I think Magnus Carlsen has arrived where Bobby Fischer arrived in 1996: bored with rote-memory opening prep and having a strong desire to get to the "real chess" of the middle game. Carlsen should play Fischer 960 chess, where the first move puts you into the middle game. Most (all?) very strong players should "retire" from classical chess and specialize in 960 chess.

Can you do a beginner playlist that many beginners like me can follow the correct order because while playing we go with a idea of playing one opening but the oppenent plays a different move which breaks our mind oh no we were thicking he would do that move but he didn't so what to do and finally we lose the match so please make a playlist
Hikaru doesn't farm clicks. a4 is a garbage opening. g4 is a million times easier to play than that while also being an opening coined by GMs, but yeah, let's focus on the milquetoast carlsen games because number bigger == me better chess.
it is more instructive to us ... normal people ... to analyse games of elo between 1000 and 2000 each time game 1: 1000 to 1400 elo game 2: 1400 to 1800 elo game 3 : 1800 to 2000 elo Normal chess players example 3 players of different range of elo try to play the london opening or something how they defend against the london ....

Sorry she left you. But anyway, it's impressive that the statistically worst opening move in chess was able to topple a GM. If it's so underwhelming to you, feel free to devote over 20 years to the sport, become the best in history, and show us something more entertaining. Go on!

Carlsen heavily promotes 960 and plays in high level tournaments whenever such are held
@@sebu1301 OK, I am glad to hear that, because he is clearly bored with prep. Only 960 can contain a talent like him.
@@misterguts Definitely. Wesley So whooped him 13,5-2,5 in 2019
Look into the Freestyle Chess tournament, Magnus is a big proponent of it.
Absolute brilliancy from the Chess Genius of our time. This is one of the most entertaining games ever, thank you for sharing!

Can't wait to play this against my 1600 opponents
They would beat you up.
Magnus has broken the matrix
Magnus can play literally anything and still win
He's always been the "as long as i can convert into an equal board i got a good shot at winning" guy
does Carlsen have something against Nasuta? that was nasty
Yes it seems a bit disrespectful
9:09 Nc6 is a checkmate
there's a bishop 😂
Total magnesium oxide
Such a nice pick!
At 9:10 aren’t the black better off with Q e8 ?(instead of moving the knight)
No because it does not stop Nf7+, black will have to capture the knight with the queen.
No cuz if black does that, white checks with the knight and when the black king moves the black queen hangs
The immoral game
Thanks dude today I won my first match using the london system , your video helped me
Your content is amazing and I looked for a donate option but you don't have one.
Tried that against Martin chess bot. Martin chess bot didn't fall for that trick and played counter, and fell down after 35 moves instead of 17.
Magnus wins with the Zilbermintz Gambit! Lev must be so proud!
Total Magness indeed! ‼️‼️‼️
Wow, he's still the goat...
nearly 9000 views but only 41 comments is suspicious
Spectacular !!
He cant keep getting away with this 💀
😂😂.. Like he said recently..i will keep doing it until someone can stop me. Savage...

@GMIgorSmirnov
What a move...phew....what a move.
Have a look on Brandon jackobson Match of 1.a4 he defeated hikaru with this move , more bizarre than magnus's opening
Hikaru doesn't farm clicks. a4 is a garbage opening. g4 is a million times easier to play than that while also being an opening coined by GMs, but yeah, let's focus on the milquetoast carlsen games because number bigger == me better chess.
That's y he is magnus 🔥🔥🔥🤙🤙
Gosh, just think how much better a player Carlsen would be if he watched your videos on how to play correctly.....🤣
I'll take that as a compliment. 😂
Mag mag's bizzare adventure
9:26 isn't there just a mate in 1 with Nc6?
The bishop from light years away was watching lol
You have to understand the rules to be able to know when to break them. :-)
he literally just disgraced the opponent
Magnificent.
Wow rare wonderful but surprising gme , I always think that the back would win but mgnus knows what he doing🥴

Dd he violate the rules? No. Dd he unfollow "good openng prnciples?"
I swear the whole chess community is like magnus everything 💀
What? Its hard to read that with no punctuation included.
Huh?
@@kenw2225 Alright:
I swear the whole chess community is like Magnus everything. 💀
Is this better, or do I need to explain it word for word?
Yeah, Magnus

I swear, the whole chess community is "👍 Magnus everything"
I swear (to) the whole chess community "is like Magnus everything"
Even GMs lose to the Grob ..!!!
good to know
Because the grob is played by an undefeated ex world champ & the mozart of chess.
Задвинул!
Only magnus.
**I would like to see you(GM) play against the Bot 2,000 Elo on Chess and using the black pieces!**
To be fair, Magnus understands both the core of chess and opponents' psychology very well. So it's not surprising. The video is a little clickbaity
Wow, a GM used an opening invented by a handful of GMs in the old country... wow. shocking.
