How I would rank the bosses. 15: Qlipoth Roots (Terrible first boss that just becomes a path blocker) 14: Proto Angelo (Normal enemy from here-on-out, but it was a cool introduction and fight) 13: Nidhogg (Really easy, but had great music and Griffin's dialogue was great) 12: Gilgamesh (First a hazard for V, then a decent fight for Nero) 11: Urizen vs Nero (Good prologue fight, and it has a secret ending if you beat him, so +1) 10: Elder Geryon Night (Great throwback to DMC 3 and was a pretty good fight) 9: Goliath (The true first boss, and it was actually quite fun to fight against) 8: Malphas (Teleportation, fast movement, and unpredictability make this really enjoyable) 7: Urizen vs Dante (1: Dante looks badass. 2: We get a new ability. 3: Fight is quite challenging) 6: Artemis (Gets you accustomed to dodging and is an amazing challenge) 5: Griffin, Shadow, and Nightmare (Best throwback to an older DMC game as you take on 3 bosses from the first game at once) 4: Cavaliere Angelo (2 words: Motorcycle Weapon, plus it's just an amazing fight) 3: King Cerberus (Another throwback to DMC 3, but improves on the original fight with 2 more elements and even more attacks) 2: Urizen Final Form (The introduction, dialogue between him and Dante, and the big reveal at the end was absolutely astonishing) 1: Vergil (It's Vergil, who do you think would be number 1, huh? The Roots?)

after watching combo videos i find these "bad gameplay" somewhat enjoyable because they actually show the bosses being hard instead of being instantly destroyed by the player

I absolutely love the DMC references that are made in this game. Like the Cerberus talking about Berial and Bael from DMC4. Or Dante talking about Mallet Island. Bringing me back to the very first DMC I played and fell in love

@@bmbadventures8134 2 didn't reuse it's bosses, except Bolverk, but he was the Nelo Angelo of the series. 3 on the other hand used it's bosses twice. Once normally, then all of them again near the final mission of the game.
It's a 10/10 game. Even now. And even tho the other older DMC are nostalgic. . I love how epic and long the boss fights are. A lot of things are great about it
Anybody notice that Griffon receiving a slightly tragic death scene here is an homage to his death in DMC1? I'll never forget how upset that made me when i was younger, watching Mundus mercilessly cook Griffon to death while he begged for his life. It made me hate Mundus. That tonal transition from fighting Griffon to sympathizing with him shocked me; it was a really effective scene.
I think Subhuman fits really well while you're playing with Dante. The lyrics aren't as cool on their own but as part of the background it goes really well, especially if you're using cavalier devil arm.

In the goliath boss i love the reference of astaroth from ghouls & ghosts having this eyes and mouth on his belly & all spitting fire from it! Ah good all capcom having references in almost anything they do in their other title franchises.You see that's why i come back to you even though you are lousy cash grabbers with DLC's and such,you made a new DMC game that i liked allot as it seems good for you and fun for us as always!

*moreover it’s more like Nero was fighting things that he couldn’t have made into devil arms, such as angelos of Lady, Full-Demon-Vergil, and also a part of the qliphoth itself. So was Gilgamesh so that doesn’t count either. And my theory for V is he sent the boss demons he defeated to either Nightmare’s infinite nightmare realm or something; or he just kinda poofed them out of existence with his cane since he defeats demons entirely differently than Vergil and Dante Also as a quick side note Nero is just some guy to the devils he defeats in five since he didn’t unlock his devil trigger again until the end of the game, so Demons really wouldn’t find him a worthy suitor for a devil arm transformation such as Goliath and… Malphas is just malphas. I don’t really know what Maplhas is supposed to be to be entirely honest And V is quite literally only the human parts of vergil with very little to no demonic power holding him together so even if demons DID feel like merging with him I doubt he could complete the process since he isn’t really powerful for that.
This my favorite game series hands down. I’ll have all of the platinums one day..... ......one day. Got the plat from DmC. (Yea I liked it, big whoop, wanna fight about it?!)
eh, i like it actually, because it fits nero's mood compared to metal song. its actually a remix of Devil Trigger song, with somehow the vocal not triggering, despite reaching A-rank (theres footage with vocal triggered but in higher difficulty)

Dmc4 though. You had the bosses with nero. Then with dante. Then a boss rush again. The bosses were good but not fight 3 times a difficulty good lol
As someone who doesn't play this game, I must say that the bosses look super cool and unique.
In terms of design? Sure.
Personality though? Nah.
I stick to the old ones instead (DMC 1 and 3).

eh, i like it actually, because it fits nero's mood compared to metal song. its actually a remix of Devil Trigger song, with somehow the vocal not triggering, despite reaching A-rank (theres footage with vocal triggered but in higher difficulty)
