it's not perfect but I'm getting there. Talk about a solo that has everything. Arpeggios, lighting fast pull offs, alternate picking, sweeping if you want. it's a perfect practice routine wrapped up in one solo

I could easily see that u have been practicing sweeps and fast arpegios more than the simple phrases. Sometimes mastering simplicity is even harder than doing the fast ones. Youre on a good learning curve i can see there's big potențial. Keep doing what u doing! Nice play

This is coming from a guy who hasn't learned a solo yet, it sounds great so far to me! I can tell you've worked on it. We're all in this guitar-playing journey together, all it takes is time and a will to do it!
First thing that caught my eye were the pickups. They look like FilterTrons kinda, and I'm amazed by the fact a Harley Benton can sound this good tbh. I like both your fretting and picking technique! Seems like you've worked down to something that works for you. Cheers!

you have enough technique to nails this. go watch Ben Eller's lesson on this solo for accurate transcription and take your time to practice it.

I should have been mastering this stuff in my twenties it's hard to get any faster twenty years later. But no matter what practicing stuff like this is a lot of fun.
Gotta say, the technique is good, but it lacks dynamics. Controlled Vibratos and strong downpicks. I would suggest that as constructive criticism, but you definitely are capable of performing this live if you play like this
Thanks for the feedback, I'll admit it can be easy to lose a sense of dynamics when you are chasing one insane lick after another, always good to remember the feel and not just technique
Some licks are wrong. I am all about improviasation, but it just seems you cant play them.

@@mtguitar5150 if you can’t handle criticism don’t upload. If you just want the people who sugar coat you for playing half the solo, ignore other comments. The fact that I don’t have a video of me playing it doesn’t change that you didn’t play it either. You did a good job on the rest, just learn the sweeping patterns, there is no point uploading half the solo. I believe you can do it.

@@daveweisbrich1769 sure I believe it's a standard Finland national jersey. It was personally signed to me by Selanne in 1997. The other goodie I have is a Rangers home jersey signed by Graves, Leetch and Messier in 94
