The Great Roddy Frame…. Probably the most underrated Rock ‘n’ Roll legends of all time! Thanks for the amazing back catalogue of songs Roddy 😊🙏. In my eyes, one of the rock ‘n’ roll legends of the last 40 years…. Right up there with the best of em! 🎸 🎤❤️😃
This song of his. his lyrics. This album. his words. If it weren't for his words, I might not be writing this right now. He changed my life, he changed my future. thank you. Roddy Flame. :)
I see this and suddenly it's any given Sunday night in 1990. I'm 13, and I am staying up WAY too late for a school night watching 120 Minutes on MTV... Dave Kendall owes me hundreds of hours of sleep😀
I heard this song on our alternative rock station in Pittsburgh, WXXP, back in the 80's. I thought it was a great song! So I bought the CD, but I only listened to it once. Nothing else jumped out at me. I probably should have given it more of a chance. Maybe I'll listen to it again today!
Thanks for posting all these great videos and tracks from this group. I love their songs. But in the 80's I've never really picked them up. I was totally in love with Stock Aitken Waterman, ha, ha, ha, but this is SUPER too.
So let's go down the "Early 90s Alternative Music Aesthetic Checklist": 1. Weird name that only really smart people understand--CHECK. 2. Attractive female bass player--CHECK 3. Pale, moody lead singer with bed-head--CHECK 4. Sole black bandmate on drums--CHECK (Note: If band has no female members, the black member may be the bassist. In any case, a proper Early Alternative rhythm section should include at least one woman and/or one black person. Aztec Camera may be the only band of the era to have both☺) 5. Band should come from any one or combination of the following: England, Ireland, or Australia. If American: Athens, GA; Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, or Seattle will do--PARTIAL CREDIT (they're from Scotland) 4.5 out of 5...not bad😁

+vladi569 Totally agree!
Agree as well.
because you're right - brilliant!
The word underated is overated and over used.Roddy Frame and Aztec camera were never underated.
“You only get one hit.....that’s the beauty of it!” Brilliant!
Saw Aztec Camera live in 1990. Brilliant gig! Great Songwriter!
The most underrated band of many an era...so glad I got to see them many times!
Still sounds as epic as it did from day one!
Now THAT is a pop song chorus done properly.
Heard this song and the full album for the first time the other day when I found me dad's vinyl. Not disappointed one bit, brilliant👌
Saw them in LA on the Knife tour when I was a kid. Still one of the best shows I've seen.
GORGEOUS CLASSIC OF 90 .......................... THANKS AZTEC CAMERA
What a chorus!! Perfect pop.
I always seem to forget just how brilliant this song & album really is!!!

James Daniels Exact same here!
Same. Such a simpler time. When MTV actually played music videos. The golden years for sure. Sigh.
I saw Aztec live in July 1990 and it's one of the best gigs I've been too! Totally underrated!

Amazing classic song !!! Released June 1990 :)))
Great song, brings back old memories
Stopped in my tracks the first time I heard this - Damn you MTV for taking "120 Minutes" from my life 🕑
Народ,что у хорошей музыки так мало просмотров и комментариев!Это же офигенно,потрясающие 80-е!!!Всех с наступающим 2022 годом!!!
This only reached No 70 in the UK charts - Criminal.
This is one of Aztec Camera's rawer tracks - Way better than 'Somewhere In My Heart.'
the instrumentation in this song is just incredible and his vocals too
Fantastic lost classic. This song was on the radio in Virginia when I was a new 2LT, been a fan since.
Strangely, this is the first time I've seen the actual video
First time hearing it today suddenly starting singing with the chorus. Damn

Some people are beyond reasoning..
I love this band…they remind me a bit of INXS.
unas de mis colecciones ... es un temon
Saw them circa this tour...met band afterwards..Detroit...
AC should have had many more top 10 singles and not just somewhere in my heart
Haven't you heard? You only get one hit, that's the beauty of it
Sounds a lot like a mid 80s Bryan Adams hit!
Coolest.........Band..........Ever
I miss you, Cybil E. Taylor.
Vaya temazo...

the intro set looks exactly like the video for split enz - sweet dreams. yes/no?
Interesting occult meaning here
Who is the bassist in the video?
There is a light at the end.
who is the redhead
in the bass?
Life's a one track movie
Pretty sure it's "one TAKE movie". As in a director saying " that's a take".
I remember.😂😎
Starts out sounding like the trashcan Sinatras, then morphs into the alarm.
Frances Tiafoe at 1:51
Saw AC in London too..1988..not same band....
This was from 1990
best band in the world, until DMB
Back when "good" meant good, not AS LOUD AS FUCKING POSSIBLE.
