- This week, I install the first new parts for the Chevy K30 Trail build. This is my 1982 Chevrolet K30 that I'm building into an ultimate adventure truck to handle any off-road trail. We have a ton of new part from Offroad Designs (ORD) ready to be installed. Join me on my journey!

I used a small piece of plywood. Drill the holes to match the bracket. center punch the bushing hole then drill it out with a hole saw. Mount the plywood with 4 bolts in the correct orientation the drill with the hole saw. The plywood will guide your hole saw through the metal. Simple easy and quick. I still have those two pieces I made.
@@outback3791 good idea!

To enlarge the hole you get a square plate, about 3/16" thick, drill four holes that match the 4 bracket mounting holes. Then you bolt the plate on the back-side of the frame. Then you can punch an indent on the plate in the middle the hole for the center drill-bit of the hole-saw.
Willow the K30 cat. Lol 😂
Another way to drill that hole is to cut a flat plate, bolt it inside the frame, find the center and drill it with a regular hole saw.
Good idea, thanks
That’s going to be a badass truck when finished.

Willow wanted to play more 😺
Nice to see these wear items getting replaced, big shout out from Yorktown Va.
Yup! It feels good to find to get them replaced
On that jig you were talking about I wonder if you used a holesaw on a price of wood and made the bolt pattern using the new part if you could bolt the wood to the frame and use that as a guide
That would work

nice, what year?

Sounds like a great place
To enlarge the big hole from another hole stack hole saws in each other. One the size of the hole you have inside one the size of the hole you need.
That’s a great idea! I’ll have to remember that one, thanks!
It starting to come together! Next time try a step drill bit. Might work might not. Love the plasma cutter. Too cool! Keep the fun coming! Be happy, safe and stay healthy from Calico, Calico Ghost Town, California .
I do have step bits, nothing for a 2" hole though.

ORD
What brand is that hitch?
Can I get the kits link to buy
It’s not real a kit. You need to go to Off-road Designs and build it yourself on their website.
