotations of the pump. This machine is done on time. The machine has no idea how much liquid has actually been pumped into the container.
      You figure out the settings for the program by trial and error. You set a value, see what happens, then adjust your value up/down depending on whether it was under or over filled.
