I’m almost 80. I love this recap of Landon’s truck build. He is so fortunate to have a dad with incredible build skills, teaching skills and experience, and a mom who is so supportive. Can’t say enough about you all, and your wonderful lifestyle. Thank you so much! 👍👍👍👍👍 😎
Agree, Great Family & the knowledge that Paul shares with his family is just so awesome. Great video y'all. To all who reads this Stay safe, Take Care & God Bless.
After all is said and done, that big grin on Landon's face at the end makes it all worth while. Him and Paul doing their thing for this to come together just made them tighter as a dad and son. Outstanding.
It's nice to see the smile on his face in the different stages. I have always said that if you make your children use their own hard earned money and time for things they want they will alleviate it more and take better care of it. Good job mom and dad!
Nice!!!!!!! Family is so important. Grandpa Sherm was there. Papa dar showed up.. And 2 of his uncles where also in this. Lando got more than his first truck here.
Good job Michelle... Bringing the video together. Good job Lando... Tear down, welding, & all the new skills learned. Not to mention reminding dad " brand new tires, really dad"... LoL 😂 Good job Paul... Being the mad scientist of building 4X4 ...
I’m so proud for Landon. Looks like y’all raised an awesome youngen . We need more parents like y’all. Thank you for all the wonderful content y’all share with us
Thank you for not only being a good dad, but showing the world what it means to be a great father! I hope you both have many, many years of enjoying that truck together.
Great to see Landons smile on the test drive!! I remember my 1st car , Very cool! Poor Michelle having to do that editing though!! Probably took longer then Paul building an engine...lol You deserve a raise!! Love your channel guys!
What a family! Pulling together to get Landon his first ride and what a ride it is. Paul your skills are top notch and your patience with Landon is awesome. Michelle your support is incredible, your children are very fortunate to have you and Paul as parents.
Having been following you guys before this started, it's awesome to see it all come together. From one father to another Paul, you are one of the greats!
This is the story that defines you guys. Family, commitment to each other, making memories and enjoying the outdoors, all based on love. I've said it before here, but I will say it again. I am 63, my wife and I raised our boys this way. Your son will never forget these times, and neither will you. The memories will grow sweeter as he (and you, LOL) grow older. I see my family 20 years ago in your videos. You give me hope.
Landon is so blessed to have the family he does and to learn from his pop who definitely has much to teach him. A great mom and pop is what every kid deserves in this life. Much respect to this awesome family.
Paul, you built more than a truck…you built a lifetime of memories. Thank you Michelle for the work in the edit and to Landon for being the son every dad would be proud to build with.
Three generations helping on that truck. Passing along knowledge and traditions as it should be. I’m in envy. 🙏🙏 I’m in love with y’all’s channel for sure now. I’ve been watching plenty lately between shifts at the ER. (Paramedic). I wrench and tinker on my off days when I can in my home shop. Trying to build up my knowledge and inspiration for one day being able to make the transition when I retire, from medic to mechanic/fabricator/tinkerer. Your channel is helping me along my journey for sure. Thank y’all, Jason AB, from Texas.
My Dad helped my brother and I build a wrecked 55 Ford sedan. It took a year. But as each task was completed the satisfaction was well earned. Now at 75 my approach in raising my son was based on my parents know how! You have allot to be proud of! Teamwork and awesome parents setting the example! God Blessed your family!👍🏻
Makes my heart feel good ! It’s always a great thing seeing a young man working on his first truck! Now whenever it makes a funny noise he will remember what he did or didn’t do. Congrats Landon on a great truck. My first ride was a 1970 SS 396 Chevelle. With that big block, you will never pass a gas station. A tank of gas every cruise night. That’s a evening cruise night one tank of gas. But you have to love a big block Chevy ! Be safe young man !
Great story Great Truck glad you left it a Big Block truck. The Smile on Landons face showed so much well deserved pride. Thanks for sharing Paul and Michelle nice work all around.
Society needs more of this good wholesome father and son time. We need more Mayberry and less Kardashians. Paul you and Michelle have raised and continue to raise some amazing people. The world needs more parents like you two. God Bless
Yep I kept up on each build video. Then one y’all had to add or extend fenders and add mud flaps. Big smile on his face. Think he likes truck. You great Dad for helping and teaching too. Enjoyed
That's a great recap , after following the whole build this is just the tip of the iceberg on how much work was involved.. The end result with big ole happy smiles from Lando makes it all worth it huh Paul ... You guy's are awesome !!
What a great video y’all !! Unbelievable how talented y’all are. I would love to be able to build stuff like that. I’ve learned how to weld a bit. But, the joke is - instead of laying dimes I lay worms! 🤣 Hope he enjoys that beautiful square body!
Had I a Pa like Paul, I would have had a very wholesome childhood! GREAT job Lando!! Awesome to see you involved and into your truck. Seems to be rare these days, kids turning wrenches and welding. Hope you geared it down so he can only do 55mph Paul, that's a lot-o- motor in her!!! Especially love the bed, and it was cut perfect as shown!!! Always look forward to my Sunday FabRats!!!!
He will NEVER forget the lessons he learned doing that with dad. I do wish that more kids (and parents) had the kind of opportunity you gave him. My dad taught me confidence and how to be handy, so when I got my first vehicle at 16 I was able to work on it at least SOME. So many kids today couldn't change the oil or even a tire and it's a damn shame. This build makes me miss my '87 K5. I didn't put my motor back together right after replacing the rods and I blew it up on the way to Cape Hatteras. Now everything is electronics-this and computer-that... but I still love a square-body.
I loved this series, I am so happy for and proud of Landon for getting his hands dirty and working for what he wanted. In this day and age far too many kids have a sense of entitlement and want everything handed to them on a silver platter. The work ethic that you guys are instilling in him will serve him well the rest of his life, great job!!!
Awesome truck! This whole process reminds me of the times I spent in my garage with my 3 boys. We ALL learned a lot, and we’re still learning today. A BIG thumbs up to Paul! 👍. Landon will remember these days forever.
This is a truck that no matter how old he is he will smile every time he thinks of it. Not just the build itself but all the father/ son bonding as well. That is just as beautiful and priceless as the truck itself. Did a great job.
What a great recap on Lando's truck build!! My favorite is when Lando is grinning like the cat that ate the canary while driving !! Cheers!!! Another great vid!
I have a 78 Scout that I have rebuilt the drivetrain on and boy do I wish my dad could've helped me with it. Definitely have learned alot and it's hit me in the checkbook but if I wouldve had someone that had already made those mistakes wouldve been huge. I aspire to be a dad like you someday. That's one bad ass truck and the memories will last forever!
Happy to see your truck is finished Landon definitely one sweet ride. Y'all are one great family makes a guy feel all warm and fuzzy seeing that y'all can work together. Your dad definitely worked hard on that truck for you shows what a great man Paul is.
This young man will never forget this truck build. Time spent with family building life experiences. What he has learned will go with him for the rest of his life, Great video.
Love, love, love! This is how it should be everywhere. Dad's teaching their sons, to be men. Many unspoken lessons learned, and yall blessed us with sharing.
Like Paul my dad could build-fix anything and he taught me, my kids grew up on a farm but moved to the city as soon as they could. Now rich city folks are buying up all on the land around us and bringing their city ideas with them. If I wasn't a Canadian I would move to Utah in a heart beat.
The only thing is I’m jealous!! What a great series on his truck. He just doesn’t know how lucky he really is. What a great thing you to have done together. Enjoy it every day!! Congrats there youngster on a job well done.
What a great build! Landon will remember this his whole life. His folks are such great people. Thanks for sharing such a "feel good" production. Regards from S Africa Clive

And You should be very proud of how Your raising your family...Congrats to Your Son for having the Nicest Squarebody in The area at his age...Hes difenitely going to Be a Great Young Man....Great Video...and Sweet Badassed Squarebody.....
I've just completed my own vehicle project getting a 2001 Subaru Outback back on the roads and when you do the work on the your car you respect it much better than people do when they just purchase one. Been a big project which took me 18months, a few turns and twists and during the Covid-19 issues that compromised delieveries etc but now at the end of it. Great to see other people working on their vehicles, nice video.
Great job landon. A big learning experience and spending quality time with a great father. You got to learn to value your first truck more from putting hard work into it. Way better than just getting the money and buying something. Plus you have the knowledge on how to do your own repairs. Thanks for the recap. Great channel. Great family and great entertainment with real family values.
I said it before and I will say it again. You guys as a family are awesome. Dad teaching the kids to fish so they have great memories and can pass it on. Mom taking care of everything else so each member of her family can do whatever they love and grow into great skilled and productive adults. The two of you make a great root for the family tree that will extend past the blood family. You teach one and they teach another then it just exsplodes from there. Stay safe healthy and happy 👍
I built my first car when I was 16 . Bought two dodge darts early 70’ s 2 door with a bad leaning tower of power and the other good engine rusted body. What you’re doing brings first car build to an epic level!
Just found this channel, I’ve owned 41 square body trucks, everything from 2wd short beds, to 2 and a half ton square body dump trucks, you name it I’ve built it. So excited to watch this transformation!
Congratulations on getting your permit and building your first truck Landon! I watched this build in sheer admiration. You got yourself a rad truck! Well done Paul!!!

I remember building my first truck with my dad when I was his age, almost brings a tear to my eye. God bless you and your family fabrats.
It’s great that he’s building his first truck and and learning from you along the way. I did the same. So many kids don’t get that experience👍
I think I heard a tear in moms voice when she said "he's just growing up" That is a very proud father and son, memories that will last forever.
Landon will remember this for the rest of his life. The bond between a father and son is priceless. Great job on the build gentlemen.

Yes sir. Lessons for life and it will be passed down. His son will be a rare breed in this nasty world and that's a good thing
